Gah, I've been spending the last couple days grinding Phalanx 2, which was initially generous before it became extremely stingy. The first time I tried it, I got 3 stars, and an almost full set of rewards (bouquet, crystal, ruby, gold fairy, platinum fairy, and the 3-star ruby reward).
It's like one of those people who makes a fantabulous first impression, but then becomes unimpressive during subsequent encounters.
I wanted to get two platinum fairies in case I lock myself from being able to clear it easily with only a lord witch, and a regular one instead of 3 witches. The lack of fairies has been forcing me to combine 4 Hectors, which is cringe-inducing. If I don't get a platinum fairy when the maintenance is over, I'm just going to CC Adelle, and go back to Low Cost Battle for the silver fairy drops to level up my silver/platinum units.
On a positive note, I like how Ninja Hina can cover all three lanes on the map used for Road that Continues to the Capital. She attacks twice as fast as my sniper. So for every arrow shot, she does 464 damage that can be split between two near death units making it so the black armoured knights are the only enemy on that map strong enough to make it to the second lane. If she wasn't so expensive (20 cost), I would almost consider her a viable unit to deploy during Royal Battle Reclamation, since she can support both lanes, while also helping the sniper take out the regular gargoyles.
I really should try and get Hina to lvl 50, and CC her to take advantage of the 1.5 damage bonus for this event. I want to watch her turn all of the unarmoured dragonkin into toppings for moderately priced sushi.
