This may be a bit spoilerish, so read at your own risk!

Things like addictions will be tracked in the appropriate perks/passives sheet and their current effects will be tracked in the stats sheet. This goes for sexual addictions and drug induced addictions.

The crystals are needed to learn new magic and use magic, yes. Only innately magical beings and monsters (tentacle beasts, succubi, incubi, nymphs, vampires, etc.) have the capacity to learn and use magic without crystals in this story given their natural affinity for such things.

For those that are not, such as Colette, the use of magic crystals is needed. To learn new magic it follows the same path as the other skills; the more a crystal type is used the more powerful it grows and the more knowledgeable the user becomes, thus unlocking more charges and new magic. So for instance so far 1 charge of the gold crystal (healing) has been used. If it's used more often then Colette will "learn" more about the art of healing crystals and unlock more power from the crystal, gaining more charges and another healing spell. Same can be applied for all other crystals.

Also it should be noted that the crystal does not need to be held (I think I explained this but just want to clarify) but instead must be on the caster to "link" the power to them, and if one should lose their magic crystal and find an identical crystal they won't need to relearn that crystal type as they have already "unlocked" the potential and knowledge within it already.

Explanation of magic crystals, health, ability ranks, etc.

The learning system: What I wanted to do for this is instead of having a level up system, you have a "learning up" system of sorts where you learn by doing. While on our grand adventure there will be many choices, and from these choices you will be able to specify how to deal with these siuations, e.g. sneak up behind evil warlock and stab him through the back with shortsword, or seduce the shopkeeper for a discount or information, blast the cute little bunny with a fireball. In each instance you're using a skill or a weapon, and the more you use it the better you'll be at it. Everything has 4 ranks and they are as follows:

Rank 0/4 - You can't even use it because you suck at it! (Yes I know I said 4, but deal with it!)

Rank 1/4 - Novice level (You can use it, not recommended but given time you'll improve)

Rank 2/4 - Journeyman level (You're pretty darn good. Better than most people in fact)

Rank 3/4 - Expert level (You're a professional and it shows. Others have a hard time keeping up with you as an expert)

Rank 4/4 - Master level (Others are in awe. What you do is second nature and has no equal)

So in short, if you sneak around during options more, or use a bow, or charm, or whatever more often then I'll improve the rank which will make things easier and inevitably change the dialogue to reflect your skill.

Magic Crystals: Magic crystals are my way of introducing magic to the adventure. The only creatures that can use magic without the use of magic crystals are magical beings and magical monsters (tentacle beasts, succubi, incubi, vampires) that absolutely need magic energy in order to survive. Thus if a succubus keeps using fireballs without finding a means to recover their reserves then they are weakening themselves. For non-magical beings such as us, we use magic crystals which are created from magical rifts. They fit in the palm of your hand and, as long as have it on your person, you can call upon the magics inside (kinda like materia for you FF7 fans). Each crystal has 3 charges at rank 1/4 with one spell that uses 1 charge, 4 charges at rank 2/4 that uses 2 charges when used, 5 charges at rank 3/4 with a spell that uses 3 charges, and at rank 4/4 you get a really powerful spell that uses up all the charges.

Now if you've been paying attention (or not, it's okay I understand) I may have mentioned magical reserves, or MR, a few times. Think of MR as mana; after the charges on your crystal are used up then you resort to the natural magics in your body to cast spells. For example, say you have 0/3 charges left on your Red crystal and can't shoot a fireball and have 50/50 MR, well then you're in luck! You can use, lets say, 10 MR in place of a charge which leaves you with 40/50 MR. Be wary, as it takes 1 hour for 10 MR to recharge (if you have Magical Regeneration Decay then it's cut in half).

If a being that needs magic to survive gets your essence (blood or sexes you up) don't worry, you won't lose your MR! Instead it will heal them, e.g. You have 50 total MR then they are healed the equivalent of being in caution level health to barely in fine levels of health, but with Source of Energy this effect doubles, so if you have 50 total MR then it would heal double.

This leads me to my next explanations - Health: Health is pretty simple actually. Think of Resident Evil going from "Fine" to "Caution" to "Danger". Things will get progressively worse for our heroine from there, but I will try to refrain from killing her of and instead treat it as her being knocked out. You get health back by eating, drinking, resting, healing spells, and health potions.

Passives: This one is is what I like to call "passives". These are similar to the powers you chose in the first round of voting in that some effect things in small ways. As you Colette adventures along she may come across people or things, wear certain clothes, etc. that give her passive effects that may last as long as a requirement is met or forever. For example, if Colette wears a corset then she'll have a passive that will lead people to look at her breasts more which would increase her charm, or she could be bestowed a power from a god or goddess that improves her eyesight. They won't be all over the place but they'll be there to get if conditions are met, and some won't be readily apparant.

Inventory/Appearance: I'll list all the things that Colette is carrying and wearing and how she looks at the current moment. Simple as that.

Recharging Magic Crystals: Remember how I said that magic crystals have charges? That doesn't mean that once all the charges are gone then the crystal is useless. It simply needs to be recharge! To recharge a magic crystal you can do one of two things. First: Wait. One charge replenishes itself once every 24 hours due to absorbing the natural magics in the world. Second: Find a magical rift. Get close enough to a magical rift with a magic crystal on you and it will fully recharge a magic crystal. That's all there is to it guys!

I’m not really a mage, but you never know when a little extra juice will come in handy; might as well put the ring on now before I forget you think as you slip the enchanted ring onto the third digit of your left hand, where it snuggly sits over the leather of your glove. You feel your blood tingle in response as you instinctively know that your magical reserves have increased.

With that out of the way you turn your attention back to the merchandise before you, as well as your own items that Charles has examined and relayed a price he would be willing to purchase them at. You figure it would be best to sell whatever you don’t have any use for before buying anything. Figuring you no longer need your old short sword and dagger as well as your old belt, you pull them out of your pack and slide them across the countertop towards Charles. You also don’t have any real use for the garnet copper amulet either, so you slide that across as well and collect the gold in return, now putting you at four-hundred forty nine gold.

“I don’t think I’ll be needing these anymore” you say to Charles, before a wonderfully devious idea pops into your head “and I also think you owe me a little something extra Charles; would you kindly gift me that finely crafted enchanted armor?” you finish while leaning over the counter, your bosom in plain view and an innocent smile plastering your face.

“My dear, whatever could you mean? Not to be rude, but what reason would I have to ‘gift’ you an item after already having done so for another? Make no mistake my dear, you are lovely but I cannot simply give everything away to you; you have me at a loss for words” the tentacle lord asks with obvious confusion.

You smile a little wider before leaning farther onto the counter “but Charles didn’t you say you would, and I quote, be the ‘absolute picture of a perfect gentleman’ should I choose the other method for you gathering my energy. Why, it was only my first time and you were so rough with me; you lost control and violated me mercilessly! I don’t know what kind of damage could have been done to my mind as a result” you finish, putting on your best face of emotional pain.

“Wh- I – but, I cannot simply give you it for free; I have a business to run and a reputation to uphold, my dear!” the tentacle lord responds looking at your pouting face – which you sniffle your nose for added effect – before you hear him sigh in your mind “alas, I did say I would be a perfect gentleman, and I broke my word. Alright, I can further reduce the price but only for the armor!” Charles finishes by putting his tentacle firmly down onto the counter for emphasis.

Not what I wanted, but better than nothing I suppose!

“Oh thank you, Charles! I just knew you were a proper gentleman and would uphold honor and chivalry. I will spread the name of the gallant Sir Charles von Tentacularian III wherever my travels may take me!” you say before leaning over the counter and planting a kiss right above the tentacle lord’s eye.

You think you see Charles turn a deeper shade of purple before the lord collects himself “Yes, well never let it be said that Sir Charles never helped a lady nor treated her with the utmost respect. Now, is there anything else you wish, my lady?”

You point towards the enchanted studded leather armor, of course, before pointing out the leather trousers – which you figure would help protect your vitals from any serious damage – and the blue magic crystal to diversify your magic. You think about getting a satchel to add to your utility belt, but decide against it for the time being. With the discount on the leather armor – reducing the price to one-hundred twelve gold – you end up paying two-hundred ninety eight gold, leaving you with one-hundred fifty one gold remaining. You gather up your new items before heading back into the room you rented last night and change into your new reinforced trousers and enchanted leather armor. After changing, you neatly fold up your jerkin and old trousers before slipping them, and your new magic crystal, into your backpack. You also notice that your new armor doesn’t help reveal your assets quite as well, before stepping back outside.

“Well, Charles, it’s been a pleasure doing business with you, but I need to continue on my journey. I wish you the best of luck in your travels. Oh, if you’re still planning to head to Veilwood then talk to a man named Horace – big human with fiery hair – about his woodworking; you won’t be disappointed!” you say with a wave before heading for the entrance.

“Wait a moment, my dear” you hear Charles speak into your mind “I have something for you” before the tentacle lord pulls out a rolled up piece of paper. Charles unravels the sheet revealing it to be a map of a city. “This is a map of Kilnhaven dear; allow me to point out locations that may interest you. Allow this to be my official apology, and thanks, for last night”.

Charles proceeds to point out important places on the map as you listen and watch intently “you’ll most likely enter from the southern entrance and from there you’ll be able to head east, north, and west” the tentacle says while pointing in the three directions on the map. “East will take you to the merchant’s district, which houses most of the businesses in the city as well as the homes of the owners. Locations that may interest you would include the blacksmith – which has more weapons and armor than even I have, and can repair metal armors should they become damaged – as well as a tailor – which has a wide selection of fashionable clothing and the skill to repair damaged clothes and leathers. There’s also a stylist that does hair, nails, makeup, and shavings.

Charles continues, this time pointing further east “past the merchant’s district is the temple district where the places of worship are for each of the gods. I’ll leave out what gods and goddesses are worshipped for you to discover, but suffice to say should anything ail you that can’t be cured through magical means, or if you seek divine blessings to your weapons or armor, then these are ideal places to go. Be warned that the cost for such things is quite expensive unless you choose to perform tasks or rituals dedicated to the temples’ deity, whom you can seek out the head priest or priestess for should you choose that path”.

“Next is the northern – or noble – district which contains extravagant mansions for the nobles and wealthy merchants as well as the capital building, a dome containing a permanent rift, and the exit through the north of the city. There are five things that may interest you in this district; an inn which also doubles as a pub where you can eat, drink, gather information, or rent a room. In front of the inn is a notice board for adventurers and the adventurers guild which handles all notices, an alchemists shop where you can buy potions, enchanted accessories, and drugs of various sorts, as well as have items magically enchanted, and of course the rift” Charles explains before pointing towards the western districts on the map.

“The western districts house the bawdier elements of the city; the red light district is first with a bordello, a few establishments where one can listen to music and dance, and a shop where one can purchase items of a…particular nature, followed by the slums. The poorest part of the city has more crime than the rest of the city so be careful should you venture there” Charles warns before continuing “other than that there’s another inn/pub mix, though less expensive and with a rowdier crowd than the northern inn, as well as a shop that deals in general merchandise aimed more for the roguish elements of society, still all perfectly legal of course” Charles assures passing the map over, which you place in my pack.

“There is one more thing I wish to give you, my dear” Charles says as he shuffles back behind his counter before producing the ornate box I saw earlier. The tentacle opens it to reveal the emerald lined silver bracelet “I wish for you to have this, Colette. I have no use for it; however, I suspect that you may find it valuable in the future”.

“Couldn’t you sell it? It’s obviously valuable and very beautiful” you ask, shocked, as you tentatively accept the precious gift before placing it in your pack. “It’s not cursed is it?” you narrow your eyes and ask warily.

“Oh no, nothing of the sort! A gentleman such as myself would never harm a lady in any fashion. No, it’s simply a unique item that really has no business being bought or sold. As I said before you may find a use for it; when the time is right you’ll know when to use it” the tentacle lord says rather cryptically.

You nod, albeit a little confused, before smiling and waving as you cross the threshold towards the outside. You notice Grimnor sitting beside the entrance of the tent cross-legged and meditating. He rises as he seems to notice you and bows deeply to you and, to your immense shock, actually smiles widely before speaking in a deep, gruff voice “It has been a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Colette Neilanwittr, and I wish you good tidings and safe travels on your journey. Perhaps we shall cross paths again”.

You recover, but are still a little stunned, and respond with a bow of your own “And it has been a pleasure to make your acquaintance Grimnor bul-Grulag. Be safe on your travels, and don’t let Charles boss you around!” you end with a wag of your finger and a laugh before waving and moving down the road.

You’ve been walking for six hours almost non-stop underneath the cool overcast sky, thankfully without incident. However, the last of your water is gone as well as your dried foods, and you begin to wonder how much farther Kilnhaven is as you reach yet another hill, this time with a downward slope. As you move to the edge of the hill you stop and gape in awe at the sight before you; at the bottom of the hill in the center of a green, rocky valley and surrounded by numerous farms sits Kilnhaven. High walls of white granite surround the interior of the city on all sides, which you can barely see the bustle of activity below. You can just barely see the tops of some of the buildings from your perch, obscured by the walls. Excited, and with a little spring in your step, you make your way down to the valley below and towards the southern gate of the city.

You reach the gate and walk into the city, passing two guards on either side of the gate clad in chainmail and wielding steel poleaxes. When you reach the inside your senses are overwhelmed with what you see, hear, and smell: you see buildings of wood and stone on all sides of you, stone streets, and people of all kinds – succubae, incubi, cat-people, humans, elves, a few tentacle beasts, orcs, goblins and half-goblins, and everywhere in between all going about their business. The noise is almost too much as you hear people walking, yelling, shouting prices and selling this or that, the clanking of metal on metal and wood on stone. You smell small fires burning and food cooking.

You look around to try and get your bearings and notice a fountain directly in front of you and make your way towards it. You look around and pull out your map before looking down each of the streets.

It looks like Charles was right; I could head east towards the merchants and temples, west towards this “red light district” - whatever that means - and the slums, or north into the wealthier part of the city you pause in thought as you note the grumble in your stomach and the ache in your feet from walking might not be a bad idea to get some food and get off my feet for a little bit first, but there should be plenty of time for that

You finish look at the map before deciding where to go next.

Character/Environment Interaction explanation
The Character/Environment Interaction system allows you to interact with the world around you as well as interact with Colette or other characters in the story. Want to have Colette tie her hair up? Then choose this along with the main choices. Want her to stow away a stone, or tie up a bad guy with a rope? Go right ahead! Maybe you're in the middle of a fight and feel that clothing is too cumbersome. You can put on make-up, put clothes on and take clothes off, kick over a bucket, slap a succubus' ass.
Don't go too crazy, though. If it's a bit outlandish then unfortunately I might not be able to use it. Other than that, be creative guys and gals!

Perks/Passives

Magical Sensitivity: Allows you to see magical strengths and weaknesses of beings and certain objects while making your erogenous zones much more sensitive, increasing arousal and pleasure at a faster pace.

Source of Energy: Magical monsters and beings that feed from your essence (blood and sexual secretions) gain more energy than normal from you and also suffer a short term power boost.

Dancer: Dancing comes naturally to you and, while it may not have uses in combat or when talking to someone, you find you can learn dances by seeing others dance or learning descriptions of dance.

Mental Quickness: You're a quick thinker when it comes to solving problems and smart to boot! If you're in a pinch you can easily notice potential escape routes, item and weapon combinations, optimal tactics to attack and defend in combat, how best to enter a building, etc. (I'll give helpful information and suggestions on how to handle situations, but not too much).

Charismatic: If you've got it, flaunt it! You know you're pretty, and you've always been a leader. You can use your feminine wiles to seduce both men and women alike and persuade them to your line of thinking, or you can use your natural charisma to rally troops into battle and improve morale with your strong words and character! Heck, you could probably charm the doors of Mordor open and simply walk in! (Increase Charm skill by 1 rank, people will like you more, and desire you more, you will be more inspiring to others when you speak, you're naturally more sexier).

Feedback: When you get too close to rifts there's a chance that you will lose 10 MR and deal minor health damage. Health damage will never kill or knock you out.

Sex Perks/Passives
Not a virgin: You’ve had sex before, but still don’t have much experience.

Hymen Intact: You still have your hymen intact.

Anal: You’ve had anal sex before and that’s about it.

Oral: You’ve had oral sex before, but don’t expect to work any magic yet.

We should get our bearings first by visiting the inn. It's a new city and we should learn what we can, maybe charm the innkeeper into giving us some food and a bed as well.
Our charm can only take us so far, so we should see if there are any decent odd jobs we could take on to earn a bit of extra coin.
I don't recommend buying anything in the market district just yet, but it would still be good to browse and see what there is to see.
And, lastly, I say explore the city. It seems like its our first time in a place like this, we may as well take in the sights and enjoy life while we can.

So in short, if you sneak around during options more, or use a bow, or charm, or whatever more often then I'll improve the rank which will make things easier and inevitably change the dialogue to reflect your skill.

Magic Crystals: Magic crystals are my way of introducing magic to the adventure. The only creatures that can use magic without the use of magic crystals are magical beings and magical monsters (tentacle beasts, succubi, incubi, vampires) that absolutely need magic energy in order to survive. Thus if a succubus keeps using fireballs without finding a means to recover their reserves then they are weakening themselves. For non-magical beings such as us, we use magic crystals which are created from magical rifts. They fit in the palm of your hand and, as long as have it on your person, you can call upon the magics inside (kinda like materia for you FF7 fans). Each crystal has 3 charges at rank 1/4 with one spell that uses 1 charge, 4 charges at rank 2/4 that uses 2 charges when used, 5 charges at rank 3/4 with a spell that uses 3 charges, and at rank 4/4 you get a really powerful spell that uses up all the charges.

Now if you've been paying attention (or not, it's okay I understand) I may have mentioned magical reserves, or MR, a few times. Think of MR as mana; after the charges on your crystal are used up then you resort to the natural magics in your body to cast spells. For example, say you have 0/3 charges left on your Red crystal and can't shoot a fireball and have 50/50 MR, well then you're in luck! You can use, lets say, 10 MR in place of a charge which leaves you with 40/50 MR. Be wary, as it takes 1 hour for 10 MR to recharge (if you have Magical Regeneration Decay then it's cut in half).

If a being that needs magic to survive gets your essence (blood or sexes you up) don't worry, you won't lose your MR! Instead it will heal them, e.g. You have 50 total MR then they are healed the equivalent of being in caution level health to barely in fine levels of health, but with Source of Energy this effect doubles, so if you have 50 total MR then it would heal double.

This leads me to my next explanations - Health: Health is pretty simple actually. Think of Resident Evil going from "Fine" to "Caution" to "Danger". Things will get progressively worse for our heroine from there, but I will try to refrain from killing her of and instead treat it as her being knocked out. You get health back by eating, drinking, resting, healing spells, and health potions.

Passives: This one is is what I like to call "passives". These are similar to the powers you chose in the first round of voting in that some effect things in small ways. As you Colette adventures along she may come across people or things, wear certain clothes, etc. that give her passive effects that may last as long as a requirement is met or forever. For example, if Colette wears a corset then she'll have a passive that will lead people to look at her breasts more which would increase her charm, or she could be bestowed a power from a god or goddess that improves her eyesight. They won't be all over the place but they'll be there to get if conditions are met, and some won't be readily apparant.

Inventory/Appearance: I'll list all the things that Colette is carrying and wearing and how she looks at the current moment. Simple as that.

Recharging Magic Crystals: Remember how I said that magic crystals have charges? That doesn't mean that once all the charges are gone then the crystal is useless. It simply needs to be recharge! To recharge a magic crystal you can do one of two things. First: Wait. One charge replenishes itself once every 24 hours due to absorbing the natural magics in the world. Second: Find a magical rift. Get close enough to a magical rift with a magic crystal on you and it will fully recharge a magic crystal. That's all there is to it guys!

I can rest later; right now I want to explore and see what the city has to offer! Since I don’t know what deities are worshipped here I may as well start at the temple district, and perhaps find out if I can gain favor with any of the temples while I’m at it! you think before looking towards the noble district then the red light district I’m also interested in finding any jobs and earning some money, and I’ll need a place to rest so the notice board and inn are a must. I also can’t resist anything related to dancing so I have to find one of these clubs!

With your mind made up you roll up your map, place it in your pack, and head off in the direction of the temple district. The walk takes you through the merchant district and all the hustle and bustle it brings with it; you glance at stalls carrying baubles and trinkets, children’s toys, fruits and vegetables, raw meats and the like. You continue on your way, not really looking at anything in particular, however, you do note that most of the buildings in the district are made of a fine oaken wood and brick and are two-storied, suggesting that the places of business are also the houses of the proprietors. You also see the same conglomeration of various species that you did at the front, but oddly enough you don’t see as many half-elves as other races; in fact you’ve only seen maybe half a dozen and each looked to be dressed similarly to yourself which leads you to believe they are wanderers and adventurers. You shrug and continue onwards to the temple district.

When you reach the temple district you immediately notice the change in scenery compared to the previous district; quaint one-storied homes replace the two-storied ones you saw earlier that dot the district, there’s a giant sundial in the road for telling the time of day, it’s much quieter and less populated than the merchant district, but most of all are the temples. As you walk through the district you spot five grand domed temples of limestone and marble with looming archways for entrances and towering pillars that surround the circumference of each dome, supporting it. As you continue to explore the temple district you realize that, despite the houses, the temples are the only real attraction of the district. You decide to make your way to each of the temples to try and identify the deity of worship for each.

The first temple you stop at has elaborate carvings depicting rifts, tomes and scrolls, and an elderly man wearing a fine robe and spectacles looking deep in thought.

Kramulet you think, remembering your history lessons from back home on many of the gods and goddesses of the world the god of knowledge and wisdom, learning, and magic. His temples are known to contain vast libraries dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge on all things material and magical. Many mages and students are drawn to his temples as both Him and His subjects believe in free and available knowledge for everyone.

Then next temple you come across contains more elaborate carvings, this time depicting scenes of war and battle, a gavel with scales, and a woman in full plate armor with long, flowing hair and wielding a sword and shield.

This would be Victressia, goddess of justice and justified vengeance, of battle and strength of character. I think She’s popular with those that uphold the law, warriors and generals. Those that have been horribly wronged also pray to Victressia before embarking on quests of vengeance, hoping for Her blessings and approval of their plight. I heard She also is responsible for creating the rare Spirits of Justice; She seeks out the souls of those that have lived through terrible ordeals and died the same way and turns them into near unstoppable beings to exact vengeance upon those that have wronged them, and to also seek out others that have been unjustly wronged to help them with their own vengeance.

Next up is Lequis, the goddess of love, desire, sex, and compassion. Her temple is adorned with embracing couples, children, and a woman with curly hair that flows down to her feet and covered in a flowing dress, her hands cupped over her heart. You know that both men and women alike seek out Her temples and disciples for advice on courting and maintaining relationships, and how to better please their lovers in bed. The priests and priestesses also preach love for all things and frequently give back to their communities and help those in need regardless of class, race, or path in life. Followers of Lequis are, however, usually very sexual and highly erotic in accordance with the nature of their goddess and have no scruples about trying to bed someone.

Oh, wow. They have a temple dedicated to Dwynvel you think matter of fact while facing the temple adorned with men and women in a giant orgy, and carrying mugs of what are supposed to be alcohol.

Dwynvel is the god of spirits, festivities, debauchery, and good cheer. He is a very popular god to follow; if you enjoy partying, drinking yourself to unconsciousness, having wild and rampant sex, and generally having a good time then Dwynvel is probably the god for you. Because of His popularity and the popularity of His followers, He has many worshippers and is quite powerful as far as deities go. Dwynvel’s clerics, despite being raunchy and drunk most of the time, are supposed to be surprisingly fierce fighters.

You come upon the final temple and admire the craftsmanship of this temple as you did the rest. You see etchings of the moon, veiled figures, and a man obscured by a cloak and holding a pair of dice between the knuckles of his fingers. You recognize this to be a temple dedicated to Yyssbo, the god of shadows, the night, luck, and the gentle hand. Followers of Yyssbo are most often thieves, spies, and creatures of the night. High ranking followers of Yyssbo are often blessed with abilities that aid them in matters of silence and stealth during the cover of night. The only reason why Yyssbo is not considered a dark god – despite His domain - is because He does not condone murder or theft from the needy. As such He is seen as a friend of the poor and attracts outlaws and thieves that usually target the corrupt of society, taking only what they need while giving the rest to the needy.

You step inside the temple dedicated to Yyssbo, wanting to know if you could perform any tasks or rituals and gain blessings and figuring it would be a logical place to start between any of the temples given your skills. Upon entrance you notice two things: first is that the inside of the temple is open and is very dark, you can barely make out the shrines dedicated to Yyssbo. The second is that through the darkness along either side of the temple you can make out rows of doors of various makes, models, and ages. You walk further inside, trying to find anyone to talk to about information, your footsteps echoing off the floor.

“Greetings, sister” you hear a female voice from behind you say, causing you to nearly jump out of your shoes and turn around. What you see – and you are very surprised to see anyone as you are sure no one was behind you a moment ago – is what appears to be a dwarven woman clad in a midnight black robe, standing about five feet tall, almost a foot from you. She chuckles lightly at your surprise before removing her hood, revealing jet black hair and dark brown eyes on a pale, but not unattractive, face.

“Be at ease, sister, I mean you no harm. I and my disciples have been following you since you entered this place and are pleased at what we saw; you have some skill moving in the shadows, evident by the way you carry yourself, and your hands are nimble and dexterous. You have gotten yourself into many places you should not have been, am I correct?” the dwarven woman ask.

“How…did you know that? Who are you?” you say, still shocked at someone appearing before you, the knowledge that others are surrounding you without you even knowing, and that this woman seems to read you like an open book you.

Yet again she chuckles, before placing her hand into the air palm up before curling her hand into a fist. At that gesture twelve more figures, similarly clad in midnight robes and of various humanoid races, step out from the shadows mere feet away from you. “We are the disciples of this temple dedicated to Yyssbo, priests and priestesses if you prefer. I am known as the Living Shadow, high priestess of this temple and servant to Yyssbo, patron of the night. To answer your first question; we recognize those that follow the dodgy path”.

Those that follow the dodgy path you think that’s something Uncle William always said

“What is it you seek here, sister?” the dwarven woman asks.

You take a moment to collect yourself before answering “I was wondering if I wanted a blessing from Yyssbo and the temple, what I would need to do in order to receive it?”

“There are two ways, sister. The first is to make a donation to the temple totaling one-thousand five hundred gold. The second method is to open that door” she says, pointing at an old oaken door in a corner of the temple.

“That’s it?”

“That’s it”.

You raise your eyebrow at the seemingly simple task and make your way to the door in question. You examine the door thoroughly for anything out of the ordinary and, satisfied it’s not trapped, you go to turn the knob – which doesn’t budge.

Of course it’s locked, because then it would be too easy. Well, I could come back to this later since I’m only exploring at the moment anyways. I suspect it may be a tough lock; more than my one pick can handle you think before heading back to the dwarven woman.

“Is there a time limit on opening the door?” you ask the woman.

“No, so long as you can open it then we will be satisfied”

“I have another question, though it’s pertaining to the other gods. Do you know what other rituals or tasks I would need to perform for the others in this district to gain a blessing?” you ask the Living Shadow.

She smiles at your words before answering “I do, for I have stalked their halls and listened to them when they thought no one was around. Those of Lequis would have you mend a broken heart or bed one of their new priestesses. The disciples of Dwynvel would have you partake in one of their drunken orgies. The Victressian high priest seeks one who would avenge the death of a child for a now lonely mother. Lastly, a follower of Kramulet – the owner of the alchemy shop – seeks a willing participant to be experimented upon by magical and alchemical means”.

You nod in response, glancing back at the door and contemplating how you will open it, as well as the new information given to you. You look back towards the dwarven woman, only to be met with darkness. You look around you and realize the other disciples are gone, hidden amongst the shadows once more. You shake your head before making your way outside, through the merchant district and back towards the fountain.

Reaching the fountain for the second time today, you head west towards the red light district with the intent of finding one of these places of music and dance. The red light district is much the same as the merchant district, but with much less shouting and no stalls in sight. As you walk the streets you notice that many men, and a fair share of women, stop and turn their heads towards you and give you appraising looks as you search about. You see a few signs in windows advertising things called “plugs” and “dildos”, while others specialize in “bondage gear” and piercings. You don’t know what some of these things are, but you know what piercings are; many of the people you know back home pierced their ears or nose as a form of fashion. Despite your search you can’t find anything that indicates music or dancing, and decide to ask a incubus passerby as you walk and ask for directions.

“Excuse me, sir?” you politely say with a smile as you walk up to the incubi “a friend of mine told me there are places here with music and dancing – it’s vague I know – and I was wondering if you knew of any such places?”

The bronze skinned incubus lingers on your form with a grin on his face, which turns to confusion at your question, before his grin grows even wider. “Yes, I believe I know what you’re looking for. Follow me and I’ll show you the place” he says before turning around and walks, looking back and motioning you to follow.

You follow the incubus and arrive in front of a building made of wood and larger than the rest with a sign outside that reads “Exotic Sway”. The incubus stops and turns to you with that same grin on his face, eyeing you up and down “here you are, babe. This is the biggest place for dancers and good music in the district. I gotta run, but I hope to see you here sometime” he says with a wink, walking off and leaving you at the entrance. You wonder what he meant as you open the door and walk inside.

Crossing the threshold into “Exotic Sway” the first thing you notice is the dim lighting and gentle red hue that seems to reflect off the surface of the walls. The next thing that assaults your senses is the gentle, sensual sounds of music from some stringed instrument you hear playing in the corners of the room. Looking about you notice circular tables occupied by many men, and far fewer women, as well as what looks to be a bar on the far right wall. With nothing else to do, and figuring you can find out more about this place, you head over to the bar on a mission to gather information. On the stools in front of the bar sit a few men of various sorts, and behind the bar serving drinks stands a human man with short, dirty blonde hair, grey eyes and standing a few inches taller than you. Your approach causes quite a few heads to turn and more than a few appraising stares.

“Excuse me” you say to the bartender, raising your voice to be heard over the music “I was told that this place has dancing? I was wondering what kinds of styles of dance you have here?”

The bartender gives you a quizzical look before you clarify “someone I met told me that this place has dancing and music. I have a passion for dancing, you see, and was hoping to see what dancing styles the dancers use” you finish with a smile.

The bartender seems to contemplate your words for a moment before he and the surrounding customers begin laughing, much to your confusion. “New around these parts, eh? Don’t worry, girl, I think you’ll find your answer in a moment” pointing at the large stage at the front of the room as he finishes.

As if on queue from behind a curtain pops out a beautiful, lithe looking catgirl clad in a small, tight fitting blouse, a too short skirt, and white cotton knee socks. She walks towards the center stage where a metal pole juts from the ground to the ceiling and begins sway her hips as she walks and caress her body sensually, twirling and flourishing from time to time, bending her bending so it faces the customers as she runs her hands up her tummy to caress her breasts through her blouse. You watch in shock and awe as you take in her form – golden brown fur, a long tail that swishes back in forth, amber feline eyes, small breasts, a face that seems to be a mix between a human woman and a cat, and two cat-like ears that break through long hair a shade darker than her fur – as she continues to tease and dance.

To your even greater surprise, and which also causes you to blush furiously, the catgirl begins to strip on stage! Then she makes her way to the pole and starts to dance around the pole, sometimes lifting herself up and twirling down and about it. You continue to stare until finally her performance comes to an end and she walks back through the curtain, but not before turning around with a mischievous grin and blowing a kiss to the crowd, causing them to go wild and hoot and holler.

“That’s the kind of dancing we have here. There’s also private dances as well, but this is the main attraction. Well, that and the drinks and music!” the bartender says with a laugh, pulling you back into the real world.

“Say, you say you have a passion for dancing, yeah? You’re also drop dead gorgeous, and a half-elf to boot which is a rare sight to see. What d’ya say to working here, girl? I own the place and can just tell you’d be a real hit! I’d pay you thirty gold every show, plus whatever tips you make” he says while pointing at a small chest that many of the customers are putting gold into.

You look back at the bartender, flustered at his offer, and are about to tell him off before he puts his hand up to stop you “I’m not forcing you to do anything you don’t want to, girl. Just think about it. You’re a knockout and you wouldn’t be short of coin. If you come back during the night you could probably make double what you would during the daytime. Just think about it alright?”

You sigh before responding “Sure, I’ll think about it, and sorry for almost losing my cool. This just isn’t what I expected is all. Not that there’s anything wrong with what’s going on here, it’s just not what I expected”.

The bartender gives a nod of understanding before speaking “I understand. The name’s Devith, by the way, and I hope to see you back here, girl. No offence intended on my part, either”

“Colette” you politely respond “and we’ll see” you say before heading for the door and back to the fountain.

Well that was definitely not what I was expecting. Still, that’s not a bad amount of money to be made for dancing. Ah, what am I thinking; stripping in front of dozens of strangers for coin, I must be crazy! you think and mentally slap yourself for such lines of thinking.

Your stomach growls even louder, signifying the growing hunger you’ve felt for the last little while as you explored the city a bit.

I guess it’s time to head to the inn up north and get some food and relax!

With that you head north to the inn and notice board for any potential jobs, food, and a place to sleep. You reach the inn, which happens to be the first building on the edge of the noble district, and are impressed by the fine quality woodwork that went into making the large, towering structure. Before going inside you spot the notice board and walk up to it, looking for work. As far as you can tell there are four jobs available at the moment.

The first job is to be a waitress at the inn in the slums for eighteen gold a shift, plus tips. The second job is a bit more exciting; apparently there’s a pest problem in the city sewers – giant rats and spiders – that needs to be dealt with for one-hundred twenty five gold. The third job is to be a nude model for an artist for a whopping two-hundred thirty gold! The last job is to deal with a feral goblin encampment just outside the city for three-hundred fifty gold. You make note of all the information and where to go before heading inside the inn.

Crossing the threshold into the inn you acquaint yourself with your new environment: you see dozens of circular tables that litter the floor of the pub of the inn with almost every table filled with one or more occupants, you also see a few booths lining the walls. You also notice a bar in the center of the room with a female orc for a bartender whom you also deduce to be the owner, given that she seems to direct a few of the waitresses from time to time. Next, and what makes you smile, is a large stage on the far right of the room with a few people playing stringed instruments and strange sticks that rattle as a group of men and women dance. Further behind the bar you notice a door where many waitresses enter and exit, carrying plates of food and drink. Last, but not least, you see a set of stairs in the back of the room that lead most likely lead up to the rooms of the inn. Having absorbed your surroundings you make your way to the bar, the second one you’ve been to today.

“What’ll it be, hun? By the way I’m Yulag” the orcish woman says without looking up.

“Pleased to meet you, Yulag, and to answer your question: I don’t really know. I just arrived in the city and am hungry enough to eat a horse! Do you have anything you could recommend? Oh, and could I please have a water?” you respond while taking off your quiver and pack, placing it next to a stool on the ground before you sit down.

The bartender looks up and is about to respond, but is cut off by a smooth, sultry sounding voice “I would recommend the sirloin, garnished with diced garlic and a baked potato on the side”.
You turn your head to see a stunning, lightly blue skinned succubus wearing a tight fitting black silk dress with a plunging neckline, revealing the cleavage of her breasts that are the almost the size of your head, that goes down to her ankles with a slit on her left side, revealing her long leg. She’s also wearing matching black high heels on her feet. What is most stunning, however, is her face; she has long dark blue hair, piercing red eyes, two large horns that emerge from behind her ears, red lipstick on full lips, and small nose. You also notice a spaded tail that swishes about behind her as she walks.

“My name is Lula, and you are?” the stunning succubus says as she sits down on the stool next to you, placing a glass of wine down that you hadn’t noticed before, and reaching out her hand for a handshake.

“Colette” you say quietly, reaching out your own hand and shaking hers lightly.

“So, what do you think, Colette; does that sound like a good first meal for your first time in the city?” Lula asks.

You take a moment to register what she said before responding “Uh, yes it does sound really good actually. But, I think it might be a bit expensive for me – I want to make the money I have last while I’m here, and I also want a place to sleep”.

“Well then as a welcoming gift your first meal is on me” Lula says before turning her attention to Yulag, producing sixteen coins and sliding them across the counter “one sirloin with diced garlic and a baked potato on the side for the new girl, please”.

“T-thank you, miss Lula. I don’t know how to thank you” you say, more than a little surprised at this beautiful succubus’ generosity.

Lula places her hand on top of yours lightly and smiles “think nothing of it dear, because generosity is its own reward”.

You get to talking with Lula as you wait for your food, telling her a bit about Veilwood and what you’re doing here, as well as the encounter with the feral goblins and even your run in with Charles, excluding the embarrassing bits. Lula seems totally enraptured with your story, her eyes lighting up at wanting to help your friends and home, and putting on faces of shock and worry as you recall the fight with the feral berserker. By the time you finish your story your food arrives, which you proceed to eat and drink as Lula tells you about more about herself.

Lula is apparently an old unbound succubus that had to claw her way out of the fourth Plane of Hell, having grown tired of the constant pain and torment the denizens of the Hells face for eternity. She had to fight and evade countless other demons and devils to escape, and nearly didn’t make it a few times. Once out, she recalls, she wandered the lands searching for a mage powerful enough to release her spirit from the hellish planes and, after many years, she succeeded. Afterwards she heard about the kingdom of Eborthia and its unique stance amongst monsters and magical beings and sought refuge here roughly three-hundred years ago. To try and forget the horrors and atone for things she’s done – but never specified to you – and found guidance in serving Lequis, the goddess of love and compassion.

When Lula finishes her harrowing and exciting tale you’ve already long finished your meal and just listened, never taking your eyes off her the entire time. You remember that you were also searching for a room in the city during your stay and turn to Yulag and ask “how much does a room cost, Yulag?”

“Eighty gold a night for our better rooms, fifty gold a night for our more common rooms” Yulag responds.

You grumble a bit in irritation That’s expensive, at least for the amount of money I have on me right now. I don’t know how long I’ll be in the city so I really need a room, and money for that matter!

“You can stay with me, dear. I practically live here at the inn being so close to a temple of Lequis, and in one of the better rooms no less. It’s more than big enough for two, and perhaps we could get to know each other better, hmm gorgeous?” Lula says, the last of which she leaned in close to whisper into your ear, placing a hand firmly on your leg.

She pulls back from you and gives you a sly wink, turning your face a nice shade of red in the process. You glance down and, to your immense shock, you see a bulge forming in her dress! You look back up to her face, wide eyed, and see her lick her lips hungrily.

Oh boy. What should I do?

Character/Environment Interaction explanation
The Character/Environment Interaction system allows you to interact with the world around you as well as interact with Colette or other characters in the story. Want to have Colette tie her hair up? Then choose this along with the main choices. Want her to stow away a stone, or tie up a bad guy with a rope? Go right ahead! Maybe you're in the middle of a fight and feel that clothing is too cumbersome. You can put on make-up, put clothes on and take clothes off, kick over a bucket, slap a succubus' ass.
Don't go too crazy, though. If it's a bit outlandish then unfortunately I might not be able to use it. Other than that, be creative guys and gals!

Mental Quickness: You're a quick thinker when it comes to solving problems and smart to boot! If you're in a pinch you can easily notice potential escape routes, item and weapon combinations, optimal tactics to attack and defend in combat, how best to enter a building, etc. (I'll give helpful information and suggestions on how to handle situations, but not too much).

Charismatic: If you've got it, flaunt it! You know you're pretty, and you've always been a leader. You can use your feminine wiles to seduce both men and women alike and persuade them to your line of thinking, or you can use your natural charisma to rally troops into battle and improve morale with your strong words and character! Heck, you could probably charm the doors of Mordor open and simply walk in! (Increase Charm skill by 1 rank, people will like you more, and desire you more, you will be more inspiring to others when you speak, you're naturally more sexier).

Feedback: When you get too close to rifts there's a chance that you will lose 10 MR and deal minor health damage. Health damage will never kill or knock you out.

Lore

The Unbound

The Unbound, as they are referred to as, are usually demons and devils that have escaped the planes of hell, either by clawing their way out or being summoned out, and subsequently released from their servitude of the hells and their summoner. Each demon or devil is automatically bound to their plane of hell, so when their body is destroyed they will always return to their hellish home. It takes a powerful mage to destroy this connection to their home and, once done, the Unbound’s soul is now free and is capable of entering even the domains of the gods should their body be destroyed. Most unbound have no love for their bound demons, having shed their chains of their hellish homes they no longer wish to be a part of, wanting to forget the horrors they inflicted on others and had inflicted upon them.

Also that Priestess thing is it only sleep with a Girl? Or it depends on choice.
I fully intend for Colette to be at least somewhat used to sex it is a very powerful weapon one that is very hard to counter and we are FAR behind the curb.

If you're referring to the option of getting a blessing by sleeping with a priestess then yes, it's female. No choice on that one, sorry :(

As for the private dance, maybe you'll have to go back and ask, or maybe you'll have to work your way towards it, who knows? ;)

A3, if that doesn't work try A5, if not then H3 time to sleep in the slums (once it is bed time)
For now: F1 (rich people have lots of shiny things to steal) then F3 (sooo prettyyyy, good thing we're not a magical lightning rod) then H2 (we need lockpicks to open that door in the temple)

Yes.

We will get fucked by things out there Succubi will be one of them heck if possible I would want her in Aura sight for the entire scene if we can see the flow of energy we can likely block it later.

Which is my goal but first we need to get used to the sensations we get from sex other wise we will be come a drooling mess and not get info on the transfer.

At 4:47, it's not late enough to go to bed now, so C + D1, preferably.

The offer of a 'free' room and stuff is something we should take advantage of, but that doesn't mean we should just fall into bed with the person/thing every time for offering it. That said, B3 or B4 (Lesbian; Lula dispelling/not using her penis) are acceptable alternatives to C, in my opinion, if the voting dictates as much. Once we've finished exploring/perusing the city and its available shops, that is. Maybe Lula could come with us and show us around for an hour or so (might make taking B options a bit more believable).

Also, while I agree that getting our character used to sex is a sound strategical move as a player, that doesn't mean it makes sense for the character we're playing to necessarily have that same attitude towards sex. </2cents>

In addition, I see no point in going back to the red-light district in order for our character to learn how to pole dance/striptease, especially if we do end up taking B options with Lula. Lula is a succubus, after all, we could probably just learn from her.
