I've been debating this for a while, but is Despia's skill even worth awakening? It's hard to justify forgoing 1600+ attack for 45 seconds, with only a 25 second cooldown for a skill that shortens her range and duration, limits the power, extends the cooldown time and only offers a speedier casting time in exchange.
ちなみにDPSは覚醒前を大きく上回り、スキル時間をフル活用した場合の総ダメージの比較でもスキル覚醒前と比べて約27%ほど向上する。
During the 30 second skill, the dps will be increased by 27% due to faster attack speed. In return you lose 15 seconds of duration and range. 射程(230→172)

No problem if the enemy is blocked, otherwise it's arguable either way.

I read in the tier list that she's only really useful as a black unit thanks to her awakened skill and ability, but I'm having some trouble understanding what her awakened ability does. Is it a major improvement over her regular skill?
Matsuri is decent as a unit, but low tiered due to her performance. The ranged attack makes her like a ninja, but she's lacking in terms of stats. She looses her ability to become an AW Samurai after skill AW. (Though her stats is a bit low to manage that)
Her actual use is her AW buff for melee and x3 drop rate for Plat unit in Gold Rush.

Oh my oh my!
I gathered 100 SP crystals and decided tomake summons! Got 3 silvers (2 of them new fencer), then platinum! Omg, my first summon plat EVER.
Got Elisabeth, is she worth raising? I have high AW Claire and Spica and close to AW min cost Fran.
Next one is gold: Mehlis! Cool, maybe I can cost reduce her. Then nothing, a lot of nothing. Best summons ever!
I know you all are having much better summins all ghe time but these ones are my best since forever, dont break my happy bubble, ok?
Just tell me something useful sbout Elisabeth please.

Elizabeth has Quick Shot II after CC. That skill is what makes her broken. Her AW skill gives her a single use of a skill superior to Quick Shot II before reverting back to Quick Shot II.

The whole ranged damage nullification thing was to nerf Elizabeth because she used to have the highest physical dps in the entire game against unarmoured and heavily armoured opponents, which is no longer the case for the latter.

Flan is good as a ranged tank unit, but Elizabeth, even at full cost, blows her out of the water as far as damage is concerned. The only negative thing I can say about Elizabeth is that the only other character that has her skill is the Platinum Pirate Rachel, who is also a very good unit (if Minerva didn't exist, Rachel would be a black rarity platinum unit). Because of this, you will need to sacrifice rainbow fairies on her (good luck; I hope she doesn't eat up 20 to go from 4/5 to 5/5).

Quick Shot II (クイックショット): (30s; attack 1.7x; attack speed quicker; AS: 29; WT: 20; CT: 40)
Fast Shot (ファーストショット): (30s; attack 1.9x; attack speed quicker; skill changed to 'Quick Shot II' afterwards; AS: 29; WT: 22; CT: 45)

Cursed Bloodline (呪われた血脈): (30s; AT/HP/DF 1.5x; AS: 54; WT: 35; CT: 70)
Burning Blood (バーニングブラッド): (25s; AT/HP/DF 1.8x; AS: 54; WT: 35; CT: 70)

Elizabeth: 390*1.7*3*30/29=2057dps
Flan: 377*1.5*3*30/54=942.5dps

There's no contest concerning Elizabeth's superiority when it comes to killing stuff quickly.

Japanese players call Elizabeth China. I'm not certain what inspired that nickname for her.

Thank you Petite <3 I wilk invest into her Then. Might take a while, I have no spare fairies.... I had so bad luck with SP summons that having one useful gurl from it makes me even happier ^^

Elizabeth's original illustration artist is Chinese. That's the reason for the meme. (Since it was the first time a Chinese artist did the illustration in Aegis)

So close to being able to 3 star the 40 charisma desert map @.@

I'm also discovering the downside to the Gold Rush event. Now there are a bunch of plat units clogging my box and not enough fodder to use them.

I only had B. Iris after building a team capable of completing super difficult maps on their own, but I never ran into any situations where I had to use her old skill twice. Therefore, for me, her AW Skill became a no-brainer since it also turns her into a Super Camilla as far as healing dps is concerned for 80 seconds. Well worth it in my opinion (I might regret it in the future, but I doubt it).

The black unit I'm having a difficult time deciding whether to skill aw her is Immortal Queen Karma. The 5 second WT is really, really bad for how I used her as an Immortal Princess, so I'm trying to find out through experience if she can endure nasty stuff for 5 seconds as an AW99 Immortal Queen before making the decision, since she has a lot more health and defence now.
google translate screwed me up on this i looked at it again i thought her atk went up 2.5x and everyones def went up 1.4 but its the opposite but the only once thing was never even a thought

Box space really going to be really problematic until you can get 2nd barrack...
I remember i always had to use fairy and those unit asap, while also keeping my mail box 40-50 (i'm pretty sure someone have almost full mailbox too)
In fact i still have those random platinum unit, and they basicaly just picking up dust in 2nd barrack now.

Good thing now we still have tons of free SC, during my time before i had to make decision whether to get extra slot or keep the SC for event >.<

Yes Pippin can still heal 2 units during Skill AW, but she does require levels before she'll be effective at healing even with it on. Max affection and AW90 she sits at 320 in her menu stats which pushes her to probably ~400 depending on how many attack passives you have and such. She can push a respectable amount of healing, although you probably will lose out on the benefit of her ability since you rarely run double feng shui users. I don't know if I could give up a dedicated healer slot like Saria or Fedora or B.Iris in exchange for that 2nd feng shui like Mia or Krille.

My 2nd rax looks the same as yours. I tried to clean out as much of it as possible during the 3x/2x synthesis but I'm running out of decent enough units that I can feed them too that I could possibly use (or would even like to use) in the future, but I guess that's a problem reserved for my tastes.

Whoa, nice, I didn't realize she had that ability. I would've awakened her anyway just for that alone.


Thanks for all the info everyone! I think I'll keep Despia's skill as is since Nanally is pretty good at picking units off quickly. I'd rather she do massive damage to tougher enemies for as long as possible.

You don't have to awaken her for that effect. It's always present during Gold Rush events as long as they are in the party for the Gold Rush missions.

Pippin low atk is already been expected as its a fengshui class not a normal healer class, her class cost alot lower afterall.
I should already be glad that the atk multiplier is 2.2x and heal 2 unit at same time, she should still able to reach around ~700 heal during skill activation @ AW50.
As for ability, i know it say all fengshui class deployed, but that doesn't matter as whats important it affect herself thats what important. At least its tons better than AW ability that situational use.
And yes your dedicated healer is already a strong unit, don't think you want to give up the spot for 2nd feng-shui ;) (i though ur main feng-shui will be Mia for that 13%G)
Edit: 1 think i didn't expect of Pippin as a Feng-shui class..... She actualy got quite a high def for ranged unit o_O maybe i can put her in front line ranged :p (i used put this role on G.Iris)

Now then when will aw skill healer / feng-shui introduced.....
I have high expectation for Pippin aw skill as she come from item collection event, which usually give great unit

Thief only raises non-unit drop rates. (Anything on the map that shows 'Unit Get!')
It also raises the difficulty bar by x1.2 atk and hp for enemy. (But who cares with a veteran party? -> 100/2 god tier cares)

You should bother getting thief.... specialy in gold rush :p
their ability also stack with other unit that increase drop rate so can be said its really good on low drop rate stuff (which specificaly gold rush stuff)

Yeah Mia is still my main Feng-Shui that I bring along to everything, my Pippin is only cc40 so she is just sitting in the box for now. I love Pippin's design more than Mia's, but the 2 cost difference seals the deal for me. Mia or Pippin may not be the first deployed healer (which is usually Saria/B.Iris) but she's high enough on the deployment list that the 2 cost could make a difference. I tend to use Mia right now to mitigate map hazards and supplement healing for high priority targets which Pippin can do just fine if not better when using her skill, since Mia's multiplier is 1.8 at max skill and her ATK is only 40 higher than Pippin at max level as well.

I can hardly justify using the 13% gold ability right now because I'm still sitting on 4 million gold since I rarely base summon unless I'm fishing for iron units for CCing stuff. 4 million seems just enough that I can feel comfortable about my spending that I can look towards my other first world problems...like which Feng Shui I like when they are both quite similar into their uses. I hoard gold in aegis like I do for items in other games because I believe that there will be an amazing super deal that's too good to pass up...unfortunately that really hasn't happened but I can still believe it will right?

In the end, you are right that Skill AW might play a part in selection. If Mia get's an amazing skill AW then I would definitely keep her as my main Feng-Shui, but if it's lackluster and Pippin pulls ahead I would definitely leave behind Mia. I haven't run into a situation where a unit didn't die because Mia was healing them. I HAVE run into a situation where Olivia died because something punched her in the face and she was missing about 100 hp that she needed in order to live. She was the only unit that needed healing as well. Sorry Olivia.

Well, I'm going to get a 3-star clear for the current last story mission for the Magic City in 30 minutes. What should I do while Jelius grinds the Iron Golem to dust?

Going to upload it because I have nothing better to do at the moment:


A second curse user would make this map a lot easier. You really need two units capable of tanking 4k damage, and with two curse users it will make it easier to reach the requirements. I could probably make it easier if I put Lucille on the left side once she can handle the Iron Golem with a Curse User support while Jelius tanks the Axe-wielding Golem on the right side, but then I'll need a really powerful support that can kill it such as Hores with her AW Skill. Unfortunately, Hores is not a unit I have so I'll have to think of something else.
