pssh... the trick to get event unit from farm event is just 1st able to clear the map.

Yeah but, to be honest... seeing the wiki about the event and the units deployed I don't see myself beating it AT ALL right now.
On another note, how hard are magic crystals to get? I've gotten a ninja from the base gacha and I kinda like them quite a bit, so I've been thinking of going for Saki... I also like pretty much all the units in the exchange thing right now, so I think I'm going to dump tons of crystals on tomorrow's daily. What's the rate at getting them?

All i remember is God-tier is at least 65% x7 (reason cuz during 1.5x drop with monica i got 100% drop and already collected more than 1000 like this)
Extreme-tier i heard someone mention it was 55% x7 before
Hard-tier.... this 1 i'm totaly not sure but some ppl in EN thread said 60% x6

Archer need at leasy 390 atk to double shot kill it (with prince buff)
^ Cross that... now we have CC archer 1.1x dmg to flyer i think it could be lower
if you worried feel free to deploy more unit, care that eye have high MR

I suggest not touching demon crystals until the 8 charisma map becomes something you can do without worry. Saki isnt that good of a ninja that you would need to outright rush her when starting out. Her cost is too high and it takes a while to get her. I find myself using the silver ninja that I cost reduced normally more often then I did saki.
On the other hand if you see aa plat elf archer on the demon crystal list I suggest snapping her up as quick as possible.

Well I've been doing the 6 stamina map so far and spent a few crystals on refilling stamina... I'm at the point where I have 140 demon crystals and I'm either considering going for the 150 (for the platinum samurai, or saving for whatever fills its spot), or grabbing mauretta, so the question is how often does that list change? And would Mauretta be a good buy?

U need in order: 1 Spica, 1 Maurette, 1 Shidis (unless u have another plat healer). After that it is up to u if you want to cost reduce the former or get other gold units: ninja Hien (recommended), avenger, angel and possibly a mage-armor (recommended).

This is weird, I don't see those units on my shop... I see a platinum samurai, a platinum sailor, Black ninja (Saki), Maurette, Anubis-looking avenger, The spirits, then a monk, a rune knight, an angel, a healing armor I guess?, a vampire hunter and something with a cannon icon... I don't see anybody called Spica, Shidis, Hien or mage armor... though I do have a platinum healer.

The gold and plat units change every 2-3 weeks (in a fixed rotation). The ones below are silver units and not for sell but for trade, u turn in 1 silver and 100k gold to get the listed silvers. It is not recommended to use unless u really need materials for AW a high rarity unit.

for the trading post... they usually changed every new month, but for some reason the last trading post changed within 3 weeks instead and the bring up the usually 1 gold unit / change into 2 gold unit.
Since we gonna use past data for platinum it will become
Sailor Viera --> Healer Sedis --> Archer Spica --> Gunner Janna --> Sailor Viera...
Unless they adding new unit in it
For gold unit it will be:
Pirate Maurete --> Avenger Zaram --> Ninja Hien --> Witch Ryuryu / Angel Erun --> Pirate Maurete.
PS: I forgot the gold angel name and this is based on google translate... so i better hide before petite found out and scream at me

PJFrost: I am glad it is already mentioned but I will repeat it: don't bother buying Saki yet. She is in shop for quite a while and it doesn't look like she will be leaving this shop anytime soon.
Saki = black rarity = much harder to raise = much more gold needed = higher cost. You shouldnt invest into samurai for same reason. They are quite expensivve in both crystals and deployment cost and at the start you will do much better with having min cost silvers, then replacing em one by one for golds/platinums.
Buying order is also correct. First you should buy elf archer Spica, then elf priest Sedis. Both are platinum so it is 150 crystals cost. Both are elf: their perk is lower HP but really high dps. They will be core of your group soon. Archer Spica provides great dps with cheap cost and upon AW bonus dmg to all of your archers, Sedis is one of the best DPS in the game with skill making this dps even better (with addition to bigger range). Maurette just shines after AW, she is nice but pirate class is troublesome in overall, good in some maps, worse in others, while archers and priest will be used in like 90% time.

PJFrost save your S.Crystals and spend it for your barracks u need lots of space LOTS of it.
Every 20 level refill both your bars. You should not rush for exp once you reach level 64 with the title 勇者.
As for red crystal i agree with all of the post before me.

Considering how the Kingdom's Idol Carrie is no longer available to brand new players, then I'll say that Emilia is a must-have unit to get for your team, since she's a solid front-line duelist, and better than Carrie offensively (there's some aspects of Carrie that make her a little bit better, but most of Carrie's qualities are from how easy it is to raise her as a gold rarity unit). Emilia's skill doubles her attack and defense for a short period of time, and the duration dramatically increases from each skill level, so it's recommended to raise Emilia to at least 3/5 if you want to garner the most use out of her. Emilia's AW ability gives her a 15% chance of nullifying any attack that hits her.
Emilia shares the same skill as the Platinum Heavy Armour Maribelle, so you can also save any Emilia copies from this event for whenever they revive Maribelle, or wait until Maribelle's event so you can raise Emilia's skill if you're too weak, or don't have the time, to farm for her during this event.

I'll also like to add in how Emelia hits a little faster then Carrie. Great for getting the most out of those goblin swarm maps.
