Nice to see that Fran, Rita, and Momiji are possible to obtain from this event. I'm not going to expect any platinum unit drops, but it would be nice to obtain a copy for either of them and hope to get some cost reductions. Especially Rita since she's the only event unit I have that's -3 instead of -4 or -5.

1. Is it possible to get both Karmas? I know there was a reprint/revival for the event, but I'm not sure if you would only have access to the one you originally got; or only the vampire one if you didn't get either the first time around.
2. Are any of the collection event units 'best/top' units that won't even be replace because they just ooze OPness? Those units being...

Vampire Princess Karma is a good ganking unit. Every team should have a ganking unit of some kind. However, you should focus on acquiring Immortal Princess Karma over her.
Immortal Princess Karma is a cheat character. She won't die while her skill is activated, so you can drop her in the middle of hell, and act as the ultimate lightning rod for the duration. If you awaken her into an Immortal Queen, half of the damage she receives goes to healing all of your units instantly (even if she's at 1 HP with her skill active). No one dies under Immortal Queen Karma's reign.
The Rear Tactician Lian is OK if you awaken her. But most people shove her in Lita-chan's house and forget about her. The problem with her is that her event was terrible, and had horrible drop rates. So, if you want to max her out, you will have to spend a ton of money on an OK unit that's only good if you happen to have other characters with cheat skills (rear tacticians shorten the CT of all skills when they're deployed).
Platinum Princess Claudia is the only character that can deal true damage 100% of the time with her skill activated, so she's useful for quickly killing every single enemy in the game, so long as she can duel them without dying. She needs to be awakened, and have other units to buff her HP and Defence so she can safely fight certain opponents like the stone golems.
Platinum Bandit Imelia is the best front-line duelist in the game for free players. Where Claudia is squishy, Imelia can handle just about anything thanks to her high HP, attack, and defence (her skill buffs her attack and defence for a long duration and then reduces her current HP by a certain percentage which isn't that scary unless it expires right before she gets hit by a heavy bruiser like a fat mummy).
The Black Healer Liana is really solid for an event unit. Her skill extends her range and cures/prevents status ailments (e.g. paralysis), which allows you to use characters for situations you otherwise will not want to use them for (i.e. having Immortal Princess Karma duel the Vampire Lord with her skill activated). After Liana awakens, she can immediately heal all of your units for 900 HP when you deploy her, and when you awaken her skill, she'll also regenerate the HP of everyone within range up to 1.2k in 15 seconds (perfect for poison swamps). The only negative thing I can say about her is that the English version has her at full cost and skill 1/5 as a premium summon unit, which is the most awful thing I have ever seen in this game.

Awakened Black Karma is also great for maps such as vs. Giants because of the healing effect provided to other units.

It has good stats for a ganker but u usually don't want to deploy a 15+ cost unit just to gank, and if u do, u use a valk so u get the cost back on undeploy.
Just wanted to stress that Petite is very conservative when talking about plat Karma, she is useless, don't even ever care to get her (I have both). Although her aw art is really good

Well ... super bandit isn't wrong, but it isn't right either. Skill activated, feed against a bazillion goblin archers and watch the hilarity unfold.
During skill activation, Karma >>>>>>>> unbreakable wall of unbreakableness >>> every other healer in game.
The AW skills really changes thing depending on the situation.

too many of these platinums I could use copies of especially fran since I havent cced too many archers/vampire hunters yet. Rita seems kind of useless since her skill doesnt raise dmg or range and I like her design but trying to make 10/10 skill levels with these low drop rates is impossible just for the off chance her skill awakening is that good.
oh and I guess I premium summoned bashira in my desperate and futile attempt to get the premium black took 13 summons so that further reduces ritas value to me

3. True but the objective of a ganker is to delay a big guy or kill a weak but troublesome one (mages), so not really much use for that magic dmg.
If there is one thing a like about this game is that every unit has its uses. If we want to discuss about her capabilities in isolation, then it is a you say. Nevertheless, something I've learned as a free player is to be extremely efficient (well, I try to be efficient in life too, the way of the engineer).
So, looking at her in context, my arguments include the cost to get plat Karma:
- not extremely high during original event but only by not getting the black one
- a bunch of revival crystals, I dont remember the exact number but it was not trivial, possibly 1 (2?) copy without spending goddess crystals if u farmed the whole event by neglecting at least 1 other farm event for a weekend
Her deploy cost:
- in original event getting min cost plat karma means u missed black for some vials, that sucks, it's really unlikely
- in revival it means a lot of crystal farming
So we are basically talking about a cost of 18 or so.
Cost to raise:
she does not CC so that is a plus but as a plat she is not cheap
So, getting and raising an expensive plat whose job can be done by a 13 cost silver valk (getting 10 back) / 7 cost silver rogue 90% of the time and HA/Bandit 8% of the remaining, it's not efficient at all.
That's why I disencouraged him to even worry about plat karma when there is so much more useful ladies out there.
If I were given a near max cost reduced, already AW plat karma, yeah sure, I would definitely use her (and use the AW as wallpaper, wait, I can do that anyway, *starts googling aegis cg*). Getting and raising her from scratch? not a chance.

Its her awakening skill that fire 2 arrow at 15% rate, its more stable and her base atk is high enuff
Well rita main shine is not her skill which i think i can ignore geting her skill 10/10. 4-5 is enuff as long i dont need to withdraw her and she can still shoot.

All I'm getting from it is beer, the other map atleast gave me a Dorca, so tempted to use sacred crystals. But I'll save those when only a couple of days are left.

on 1st map i keep geting demon crystal only, but on 2nd map i got 3 copy of the valk already (still no diamond though).
As for the sacred crystal i will be spending them on awakening map. While its still 1.5x drop rate, since i dun't felt i have enuff stam / char + crystal to focus farming 1 plat unit specialy u know the drop rate kinda ZZzz....
Btw you also get 1 free sacred crystal from log in 10-15 + 1 more crystal from map completion.

I awakened Claudia today (and while AWing I forgot my total gold left will be 50k.....................) and I have feeling her dps is slower that previously. Am I correct or it just looks like that?.
About gold rush: Done around 30 runs on 2nd map - I've got 2 silver valkiries + 2 Emilia with no diamond ;/
I wonder what to do with Emilia. She will stay in my inv for now and when they Introduce her skill AW maybe it will be worth having her -5/5 (mine is -5/4)... Heh!
I really want Bernice, her AW cost is 24 and it hurts me a lot of times... ;/
