Looks like I'm going to be depending on Monica to get these two maps out of the way before Monday.

EDIT: I'm also running out of room (5 spaces left). If I keep getting gold fairies before the black one, then I'm going to have to make room in my box. I could awaken Karma, since none of these maps drop rogues (though, I still have my two emergency rogues from the story missions).

:Wait I was just looking at the wiki and can't find anything that says the new Black Tactician increases drop rates on Platnium units at all did I just imagine that or what?

It says she does on the event banner. 2x Drop Chance for Gold Rush Platinum Units if you have Matsuri on your team.

I was getting x1 gold x1 plat and a black every two runs from the senior fairy map on the pc.

Switched to the android version and single
gold fairy too many times.

That drop rate for 60/6 is shit should at least give a plat all the time or something.

New map is 80% attack reduction on all units. Nothing is really that dangerous here damage wise. I used Meme's skeletons to test the boss just in case since he looked like the type to one shot units and they can survive a hit from him at 50.

The one thing you do need to worry about is that you have enough blocking since you kill incredibly slowly, enemies pile up quickly (5-6+ blocking in each lane). Bringing along a dancer might help too, even if she only adds 75 attack, that's potentially doubling some unit's dps. Remember that your healing is weakened as well. You might be able to get away with mostly melee units and just healers here, you really need the blocking.

Finally managed to feed the last of my Dancers, got her to -4 cost on the last one thankfully and 7/10 skill, I'll take it. For as much of a nightmare farming her was, coulda been much worse. Decent completion for the amount of copies of her I actually obtained.

It's an error where either you have multiple sessions where you logged in, or the time difference between your clock and Tokyo time is too great.

Try switching your clock to (UTC+09:00) or if you already have done that, change your internet time settings so that you're synchronised from a different time server.


Also, I think some of you are overestimating the actual chance you'll get the black and platinum fairies to drop. The 1.5x bonus is much more sizable for the Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday maps.

Oh god no, send help

32 runs of Yurina's map and i have only got one drop of her... 3 black fairies though.

Princess Oliver and witch despunia mvp of this map burn down the armour and avoid nearly all damage thanks to 100% phys dodge.

Either have lots of blockers or take out the armour asap, would require at least a high lvl princess to down it early I think.

Been riding back from New Year Party with Crow when he was teasing me to do premium summon to get this black tactican chick. Of course I've got crap and I have terrible number of sacred crystals 'cos after first gold he told me "you should roll 2nd time) so I listened him and rolled silver. Then he told me "gold and silver so you will get black now" and of course I rolled silver again. Someone please kill me, I hate myself right now ;<

I have only 15 sacred crystals and still 260 revival crystals short (to get 3 copies of Karma). But I wanted to farm Yurina and Chloe during this event (not anymore I suppose).

I just started this map

Since I made this terrible terrible mistake I am thinking I should farm only second Karma (10 revival crystals to get) and just ignore 3rd one (I wanted 3 to have this 2x 100% cost reduce) and focus on gold rush.

I want Gina, Gold Angel (she is so cute!), Chloe, Shiho and Yurina. That's a lot ;/ but they may be better than - 2 Karma. What do you think?

And please don't tell me how bit idiot I am. I already know this. I will never ever do another premium summ. No matter what girls will be there.
I get: gold Samurai (I hope I can feed her to someone), Khuri (because one maxed out and 3 copies is not enough, eh?) and Pales (this atleast I can use as CC/AW material)

I must have used up all my luck because I am unable to get soldiers as drop. I was able to get a rogue and 2 bandit drops pretty fast, but soldiers are quite elusive. At this rate, I will have to settle with only being able to use Kojuurou and Vincent as food. Julian will have to wait quite some time if I am unable to farm 2 soldiers by tonight. I still need another rogue to CC a samurai so I am prepared to awaken Betty. A mage would be nice as well so I can use the gold mage as food too, but I'm just being greedy when I don't have the resources to farm them.

So many things I want but I end up getting other things instead. I'm willing to trade my 2 copies of Yurina (no idea what to do with her) and the platinum monk for 2 soldiers, a rogue, and a mage if I could

On the bright side, I was able to get 5/5 skill for Gina, CC'd Berenice and Persis, and will probably awaken Claire when Monday comes.

Not sure if happy or sad, completed final map at 11 runs but no Yurina drops. Worst part is I always killed the 2nd magic crystal enemy right when I killed Yurina, so I could never tell if it was a crystal or Yurina until the match ended. Still missing the Vincent/Ada map but the rest are complete. I don't really want Vincent so I'm going to ignore it for now. Already 23 runs on it, doesn't seem worth it.

Well they obviously dont want you to farm the plat units from these maps.

Over 60 runs of the Yurina map and only 2 copies to show for it. I am done so done.

4 hours to go until the next map get the new gold angel and then back to natural recovery farming.

Just noticed the event goes until the 5th so is there a whole day there with no new map?

New map is angel spam, some fly over walls so it's important to have some strong ranged/anti air here. I don't think I ever took damage so I don't think you even need healers. Going to bring along Azami next time.

Chloe after 3 star might cause some problems, you'll need to block her with a decent tank or something. That or put Rikka in her path.

Claire + Spica + Flan/Kuhri murdered everything that came out from the top including Chloe in two seconds flat.

The new map is ranged unit intensifies, bring out your best physical ranged units as the angels have a lot of magic resistance.

For anyone thinking what to farm during final days of gold rush event, here is a short, subjective review of farmable platinum units. Out of gold ones Carry, Bernice, the new Angel and maybe the new witch are interesting. You might want Gina (the monk girl) and Dorotty (the avenger girl). The former however, due to lack of atk, I find very inferior to Rin, which should be coming in revival soon (and is farmable now). The latter being avenger is not high priority in general. Also note that Dorotty has lower attack speed than other avengers and that is a terrible drawback for that class.

Going back to the main subject here – platinum units.

Tier 1

Mariabelle – Mariabelle is a prime unit, possibly even if we put all other factors aside she would be the most valuable target in this event. What is even better is that as her main power comes from her skill, she doesn’t need to be cost reduced much (when facing rush you are possibly better off using Rean). Moreover even if her strength lays in the skill, it doesn’t need to be high level, as levels only increase duration (which may be counterproductive in some scenarios when you want to reuse it later). All in all even -0/+0 Mariabelle is fine. Moreover, we already had her revival twice, so I wouldn’t expect her to show up again anytime soon. Long story short – if you have some spare crystals, can 3-star her map (remember you don’t need to kill the golem for that) and don’t have even single Mariabelle – go farm her.

Ricca – Ricca is both unique and widely liked. You might think the latter factor is not that significant. However, it means that you will often run into strategies based around her and due to first of her features I have mentioned – you won’t be able to use anything else in her place. While she is a specialized unit, she fills three niches very well (good dueler, that doesn’t draw heals, melee unit that has ranged attack, good HP pool to soak hits). It would be nice to get some cost reductions and skillups on her, but even without that she will be useful. Compared to other units in this event she is relatively new, so I wouldn’t expect her revival anytime soon.

Tier 2

Odette – Odette is all about good base stats and this is 80% of the game. Her skill is very niche and doesn’t increase her DPS. Her AW bonus doesn’t help. The reason I value her high is due to the fact that for almost a year since her introduction we didn’t get a stronger AoE damage dealer (though maybe that is a sign that one is around a corner?). Her revival was held after GA version started, so I wouldn’t count on her coming back soon. -0/+0 is fine.

Shiho – Mikos are rare, the way their healing works sometimes makes it impossible to replace them with a regular healer and I remember many pages ago Petite calculated, that she is the strongest burst-healer in game. She was also already revived and she is superior to Kaguya which we might get in future. One problem is that you possibly want to have some cost reduction and skill ups on her.


Tier 3

Bellinda – Just like Mariabelle she is a great unit that was already revived twice so I wouldn’t count on her coming back anytime soon. The reason she is not tier 1 is due to the fact that there are many witches in game that can take her role and arguably Elza from the previous event is a better witch.

Azami – Azami is a cool ninja, but the way Ninjas are used means that silver one will often do well enough. With ninja AW Azami can get lower cost than the silver ninja, but for that you would need to cost reduce her a lot which is unlikely in current event.

Charlotte – ninja-princess unit class is awesome. However quite often you can use a true princess or a true ninja for overall better result. If you have neither Charlotte might be slightly higher on your priority list, as she is one of the few units you will be able to use instead of princesses in many strategies. However if you are already playing for few months you should have Hores, which is on par with Charlotte. Charlotte is fine without cost reduction, but some skill ups are needed (though you can fill them with fairies later on). Main reason however she is not tier higher is that her revival should be coming soon.

Rin – To truly shine you need her on very high cost down and high skill. Without that you are most likely better off just using soldiers. Compared to other units on the list her revival should come relatively soon.

Yurina – Similarly to Odette, Yurina is an awesome unit in term of base stats. 2-block with good attack, HA-tier defense and best Mdef available (after AW. Before that angels come into competition). Her skill is not too impressive, so you don’t need high level of that and since she is quite costly cost reductions are also not a priority. The only reason I don’t count her as priority 1 target is that she is from the second oldest event that was not yet revived (the other one being black ninja Saki which I am not sure is getting revived at all). I wouldn’t be surprised if we get Yurina in the next revival event.

Chloe – Angels are good for two things – tanking magic and ranged damage and superb burst damage. The latter is hard to use and you usually want other units to handle that role. It also requires high skill-up, but sooner or later you will be able to get that from the new silver angel. The problem with Chloe is her poor AW bonus. I have not yet seen stats of the gold angel, but if those are not too far behind, she will possibly be a better unit to invest in than Chloe. All in all Chloe is strong, but if you lack other units from the list you might want to get something less specialized. In term of revival events, she should eventually appear there, but it will still be some time.


Tier 4

Ada – People like her looks, but she is an assassin without assassination skill. She traded that for SSJ, which might have some uses, but she is the weakest unit in this event and you need her at high cost reduction and high skill to be useful.

Thanks for that info dump Crow, I think I am done with this event now.

Only units I wanted to farm were ada (asthetics) and yurina (asthetics and as a unit).

But the drop rates are terrible cost wise considering you need 5 cost down reductions minimum.

Total of,

9 copies of Ada for cc 13 cost (not impressed)

2 copies Yurina from over 60 runs.
Dark knight of rng.

Here's hoping the next event unit is a healer or mage.

More crusaders would be nice though.
