I have finally managed to clear the elf event, though I needed to burn through a lot of crystals (both on attempts and to level my party). At the end of the day I needed two CCd archers and a CCd priest.
The priest was level 20, the throughput was not all that needed. What was really essential, was the range. Maybe it would be possible to do this mission with 3 healers instead, but I was actually short on spots.
While Soma remains my favorite archer (out of the two I have. Nanaly, one day I will get you...), the CCd Daniela was absolutely essential in final two missions, with maxed affection and almost level 40, for the raw damage she provides.
There were many challenges that needed to be addressed before I could 3 star fifth map. The right hand flank was very prone to falling (or failing) during goblin archer push. It also wasn't easy to get one of my party members strong enough to solo the caster (and to explain to the idiot, that she should attack the mage, not the goblins running nearby). Finally, the pure DPS requirements needed few crystals of stamina worth of Rural farming.
Party used: Lvl 33 Phillis, Lvl 25 Clave, Lvl 28 Cecilly (only thing that can hope to tank Avanger on berserk for even 1 shot), Lvl 26 Bernard, Lvl 39 Lean, Lvl 36 Doreka, Lvl 50cc20 Alise, Lvl 50cc33 Soma, Lvl 50cc39 Daniela, Lvl 43 Calliope, Lvl 30 Calliope, Lvl 25 Vallery, Lvl 40 Vallery, Lvl 29 Yurina, Lvl 30 Mortimer.
As many people reported earlier, final map was a breeze compared to the fifth one (once I had the required CCs). I used a 4 tank strategy, two of which were level 12 bronze.
Swaps compared to listing above: - Clave + tank, - Mortimer + tank, -Vallery + lvl 15 Chloris (for slow only).

Compared to other results I see I was quite lucky with the Witch event. Out of 6 runs on final map I got Chloris 4 times (if there is a guaranteed drop on first finish it is included here) and Lean 3 times. Hopefully I get some Calliopes tomorrow though...
