Edit: doing the exact same thing with the same movement at the same time doesn't felt the drop will be the same... tried plenty of time already... it just luck

I do find it silly to clear the cache every time because you happen to get a bad result and you want it to be on a clean slate. The reason I find it silly is that you don't know how it will generate the new seed and if the new seed will give favorable results

I think ppl just want something to believe in something that can change their luck.
While we still don't know if this help or not since again its just pure luck... ppl want to felt there is a way or something to believe that they can increase their luck.
Well it same stuff like those thing like chinese feng shui (my grandparent love this -.-)/ statue god of luck decoration (all i can see is fatty smiling old man with big ear) / maneki neko (those jp cat statue that bring in luck) etc etc etc..

As for me i don't really believe in superstition.

As for the event unit....
For some reason there no hype on her , well gunner is old class and i guess most ppl like their Janna more ? (those 1/2 map hit skill and 10% chance double hit)
All i wish is her skill is atk up.... as i need a concentrated firepower gunner more atm

YES! THE GUNNER GIRL FROM THE BROADCAST IS AN EVENT UNIT! She's the one I liked the most in terms of design.

Gunner is a class I don't have and she's cute so at least I'm more motivated to farm the map than before.

That aside are gunners even that great...? Most of the time if I want to aoe I'll just throw a mage in. MR is much less often an issue than def is.

Regarding drops:
I remember on the Nutaku ulmf thread I've read about people cheating on Aegis. If the game was completely server based cheating would be pretty difficult so... I'd say the game probably does a good bit of things on your computer.

For me, it is hard to be hyped about her after leveling up both Zora and Mel to CC60 and getting both of them to 100% affection. I don't mind farming for her, but I just won't have a reason to use her or raise her when my current options are fine. At least she's a unit that I can possibly use in the future since I'll never want to get Janna.

You'll want a gunner when you need the extra range and you need to deal with magic resistant enemies. Having the extra range puts them at a better advantage as far as positioning is concerned. You do have to deal with enemies having defense and you'll need a high level Cannon Master to be able to dent enemies with moderately high defense. It is recommended that you have at least one CC'd Gunner ready to use since you can't rely on a Mage completely.

Gazers are one example where it is preferable to have a Gunner because of their high magic resist.

That's one unit that will break the game depending on what they do with her. If they make it a Premium unit and she has Reinforcements as her skill, then whales win (while also losing money). People with multiple copies of her would probably not cost-reduce her just because of the fact that you can deploy each of them instantly. Two soldiers out on the field instantly is a lot of sortie points in the mid-stages of a mission. Even having one of her would just be game-breaking.

If they make it an item collection unit, then it's the only way to prevent her from breaking the game completely until her revival event. It's doubtful that they'll make it an event unit because it's a collaboration unit, but there's a small possibility that they would do it. I'm not going to put my hopes up on her being an event unit.

MR enemies don't seem too common though...

Well either way, as you said, it does sound like a good idea to keep one around. I think they're still slightly cheaper than mages to deploy? In that case they could still be good when clearing fodder. Though I kinda think I'd be using archers/VHs for that.

I know, IIRC the illustration from 'Wagi' would be used for the unit.
I just want to see the unit for its popcorn-worthiness. Either it won't have insta-sortiegain or the salt will flow.

In my case the main part i want most about gunner is their atk range compared to mage / (old) bishop *they got buffed range+10*
This also my main reason that i didn't bother to AW zora although the boost atkspeed seem really great (and aw stat also nice).
If you wonder if enemy with high MR is uncommon well you right, the only easy to tell is dark elf / demon / gazer race atm + some large enemy, and these enemy (other than gazer) always come 1 by 1 making great kill for archer / VH ( i just can't think 4-8 demon stacked together specialy with their large build)

As whether i'm hype with this event unit... well in honestly not really.
I might hype up if she can help me god-tier thursday, but sandra already stole that role.
Well for now let's see what her skill, aw abilty, aw skill 1st.... If she can rapid fire or whole map range i might consider it (which unlikely)

Edit: i'm more hyped on this gloria... So her skill does 1.8x atk *Plus* 3x if enemy in ground. This will make her skill able to do 4-4.5k true dmg, which can 1 shoot alot enemy (going to try Tuesday god-tier daily with her to 1 shoot the wolf)

New gunner looks really cute and well drawn (I hate Janna too small legs...) but as been mentioned - some of us already have well raised Janna. I am definitelly getting at least one copy but I see this is good time to save some crystals. There are other classes I need more. But! Lets see what skill and skill AW she will receive.

I know that you, Petite, have mentioned Low Cost Battle many times and I'm starting to think about trying it out after reading your past posts about it. The more you keep mentioning it, the more convincing it sounds so it's probably worth a shot. More fairies should help clear through multiple copies of Platinum units faster than waiting for enough Platinum Fairy drops.

Low cost battle is great because it gives much needed silver fairies and much needed affection items at good stamina efficiency. Farming it is so slow however.

and see if running Aigis (and a couple other games) worked fine and I'm just amazed. I'm just kind of speechless about it since the game is much smoother on a beta Android emulator compared to running it in Chrome on Windows. In Chrome, especially after recent Chrome updates, it is not smooth as butter and there can be a delay after starting a mission which is annoying.

Starting the emulator does take some time for me, but it's a small price to pay if Aigis is a lot more smoother. I'm not going back to Aigis on Chrome even if it does start-up faster.

I would run Aigis on an actual smartphone, but I have my reasons not to (privacy reasons).

I can definitely understand now and it is a better experience after trying it. The only thing that does bother me is the sound since it isn't perfect and hearing static noises occasionally is kind of irritating. It could be the app itself or the result of the sound drivers not being good enough. Also, I can record at 60fps because Aigis on Chrome eats a lot processing time for some reason. It was weird that the only game I couldn't record at 60fps was a browser game.

I do have to get used to using the mouse to scroll since the scrollwheel doesn't work.

Nevermind, the static only occurs when I run certain background application. Closing it fixes it and sound is normal. Weird.

They where cheating with Cheat Engine. A memory modifier program, it's like the most basic of the basics when it comes to cheating (without game provided cheat codes, of course ). So... yeah, client side has influence on a lot of things. Clearing the cache does not guarantee anything, as a lot of u already said, even if the random seed changes it could be worse. It is kind of a superstition but I think it works out in certain cases. Maybe when the drop rates or formulas change, u can be stuck with the old value for a while or things like that.

I'm worried that my order will cancel the fanbook since I also added the 3rd light novel to it, or if I'll have to wait until the end of August to receive my copy (usually my orders get split, but I only ordered a little over a dozen books this time after finding out most of the stuff I read is now available digitally on Kindle for PC).
