Rainbow fairies, why you so difficult?

Something interesting about Awakened Units:

AW1 Nanaly can solo Rural gate at the right position while CC80 Nanaly cannot due to the small range difference. (Sorry Soma-chan, from here on out it's a Nanaly game)
Update: The current position only works if one of the iron archer doesn't spawn, need to try the other positions or she's off by one hit

AW1 Kurisa lost 72 attack and 48 def, and yet her dps is still higher on armored unit.
Without Prince: 684 vs. 612 (62 damage difference)

• 0 Defense
  684 * 10 hits = 6840
  612 * 7 hits + 3 hits AP => 6120
• 100 Defense
  10 hits => 6240
  7 hits => 3584 + 3 hits AP => 1836 = 5420
• 200 Defense
  10 hits => 4840
  7 hits => 2884 + 3 hits AP => 1836 = 4720
• 250 Defense
  10 hits => 4340
  7 hits => 2534 + 3 hits AP => 1836 = 4370

Basically, for AW Kurisa, she's noticeably better for any unit noticeable (300~) defense even at level 1.

AW Shizuka ... is just broken. Forget heavy armor, all you need is a Shizuka 90% of the time.

AW Fedora on the other hand is gimmicky. 16 cost gold saint (1 less cost my than 17 Arisa ._. ) is kinda broken in the healing/cost ratio, but loses in terms of burst heal due to skill.
On the other hand, definitely my first healer out on the field.

How many Rainbow fairies did you expend just for skill lv4 -> lv 5?

It almost seems like every rainbow fairy I use goes straight to some black hole or a rupture in warp or something

How many Rainbow fairies did you expend just for skill lv4 -> lv 5?

1 ... 2 ... 3 ... 4 ... all went into black holes. (In comparison, Lv1 -> Lv4 took only 4 fairies) And I finally got lucky with my 5th one after celebrating a perfect drop from 2nd 100/2 and used the completion reward rainbow fairy like a brainless idiot and actually succeeded.

You either get lucky or you cry. More likely than not you cry. Non-event unit should never bother with max skills, it's not worth the waste of rainbow fairies.
The above is logically speaking, when you have a favorite unit, logic is the least thing on your mind. *looks at Shizuka* => *Shizuka blissfully smiles back*

Whoa I don't know since when this was added, but if you check the red gem shop, it says that they're going to remove Arisa and the silver fairy soon.

Huh. Completely fine with that as long as Sedis will stick around for a little bit longer That's like a really expensive Arisa (and thankfully mine is at max reduction)...

I'm still jelly about Karma but oh wells, wasn't around for that event so couldn't farm it like crazy. Such an OP unit for all these tanking events though It probably took me around 8 to cost reduce my Arisa, but she dropped pretty often in events and whatnot so it was rather reasonable...

Grats on 5/5 Shizuka - rainbow fairies don't like me that much and skill 3->4 for Sybilla failed thrice before succeeding. I don't think I'll ever attempt 4->5...

Welp got my 100/2 rainbow fairy and failed a 2->3 on Oliviere...

To get a max Karma, it takes a minimal of 40+ crystals ... *looks away* perhaps it's a good thing you missed it

It probably took me around 8 to cost reduce my Arisa, but she dropped pretty often in events and whatnot so it was rather reasonable...

All I wanted was a -2 cost Arisa ._.

Huh, I guess my sample size is way too small to decide. I've only tried Sybilla and Oliviere. But I admit I do kind of get rid of rainbow fairies as soon as I get them

Please save them for unique skills that cannot be leveled any other way or Lv3->Lv4

The reason is that rainbow fairy success chance is decently high, and some units really require high skill level to shine. Take Uzume for example, the only way to level up her skill is through rainbow fairy or somehow attain another copy of her, and if you have a stack of 3~4, you can go Lv1->Lv4 immediately and have her skill be useful to the point of broken. (Rather than go at it one by one)

Though I personally feed rainbow fairy once every so often rather than all at once.

You do realize that Arisa is unique in that fact that she rarely/never drop from event maps right? XD

I just wanna know where you all get all these rainbow fairies. I've never gotten one. I don't know how many times I've done the fairy daily and never seen one.

Mmmm i guess 2 from past event reward and 2 more for 100/2 mission complete (this event and the ada one). This is 4 rainbows without that much RNG. After you can add the rainbows from rescue mission (did they really exist in rescue ???)

Around 40 runs of fairy rescue nets you one or 2, and then the rest are completion reward or trial reward. (Sorano event gave you 2 rainbow fairy if you cleared just about everything)

Have her in team, she gives a flat 2% boost to all fairy drop, which is insignificant until you realize that rainbow fairy has 1% drop at low level, and maybe 2% in med level.

And yes, the first black wolf is the rainbow fairy

I er, got a couple out of the fairy rescue without Seria so I'm pretty sure it's possible...

It's too bad about the Onmyoji though, that must have really hurt. Minerva on other hand, heh, as if you don't have enough cheat buttons yet.
