i had some and a friend of mine told me maybe you can lvl it up and it will change (good guess realy) but i dont realy know.....

Hi guys, my name in game is Innovato. I've read this topic and i didnt see anyone talked about level system in this game work (sorry if I missed ok ? ). Let me tell u guys this if u want a really good cards:
If u combined 4 LV1 UC cards into a LV1 UC++ card. And then u level up that UC++ card to max, for example u will get a card with about 3k atk and 8k spell atk.
But if u level up ur 4 lv 1 UC cards to max and combine those u will get 2 lv 1 UC+ cards (but with higher atk and spell atk than the old one from above). Next, lv up 2 UC+ cards to max and combine those u will get a lv 1 UC++ card (but with higher atk and spell atk than the old one).
Finally, u guys have to lv up this lv 1 UC++ card to max and u will get a card with about 4.5k atk and 13k spell atk (That's 1.5k and 5k higher than before!!!!). The growth rate is different in R and SR cards, the more atk and spell atk the more higher if u max all. Just test on the first red magical girl (I dont know her name). Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong
PS : The biggest problem is u have to use a lot of money and time.

I'm still not understanding how magic based weapons work as opposed to swords. Is there some extra requirement for wands/staves?

hey, you should read this

ok its like this realy(for example)(my english is not even good realy)---> u combine 1 UC with a UC lvl max and you get a power bonus then that UC+(that got the bonus) combined with a UC+ lvl max u get another bonus so u get a UC++ with bonus power

as a note when u combine there is a % in the carts ur gona combine, 5% for any lvl and 10% for max lvl thats the bonus when u "sacrifice" a max lvl UC with a UC(not necesary max lvl)

Ah, I see, so you really only need to max out 3 cards then to get a max rank ++ in the end? Two regular's and one +, and then obviously you need to max the resulting ++?

the boss Pandeon パンデオン　i just called ( why i can't see others do that ) has a really nice R card 探偵少女シャロ detective girl Sharo
she is pretty strong for a Rare card 20 critical 21 balance 20% cast spell and final status 7920 / 24920 magic damage

Ah, oh well, was hoping it was less crazy hard than I originally thought. I think most people aren't calling Pandeon because most aren't on the 18+ floor, I only just now hit the 18th floor.

% to encounter Pandeon is not high, I often encoutered wyverns and dragons, sometimes a whole day with just dragons

What's the best way to get cards to use to level up your cards? Just grinding the early levels over and over? Or just play through and pick some up as you go?

Depends on your preference.

if you have enough money ( like 500k +) you can grind the event floor 17-20 ones they are lv 8 and is 18 energy per card you can level up very fast any card, but also will cost a lot of money so be aware higher level cards means more exp

i can say that chain saw has more chances to do a good damage while fragarach (sword ) has less chances, but do a higher damage so depends on your preference

Hmmm, so it's highest sustained damage versus highest possible damage. Personally I would bet on the weapon with higher crit rate. 1k less in damage is pretty noticeable if you don't crit but with a 40% chance it's a good gamble.

well i'll keep both for now. maybe i'll make some test dmg
on a side note i dont max lvl the R cards for the bonus just because the dungeon bosses started dropin R cards( around here : imageshack.us/photo/my-images/850/uwiq.png/ ). soooo maybe just maybe i hoppe they will drop SR next and i would max lvl those.....and well maybe not and i will end up with some less dmg
