There really aren't duelists that match them because of their extremely quick attack speed and good defense/hp for their cost.

Actually princess' attack speed is quite slow. (2nd slowest, faster attack speed than only a bandit)
The important part is not the defense or hp either, it's the fact their attack are considered magical. Yes, they ignore defense.

Hence, regardless of how good a valkyrie, when your enemy has like 370 defense, a princess does more when near the same level/rarity.

Mischa is really good as a valkyrie with cost reduction due to her affection boost. You chose the right silver valkyrie to level.

Maybe I can finally 50cc my gold one, she'd be a bit closer.

The gold one you get for free is considered the worst valkyrie in game due to affection (hp) and cost (+2) (But she does have her fans, though I am not one of them)
Hence, you should really 50cc witch/fire mage/healer instead imo.

Oh yeah my bad, I read their attack speed backwards. They are beastly damage dealers x.X Just watching them rip up boss mobs like they're nothing...bldsflgdsfg.

Yeah I noticed she had really amazing attack even unevolved thanks to her favor bonus, I think I asked for opinions on it earlier in the thread as well before I understood the importance of stats as well as I do now. Even at level 40 she does really well against any non boss mobs but now that I kind of finished as much as I can in this event, I need to focus on somebody stronger (50 ccing my Lancers Carry). I haven't farmed gold fairies yet, should be interesting.

Just saw your edit. The problem is that although she may not be very good for her cost, she's still much stronger overall than any of my other physical duelists can be. So if I want someone who can tank/kill a event boss next time, I need her. Mischa won't cut it even if I ruin her cost and CC her with her stats/skill. I do have Iris to also 50 CC, but if this new girl is a healer as well, I'm going to have her to level as well.

I haven't farmed gold fairies yet, should be interesting.

Just twice as hard as silver due to 2 stamina required.

Lancer Carry's affection bonus made a lot of people cry. If Carry's affection bonus is attack, than she's one of the best valkyrie for status/cost ratio. Unfortunately, it's hp, so people shed tears and went "no wonder the gold unit was given for free."

Then again, if you are CCing carry to take down bosses, remember you don't need to give her affection and can focus on other damage dealing units first. (First got for all the ranged units, especially healer & witch, not so much archer and mage)

I really hope it's not another healer, but it probably is. At the moment, I have 2 CC healer (1 gold 50CC, 1 silver 30CC) and 2 non-cc healer (1 gold, and the same silver this time going for 50cc) If I get another healer, I am going to bash head against walls. No party in this game needs 5 healers ok? D: 3 is the max, usually a pair of CC healer is enough.

I still don't have another mage/witch to CC them, so for now I just have them at 30-40 waiting. Spending all the time to get them to 50 right now when I can't cc them would be bad.

Same on healer...A healer is the absolute last thing I need right now. Well I wouldn't like another soldier or bandit either, but that's just preference.

Gacha plays nice if you don't play it for a while and then return to try it out. (Tsun tsun dere tsun dere tsun tsun) As for me, I am stopping putting money in this game until the management do something about the black dragon soldier or I finish nibbling on all the units I stacked up.

One nice thing to note:
The first skill boost is guaranteed. The first cost reduction is close to guaranteed. (I failed maybe once out of 9/10 tries? I cannot remember actually failing though, but you can definitely count on it being successful) But did fail quite often on the 2nd cost reduction, less than 50% chance on the 2nd one. Hence go for the first cost reduction.

Attack Boost III:
Lv1 1.3x ATK boost: 50CC-> 1 = 461 ... 50CC-> 60 = 560 ATK

If you are not even a huge hurry, I would suggest taking the time to CC the 2nd carry (you get 2 silver valks named エレイン that can be used for this), that 10% is quite noticeable.

Update: I have an example of the above:
大盾の乙女ベルニス Gold Rarity Heavy Armor.
50CC->30 (using 鋼鉄の女レアン)
30CC->21 (using 鋼鉄の女レアン again, kinda costy I know)

Then I combined the 50CC with the 30CC & 3 gold fairies and got
Lv30->Lv41, cost reduction by 1, skill boost by 1. It was definitely worth it in my book.

Managed to finish all the event maps myself disappointed that I can't get the dragon princess because of requiring the previous events unit but I'm hoping the gold dragon is a mage type either aoe or single target.

Congratulations, glad to hear it. I am hoping the gold dragon is a mage type as well, preferably with an aoe buff. (Hoping for too much I know)

Right now I am trying to complete the drops. But they aren't cooperating.
I have run Event map 7 at least 5 times (not really interested in the platinum fairy) and Event map at least 12 times (very interested in the black fairy) and all I got was bronze dragon soldiers.

Drop rate brought me to tears, I don't think I am going to bother with farming for magic crystals. orz

FruitSmoothie like i say in previous post i have princess but nearly never deploy her. So you can easily play without princess, they are just damage dealer.
I hope for you we can get another gold rush event or an event with a witch or mage in reward (but there are allready 2 event witch and 1 sort of event mage).

And of course may the 5 crystal gacha be with you !

560 damage broken at Lv33 and going for 600. Not sure if Mehlis can break 600 damage without Prince's 19% buff though.

In terms of DMM games, I am currently looking more friend requests, please add ダラア if you are currently playing Aegis.
Just note that Aegis is indeed a single player game. (Unless they choose to add "guest" unit in the future) Hence you will need to do 友達検索 / 友達申請 in the main page as shown in the below screenshot.

Guest unit though, woulda been awesome. I could just lend FruitSmoothie my Lv55 Lilia, and all his worries with the princess woulda been gone. Then steal Ashurmen's Bashira for the magic crystal solo map.

Update: I had 275k gold on Monday after the gold event...

I was on the top of the world, leveling units from Lv1 to Lv25 using black units without a hint of stopping, they barely scratched my gigantic bank.

Then I got my black unit from Lv25 to Lv40 using bronze units. Then it hit me. I was down to 75k gold. And reality came crashing down. And cruel was reality when you realize exactly how poor you have become. *tears*

Update 2: Just did a basic gacha, and out came Valerie-aniki. I took a blow to the heart on seeing him. Jeeze, I need a Platinum mage, that's my 5th one in storage (most of them being from story missions).

Doesn't work that way, but if you have been doing too many of them, they tend to give you a chain of silvers. (Experienced it the hard way)

I would suggest just do 2/3 in a row every week/month depending on your financial situation. Just remember that until you get to late game, gold rarity is the best due to easy CC and access to gold fairies. (Platinum fairies drop rate is 25% on a 3 stamina map, compared to 50%+ on a 2 stamina map)

Platinum only overtake CC gold rarity only when they are CCed. Black rarity is a different story though. They are balance breakers.

I had issue playing this game with firefox bugs out and lags alot soon as I tried it with google chrome thought it ran perfectly only thing I use chrome for is playing this lol.

Also scored the black single target witch earlier I can agree black units are game breakers she can use her ability 1 second after you first deploy her crazy op.

Congrats, that's one of the black units I have been looking for myself. But to be honest, I woulda been happy with a gold or plat witch. (Only thing I got right now is 50CC->30 silver witch with 4/5 skill, -2 cost.) Needless to say, I haven't gotten a single gold/plat witch yet *fp*

PS: The preparation time is actually 2 seconds. (Life saver) But the cool down time same as usual.

D: I wasted some stamina trying and failing the magic crystal daily. (3 starred it, but it only dropped 1) now I am going to be 2 stamina behind when fairy daily comes.

BUT! I will CC both my black valk and black archer this weekend. Latest Sunday when the gold event comes along. I sold all my iron units and I am around 110k, should be enough?
They are both at Lv42 and Lv40 respectively, I mean how bad could it... just remembered that Lv40->Lv50 requires the same amount as Lv1->Lv40 is going to bring me to tears orz.

Here's hoping black fairy drops~ So I can at least 4.5x one of them. (1120 * 4.5 = 5040 exp)
