Can I ask what tactics are you using for 50/5 map? (Or should I ask: which noob tactics would you propose to me...)
I did 40/4 with 3 stars and though 50/5 should be possible to do.

(I have only 2 witches and wanted to use mage instead of 3rd one and Anya instead of 2nd HA. All my characters are 50CC35+, except Princesses, who are just 40+) but I've been knocked to the floor around time when wolves came. Then I was just bleeding...

For the better news I just dinged 140.

I assume you did that because you didn't have any other HA's? If you notice, they take almost no damage. The black Minotaur dudes do almost no damage. The important thing here is 3 block, meaning 2 Rean's or even possibly a CC'd soldier could also do the job. The 3 witches is actually very important, moreso for their slow ability than their damage, so even a weaker witch may be better than a mage.

It's the strategy I used and Maribelle and Rean did the job fine. Not sure I even activated or needed Maribelle's skill.

Fruit, I died before I was able to use 3rd witch and any HA (I will have CC Maribelle, just lacking Fairies).

I have lvl 1 Chloris, I can just start lvling her now... Atleast I've got CC food.

This is the tactic that i used as reference. I did change it around to suit with my own units though, especially with the case of Fedora ( Golden healer) placed on the far right.

This is the tactic that Nasu use. It also a good tactic for gold and silver unit only team.

Lol why did you even mention the HA and witch alteration if you didn't make it to using them? I don't even know what your problem is then x.X

Anyways if you can, the Nasu Games strat is probably better, it's what I usually use by default. Even if you don't have the exact units he uses, as long as it's a higher rarity or similar type, it'll work (and probably better).

I watched it and I liked it because it protected the event girl with a HA instead of relying on archers/witch to kill the cyclops before it possibly two shots the event girl. I'll assume maybe that was your problem? Anyways his strategy is a bit safer because of that already (Half way through the video atm). He did get very lucky with ranged assassination though, because of that I can't tell if it's dangerous. If those wouldn't have proc'd (at around 4:35), I wonder if they would have made it to the Prince. It seems like the archers were shredding them fast enough anyways, but watch for that.

The list of things you could easily replace in that video are more strict than usual. Among silvers, Mischa is needed as the duelist type but if you have good plat duelists they could be exchanged. Mischa has pretty high dps for a silver and it's time sensitive (Black Minotaur headed for weakened Prince). She's max level too so be careful there. If you use Mischa, don't skimp on levels. He does head downward (6:55) but it's still dangerous because he routes your archers away from the mummy.

I wonder if they would have made it to the Prince. It seems like the archers were shredding them fast enough anyways, but watch for that.

I think they all head to the bottom exist. Only the earth worm head to the top exist IIRC.

This map is design for ranged units with all the enemy taking longest route to reach their designated exist. Witch + archer/vampire hunter will quickly kill them fast enough to ensure the safety of the Strategist who is the most vunrable character ( Green Oni two hit her, Red Oni one hit her, fat mummy will kill her in one hit if low Hp enough).

Nasu strategy nead a really strong duelist to be able to ambush the real Gozuki and kill it quick enough with almost no support. It rather bit risky compare to the one i used.

If I remember well that video has a free spot on the party. Just catch one of the wolves with a cheap rogue or valk. As Fruit said, the HA are used for the 3 block, not because the black guys deal to much dmg.

The third witch (on the bottom center) can be delayed a little, it is used to delay the mummy. Use your stronger one on the right, the second on the top and your weakest on the bottom.

Anyway is a really risky strategy, the event unit can die easily.

I was going to ask you about that since you were level 140, I woulda been surprised if you missed the Shiho revival or the gold witch from emergency missions (Well you later mentioned having her). Hope it works out for you~ I used Shiho there as well, made me super happy since she's one of my favorite units and I never get to use her because of Desupia taking up my 2nd witch slot forever >.>

If you can 2-star that map, try aim to kill the Gozuki and the black oni, both have 40% chance to drop plat fairy.

Also the key for the strategy in nico vid is ranged unit. I used AW lv 40 Spica, 50cc60 Claire, 50cc50 Nanya ( my strongest witch) and 50cc50 Calliope and 50cc60 Noel ( exchange the third witch in the video) to kill all the Onis and mummies.

I don't like Shiho ;p I ate tons of her copies and this stupid gal is only -2/+3. 18 cost hurts, that's why I stopped using her.

I've obtained Chloris when I had 50CC30 Calliope (with 100 affection) and Nenya waiting for CC materials. So I just left Chloris alone...

I used this strategy and on one of the attempts wolves (I assume the axe-throwing wolf raiders) indeed killed my healer on the left side. I addressed this by placing the leftmost healer only after they were defeated. If they killed your ranged too you can always drop something tanky as a lightning rod (again - by delaying the deployment of the leftmost healer).

I think if you had three stars until wolf raiders you should be fine DPS-wise. Most ogres bypass the NPC tactician and if you have Anya you can just tank them for few shots. If something like fat mummy kills your tactician, you can always fire archer skill and hope for assassinate - after all you only need to 3star it once. Also remember, that tactician skill increases attack of your entire party.

Yeah, mine refuses to go down -2 too.. although I got her to 4/5.

Chloris is a great witch but it seems that u missed the revival. I got her to max reduction (12 cost) and she is awesome hitting 600++ during skill.

I would definitely lvl Chloris during her revival event Maybe someday it will happen...
I started playing 23.06.2014 and my first event girl was Chloe (forever 25...). I've missed a lot of awesome girls (like Sorano...)

Ah damn, to feed Samurai swordsman Kojuurou to Berenice for skill up or not to feed x.X I feel like Kojuurou is rarer but Berenice having little ways to skill up is sad. Gold unit problems, reminds me of Iris. Kojuurou can certainly use the defense boost as well and would be great for my male only team. Wonder why Koju gets 3/4 and Bernice only has 2/3, probably best to leave Koju for that reason alone but eh.

Well at least Enhanced Defense 3 is pretty decent right off the bat, she'll be better than Rean immediately with 4/5 skill (Weaker but quicker cooldown/initial and longer duration). Hope Berenice shows up in the next Gold Rush.

I would feed him to Bernice (I even wanted to do the same, but was not able to farm enough magic crystals... ). How many maps we have in game only for males?

Edit: on normal missions are you going to use Kouuyrou or plat sexy samurai girls...?

I think 3 dailies and 3 quests (or 2, I'm stuck on Great Magic War).

Seems I emptied my luck for the rest of the year after the skill up on Maribelle. I did 9 runs of fairy daily (the 10th crashed the game so I lost the stamina...) but only got 3 gold and 4 silver fairies...
6 runs of 50/5 only got me 1 healer and 2 fairies...

Apparently, all I needed was 5 rainbow fairy to go skill level 1 -> skill level 5. This must be true love. *nods* (Lv4->Lv5 1 try)

For your reference, this is 20k+80k+146k exp in total. Lv98->Lv99 only takes more than 4k exp.
