Now I wish I could really understand all the girl's dialogue better in H scenes and at certain favor points x.x I'd probably get favorites more though...I don't really have any favorite girls because I don't understand their personalities/dialogue too well.
Ahh, if you find someone whose personality fits your preferences to the point that you want a clearer understanding of what they're saying, I can translate their dialogue/h-scenes for you.

Some other girls with non capital names: 弓兵ソーマ (Archers soma) 槍騎兵キャリー (Lancers carry), 黒槍騎士ダリア (Black knight spear dahlia)
Just as a note, I cross-referenced these names with the Japanese wikipedia and other resources. Though, some names have a lot of possibilities, like how the German name Kaspar is written as Caspar elsewhere. The makers are obviously basing the names of their characters off people from foreign countries with only a few like Hina and Akane being Japanese.

For the units you listed, this is a small list of viable names:
Soma
Carry/Carrie/Carey/Kary
Daria/Dahlia/Dhalia/Dalia

Luckily we're not localisers doing an official translation, so it's not a big deal which of these any of us use (though Flouride was confusing me since it's so far removed from Dolka/Dolkka).

Actually on the topic, I personally use Funes for the bandit Fyu-nesu (フューネス). The reason being that "フュー" is the kana to make the sounds for words like "fusion" and "future", and Funes is the only name I found that uses "フューネス".

EDIT:
The dragonkin king unit in Dragon's Nest (25/2) does a ton of physical damage. So your Prince is the best unit to tank him (though a Princess would be more preferable). I wouldn't recommend a heavy armour there unless you have a lot of them; if multiple dragonkin warriors and the king attack it, then there's very little you can do to outheal them, since the shelf doesn't have much room for mages/healers/witches. I don't have any good suggestions since I had a lord witch, a ninja and a princess that trivialised that map for me.

You had the +5 starting sortie cost from the cash shop and didn't mention it X.X *Dead inside* I didn't even know that existed to watch out for it. 2 hour cost lesson learned...
I did mention it, back when I did the first video for Dragon Elder, thought you have read the description notes. But my apologies for not mentioning it a second time, mainly because my high rarity units should cost 2 more than your silver equivalent in terms of deployment cost. (My +5 deployment cost should be done in 12 hours or so, had it since day 1 and helped a lot in the early game)

On the other hand, I am glad you figured out just varying the valkyrie instead of a soldier first fixed the problem. Especially on just your 2nd try. Remember that your ミーシャ is a lot stronger than a lv15 エレイン and very well done. (900 atk... orz, you realize my bandit was doing 4 damage per hit?)

600 physical or so. But better than 540 magical.
Wiki mentioned that for some people, it's more difficult than dragon elder due to damage dealt. In my opinion doruka 271 attack and Alisa with 314 is easy enough to clear it even at the first try. (Given that you have both of them out at the bottom right)

Order wise:
Valkyrie
Soldier
Prince
Healer
Fire mage
Bandit (possibly HA instead, if you are having problems with the rush, swap with bandit after the dragon king arrives)
2nd healer
Red circle: Pirate/CC archer spot. (Fruit, I recall you have Monica? If you can fit in her some between in between healer and fire mage, she will help a lot)

Note 1: Retreat soldier when you have enough deployment cost (i. e. 2nd healer is out)
Note 2: You might want to reinforce units against the axe throwers at J, especially after the dragon king/dragon soldiers are out.

Tried 25/2, Prince being a lower level couldn't cover enough units to save my soldier. Even though a lot of things collapsed using that strategy, I think the weak point was the Bandit and HA. I'm not sure I can beat this unless I CC my HA, there just wasn't enough defense there. I wasn't planning on CCing Rean though :( I think I'd have to 40 cc her too if I want to finish this in time. I'll attempt it once more with some modifications of my own and see then.

It certainly helps to have more guides and such than just the videos I can find on youtube/Nico already, but I will always have to try to account for my weaker/different team which is pretty obnoxious. There's really no way to know if the differences will mean life or death until I try them, so it's kind of false hope sometimes. Even if the team seems similar, just a couple points off here and there can change everything. At least your guides are the closest to my level I can usually find. The youtube/Nico videos are usually level 100's filled up with rare and CC'd units.

More than strategies, I usually just need to know if fighters at my level are even capable of beating the map. The strategies themselves usually aren't difficult. Seems the little differences in the videos I watched and the guide Dragon wrote this time changed everything though x.X Well a lot of the videos on youtube have a CC'd HA and CC'd Valk and they barely make it, which worries me. That or they use two CC'd or rare mages until they get to the boss, then switch to a 2nd healer. Both things I can't really do, haha.

Rean is very good as a HA, so do not 40 CC her. Her 50CC is needed in the future. Your bandit should work fine for the battle since that strategy involves 3 duelist. (Killing speed is what makes the difference here)

If you want to protect your soldier, use/retreat a rouge instead. They have a cost of 7 and (+3) you can retreat them. But it's your pirate that will make the difference in the end. (Did you manage to get out out on your first try?)
Can you send me a picture of your modified team and mention which units has high affection?

I tried to replace the solider, it's just that I also had to manage my bottom right corner because they were letting too much pass. It didn't matter what I put back there because my right side weren't killing/blocking enough. I replaced my soldier twice with another solider and Carry and it was barely enough and I think I let two enemies exit. It was why I couldn't reinforce the start of the loop with Carry after the boss passed like I planned. I did have my rogue ready too if Carry needed to retreat, but she didn't fall until everything fell...lol.

You know how it is, things just snowball out of control if there's one weakness, and that seemed to be Rean sadly...For blocking 3 units at once, she really needs more defense there. So I'm not sure what to do. I'll try it again and see if I can record it without too much lag.

The only affection not like your image is Fluoride/Dolka or whatever her name is...She's only 73% atm and 271 attack. I also put my Prince one space back and had my HA where the Prince was. So even with all of them up at once it wasn't enough. If I waited to put the HA out, I would have lost before I even got to the boss.

The HA has to be where the bandit is to stop the rush, the reason why is the fire mage's range. If your HA is 1 square behind, then the 3 units the HA blocks aren't splashed by the fire mage.

I know, it was actually a mistake where I placed my Prince, but it doesn't really matter how they ended up where they did, lmao. I planned to follow your guide exactly the first time and alter it the second if it failed (I even put Monica up top and she did like nothing.)

Anyways I 1 stared it this time. Put a 3rd healer up top, Prince in the spot you have shown and all. Why was it a 1 star? Well, because my Bandit didn't catch the dragon boss... He just waltzed right by my Bandit while he was busy with one of the lesser dragon knights x.X He also walked right passed my Prince who was busy... x.x The men on my team are such failures... I don't even know how to help that other than level them more. I think it was bad luck with the combination of my Valk and them all killing/letting things passed in a certain way. So I didn't even get to see if I could outheal his damage this time, which really blows. At least the video is comical.

I messed up early with quick replacements too and let one pass when I was replacing my soldier (My hands are shakey from the cold). I also should have put the 3rd healer up top before I placed the CC'd healer by my Prince. I could have saved my solider/rogue but I didn't know the next batch of enemies would get to them that fast. Since my main team just let the dragon boss pass them by though, that didn't hurt my score any more this time, but I know to watch for it if I reattempt it (Which I will probably have to)

A lot easier to see where all the problems are with a recording, mmm...just gotta deal with the lag. I may just use one of my 2 crystals to reattempt stuff sooner if I'm running out of time. Right now waiting 2 hours isn't too bad.

So I'm -1 sortie cost already which is awesome.

7 level clears, 15 stars. 1 star on 25/2, 60/1, 30/1 (Which I can probably easily 3 star now), the rest are 3 star. Not sure if I should reattempt 25/2 right away or try to finish 30/3.

This is why a fire mage is so important. To clean up the mobs around your duelist so they can duel with the right enemy.

This is why a fire mage is so important. To clean up the mobs around your duelist so they can duel with the right enemy.
See if you can level your fire mage a bit. Switch to valk, bandit, heavy armor, prince. CC healer, middle fire mage, CC healer and see how that goes.

Yeah Monica did like 5% damage to every enemy, it was pretty pathetic. She probably woulda done better CC'd. Yeah again it comes down to needing a stronger mage...Maybe even getting him up a few levels from 40 will help, that's about all I can afford to do atm before my energy regens. Man when I finally get a spare mage to CC him, I'll be so happy.

I almost did that too, the downsides of using two monitors, sometimes I don't notice I still have the other window active. Rural Gate is too hard.

Spend 3 goddess crystal for 1.5x heal boost. Use black rogue to tank the top dragon mage, princess for the bottom
Improve your healer/get another cc healer. The minimal requirement for the 20/2 stage is a single CC healer with 300+ atk (and another non-cc with 250+ atk), don't bother otherwise.
You can find a video of me playing it a few pages back. But note that I have +5 deployment cost & -30% magic damage both up. (My healer is also 250 atk and 200 atk respectively, which compensates for the -30% magic)

Overall, I find your level too well distributed, you need to focus on key units more.
Healer, HA, witch, fire mage, duelist (princess), are the main focus in no particular order. This event is extremely demanding of your CC healer and regular healer.

I almost did that too, the downsides of using two monitors, sometimes I don't notice I still have the other window active. Rural Gate is too hard.
The only mission I consistently fail every so often even after I cleared it 3 star the first time. The only other mission with this difficult was dragon king 2 a week ago.

Rural is also the only map I am grinding sometimes for 4 hours straight and still couldn't finish the map. Argh, the difficulty level of being a good farmer is too high.

*laughs* everything is true, but I find the above funny.

Alright, stamina regained, check back in 1/2 hour, I should have the video for Map 7 up for you. Checking to see if that strategy works with valk, bandit, HA, prince. (Note my prince has a noticeable 66 more attack, and +5 deployment cost)

We've been talking about it a lot thankfully. Really you want at least two CC'd healers with 250-300ish healing and the 3 crystal 30% healing buff. I don't think your gold healer is up to standard needed to clear it. The rest of your fighters are quite different than mine, so I'm not sure if there's a quick replacement for what I used in there. It seems you don't have many strong duelists though and you probably want 2-3 there with high hp (Valks and Bandits) for the dragon mages.

Oh I missed your Princess, you lucky bastard. I'm not sure how reliable your rogue will be up there since apparently they can't dodge the dragon mages, you'll need a lot of healing on them and I hope she has high favor for you, she needs the hp to survive as well. All your levels are kind of low. You'd really do much better raising your Princess and another duelist to like 40.

Yeah, I'm trying to level up a silver healer since I don't have a spare silver mage for CCing a gold healer atm. Too bad assassins can't assassinate the mages or king. I'd probably be ok if they could!


Edit: BTW, I don't see anything called Rural Gate on the Wiki. Which one is that? I usually just do Watchtower. With exp buff I get 429 exp per run and 2900ish gold with gold bonus, along with up to 5 guys all lvl 5 (including a bronze guy).

That strategy failed epically, cc healer couldn't reach the prince. I in fact failed the mission because my fire mage couldn't do enough damage. *fp* I am just glad you could 1 star it.

FruitSmoothie, go do 30/3 instead. This is likely impossible to 3 star without some major aoe damage boost/a warlock. The original tactics with valk, bandit, prince works fine, just need a warlock with enough damage (& skill activation) so you don't get overwelmed.

Glad it wasn't just my mistake then, since I couldn't tank him that time, I had no way of knowing if my team could handle him. You posted this just in time, thanks. I just got my 2nd stamina point back. Well I guess I'll be waiting another hour for 30/3 now.

I think I can at least get -3 sortie cost, I'm not sure about the 23/27 stars, that seems rough. Echidna better be a boss.

Yup, it definitely is rough. This 2ndary party couldn't beat it all due to lack of a warlock. 3 cost reduction imo is good enough. Mind you, 4 will always be better, but even Ashurmen's Aria is only -1 cost cost (12 versus 13)
If you got -3 sortie, at least you can be proud of the fact that you have beaten him during your first event. (Though technically that's maribelle for us two)

For 30/3, note 2 things, I have 30% damage reduction, this means that my mage lasts longer than she should. You need to reinforce the 2nd healer earlier (Has to be your best healer Alisa) rather than later. Also, you need enough damage from your fire mage at the bottom right to 2 hitko the axe thrower, (300 damage required from the fire mage)

Fortunately, you should already have 300 damage from your silver fire mage, if not level him to lv35 before attempting the 30/3 map.

Also, retreat the archer if you have to, do not hesitate if she is are about to die. (reinforce the 3rd healer earlier rather than later) Your soma should be able to down the green dragon mages at the left, and this part is quite important. (Notice how little hp I had left on my left side, soma lv30 with good affection will do the job much better than the gold archer I used)

I accidentally let my charisma accumulate from doing Dark World, so I decided to try Royal Castle Reclamation to verify the current capability of my party.

Somehow, I lucked out and got the variant that didn't spawn the early dark armour, and managed to get through the early part without a single enemy sneaking through thanks to my elite Hector soldier—They should do an event where the ultimate goal is to survive Hell Gate (地獄の門), so you can get the materials to class-change Hector into Obsidian Hector, whose skill just kills monsters dead always, or something else incredibly juvenile.

The lich proved to be quite underwhelming. Lord Witch Adelle and Warlock Mehlis were rapidly heating up and cooling down the poor thing to the point that its atomic structure became so brittle that it shattered before it was even able to reach Princess Lilia.

Well, even though he killed the lich and reclaimed the castle, the Prince still hasn't found the spot where the lich hid its soul, so he's going to have to occasionally fumigate the castle to force the newly revived lich and its horde of summoned devils outside to be slaughtered over and over.

Now I'm imagining the map Ashurman mentioned earlier has its 3 liches waltzing abreast with ever-pensive smirks down a runway.
