Thought that's what they'd do. Does it happen upon retrieval, or can I activate it elsewhere?

They're instant when you click on them in the present box; they're an item, not a unit. I don't think they have the stamina overflow like a sacred crystal, so you need to click on them at 0 stamina to get the most bang from your chocolate (I'll check and update this post). EDIT: GCWiki puts sacred crystals and chocolates together when it says they "最大値分回復" instead of "最大値まで回復", so I guess you can use them when you're at 60:00 at whatever stamina level for an efficient overflow.

2) Awakening Info (I do have 2 posts for Skill Awakening Info, but that's late-late game stuff, though there's skill max information for post-CC skills for those characters that you might find useful if the Japanese Wiki and Google Translate are hard to understand).
3) Detailed Map Information (Recommended Farming).

The last one is what I'm currently working on when I have more time. The problem with it is that I only have spoiler data for a certain amount of maps, and the rest I don't have any data for, or only aggregate data with small samples, which is dangerous to use since it could be in a peak or valley. My plan is to make the drop rates and math transparent so it can easily be updated if data changes, or people want to pitch in and help gather more data on specific maps.

I actually also able to get some more ppl to played DMM aigis too in other forum thread.
And they all screaming how many account they need to made to get 1st black unit -.- (the 1st 2 summon)
PS: some of them giving accout that have berna (black assasin) / Despa (black witch) to whoever want it...

Question: My friend who just started got decided to use acc where he got Altair + noodle bowl in his 1st 2 summon (dam lucky him )
He asking how good the black soldier though and i totally have no idea as i have never seen her in action, not even those video while i was researching have her....

Checking trough her info stat all i can say cheap HA with deployment regen and quite high hp...
Soo... my main question is how broken she is as a black unit... or she just normal ?

He asking how good the black soldier though and i totally have no idea as i have never seen her in action, not even those video while i was researching have her....

Altair is weird, and shouldn't be considered a reinforcement-type soldier until you skill AW her. Though, I think they did this on purpose, since her role is to supplement your real reinforcement soldier, so they're better at their job.

Her skill makes it so she focuses on defence, and counters the physical attacks of enemies she's blocking. This is problematic because most enemies don't deal enough damage to off themselves*, so there's a likelihood that she'll cause enemies to spill past her despite having 3-4 block, and she won't counter magical attacks. That said, she only costs 15 to deploy, so she's better than a Bronze Heavy Armour Russel (Soldier Chief Katie is essentially a cheaper, better Russel, though Russel still has his uses for death trigger delay strategies).
*That said, she can be deployed to ruin the day of certain boss monsters like Fuujin who deals 800x4 physical damage with his tornadoes; with her black rarity WT, Altair can intercept and deal heavy damage against him for 15-20 seconds.

I remember deploying Lean as my first unit as a new player, so Altair should be a better choice than her. Her main failing is that she isn't a broken black unit that makes her platinum peers irrelevant. Jerome is better for reinforcement, and Zenobia is a death machine that can now attack enemies blocked by units behind her, or above and below her due to the new game mechanic change.

The OP on Himeuta explains Stamp Cards under "Other". Though I didn't add an image for Legendary, but it should be obvious how that works when you understand Deluxe and Special Stamp Cards.

In my opinion she's okay, but not as broken as many of us were dreaming she'd be. (sans almost instant 20 cost, decent cooldown and/or other buffs etc. It was a fun dream while it lasted.) She can tank things normal soldiers would shudder at, but you lose the instant sortie cost which can be a deal-breaker for some strategies. She requires a little different approach to maps because of her overall higher cost coupled with the fact you don't have that instant 15 cost to rely on to place units. However, the cost regen seems good enough that as long as you can overcome the initial hurdle it pays out in the end BUT the regen being tied to the skill means that if you need continued cost regen you have to continue using her skill even when she may not be blocking anything or getting use out of the defense buff. Also remember that unlike the other soldiers where the CT instantly starts ticking once you use the skill, Altair needs to wait for the entire duration of her skill before the CT kicks in. Her AW skill tries to remedy those problems but swaps the defense buff for attack speed and attack buff, grants the normal soldier instant 15 cost instead of the regen, but drops her blocking capabilities. She basically becomes a super strong 2 block Aria at that point but you still need to wait for the 15 seconds while she has the buff on her and then a CT of 30 seconds to get more cost again for the trade off of 5 sec WT for 15 cost. I'm not delving too heavily into the timings but I still think she comes out a little behind compared to the other soldiers in terms of cost.

She's still useful, but I think if you compare her to the other blacks in the pool in terms of usefulness/utility/or ability to become a harbinger of death she doesn't really fare all that well. Would I use her even though I have Aniki and Aria? Probably not, but hey he got the noodle bowl so it seems like an overall victory to me. In any case he should have chosen which black vegetable he harvested more carefully haha...

Totally can't see Altair as broken black unit.... she felt more normal and too unique >.>
I was checking her stat / pro / cons etc etc and how ppl use her in pratical map, but.....
As you said in the end there barely video about her, most ppl prefer soldier as jerome / katie / aria for reinforcement.
Some video show her in action, but those are lvl 99 with aw skill... even soo 1.1k atk doesn't seem impresive at all.
Some also use her to tank boss with non AW skill showing huge dmg it return, but its for fun side not something like key point that only she can do. (in the end they withdraw her the skill duration too short)

Other than that is just huge hp for soldier and how to make those soldier like those skel token (auto withdraw)
PS: the best 1 i can say about her is her ilustration and her sprite looks totally great

Edit: deliver the news + comment of ppl opinion.... and the result is he went emo and restart making more new account until he said get Nanaly or Aisha... (+ if he got tired of it he will stick with this acc, but if he got a more interesting unit he will give away this altair acc)

Edit2: thanks woot5 i forgot to mention that part about increase in atk speed... but it still the same my friend still not impressed and on the way making his 23rd acc atm

Haha the best of luck to him. He could probably expand his black pool to be content with to include Leone and Sybilla. I really want a Leone but I don't think I'm willing to drop any money into Aigis for a while. Maybe that'll change if my lab's publication gets accepted in the near future, but for the time being I'm content.

But he went to sleep now already after 48th try (yup no black unit other than that altair)
so thats um.... 96 try = 1 black
+ 1 more try on that altair acc and he got gold feng shui

If 2x platinum unit in 1 acc he mention he got plat healer (not sure who) + plat male mage (i think its bishop Marius not mage)

Actually, I would be happier if they noticed that Serra's skill broke. (or fixed depending on opinion, but it's quite a nerf) No more instant heal, and won't heal during combat. Only way for her aoe heal to pull off if she's not blocking anything and the whole animation goes through. ~~

At the moment, I took her off main party, need to dig for a new warrior priest.
