I don't know, maybe people will dig this game. their last game was a hardcore loli game, and some of the scenes in that were brutal.
It shouldn't, however, I don't think many people on this site are shota fans. I don't think we have a lot of loli fans, and I think we have even less shota fans. I'm okay with a game that has a few shota scenes, but not a whole game of shota.

There are plenty of threads of games with mostly "Guro" content and games about extremely "uncommon" fetishes lying around in here, it's pretty funny how people get used to them to the point of finding them more acceptable than gay underage males. XD

In all honesty, the artwork is sort of a put-off to people not much desensitized to shotacon. Due to the Wind Waker-esque style. I would agree that people who don't like shota, would absolutely hate the people who made this. I know a few who would rather be violent to them.
But still. People are into shotacon. It may be a cutesy artwork, but it is no different than the feelings one would get from Boku no Pico, another shotacon work in the form of an anime series. (Except more consent and less ravage)
I for one like shota but for the reason of reverse ravage. I like "being" a character that is in all sorts of traps and stuff. It is a very delicate subject of "being" someone when it comes to H-games. A less reasonable person would think you DO get your kicks watching the player character get into all sorts of situations. From the enemy's point of view.
While there are some.... game which let you play as a badguy, my cup of tea is fighting or resisting badguys. Unfortunately for some, I do not even mind who I do this as. As long as I'm able to fight off the opposition.

Nope, the name of the artist is Shimuu or Siam, just a word of warning, he works with a lot of extreme stuff, this game seems tame compared to some of his doujins...
