If its 0 bytes again then he is probably uploading another update I think since it is the 2nd time now.

EDIT: The 0 byte files suddenly disappeared on me now. Is the guy updating again or is it a sign that it is finished uploading which i doubt.

Well, seems like I can finally download the files now, I guess he was indeed, either fixing something or reuploading or whatever, but it works now :3

So anyone know whats the update details this time? Guessing its bug fixes that people mentioned before since the update upload difference its pretty short.

I can't really tell what's been fixed, but the script errors are still there, storing items in the chest results in a game crashing error, something about "NoMethodError", the load game crashes I can deal with, but this is rather sad ;__;

Hmm. I don't get any NoMethodErrors on putting stuff in the box... wierd...

Hell yeah, new costumes. This game is shaping up to be more and more awesome. I think he made it harder to reach the second checkpoint at the waterfall because I had to reach level 20 before I could get there... and boy, was it ever a tough journey.

I also think he added some h-options in the configuration. At the very bottom under R-18, you can set to have pregnancy on or off, and futanari on/off. I haven't messed around with the futanari yet, but the pregnancy really fucks you over big time, cause you'll be slow the entire time you're pregnant. The art for it is pretty good though.

Another update got posted, but it's only relatively minor bugfixes. I suppose that's good, on account of that meaning the game is theoretically moving towards being releasable.

On another note: I didn't actually have any trouble getting to the waterfall - I managed it around Lv 7 or 8. Grap a Rapier of some kind and you should be good against most monsters (it gives you a step in attack + additional attacks/counter attacks for having 2 weapons). One enemy resists physical damage, but using the holy augmentation skill fixes that. And basically just use lots of your quick heal skill and stick to fighting in corridors (to prevent you being swarmed) and you should be good against most things.

Getting to the city outpost however, is another matter, given the boss battle en-route...

Yea, after getting raped by the Spider queen a couple of times I realized corridors were my best friends. I almost feel like dual-weapons should be nerfed, or other weapons should be buffed since they're so incredibly powerful.

And what's this boss-battle you're talking about? And the city outpost?! Isn't that just the place where you pick up the gothic dress costume? I reached the point where there were some stairs but I couldn't go further after that.

The city outpost would be where you pick up the Sailor Outfit. To get there, you need to go back to the first set of maps and head towards the city in the distance (there are 3 routes in each set of maps; pay attention to what the 'door' you go through says you are heading towards). As you progress down this route you'll encounter hunters and what I assume is a boss fight against the hunts leader - he summons a load of hunters and is tough as nails himself, much harder than any of the other summoners.

You were right, that hunt leader was a pain in the ass. I fought like 2-3 of them before I finally managed to reach the outpost. I found a bunny suit in one of the rooms I fought them in though, so I guess it was all worth it in the end (unfortunately it can't be equipped in the demo). Also, I didn't know you could only reach the city outpost from the snowfield.

By the way, there's a new memoirs system that you can pick up to see a quick scene of the protagonist. The one in the city outpost is actually an h-scene... kudos to the developer for this.

I noticed that there are 2 different archives where one of them is labeled 'fire' while the slightly older one is different. Thing is, what is the difference between those two? Because if its just bugfixes, he would replace the older versions instead right? So there has to be some sort of difference?

I have a few questions about repairing items, I have a bunch of items at 0/xx durability and when I'm talking to the shopkeeper-smith-cat-thing, the items are listed in the repair list, however there's also something red written in japanese, which doesn't let me repair those items.
Also, is it completely random to which outpost you're gonna get flung to? As in, let's say I'm running around in those mines and I find a safehouse teleport(a hole with a lantern?) and I can either get flung to the rocky area with the cat or the mine dwarf smith place, does it depend on anything?
And finally, when you get to the doors, it has some text and a number next to it in brackets, what does that number mean?

Any insight on these key moments are much appreciated. :3

Honestly, I have no idea. It's even more puzzling because they're the exact same size, too. Not sure how to navigate his blog, but you might be able to find an explanation on that.

I have a few questions...
If the durability of a item reaches 0, it breaks and can't be repaired or used again. This is also one of the only ways to get rid of a cursed item (- equipment) besides purifying it.

This question kind of nagged me for a while too, and I think I finally figured it out. When you begin at a safe point, you'll begin close to it. So certain teleporters on the map will say 'You hear the sound of so and so', meaning if you go through that, the next map will have the teleporter that takes you to the safe point. If you want to reach another safe point, then you'll have to keep following the signs of that safe point.

For example, in the snowfields, there are ideally two possible safe points; one which takes you to the cave, and one that brings you to the outpost. If you want to get to the outpost, you'll need to keep finding the teleporters that say 'You see a city gate in the distance'. As you keep increasing your level, your "distance" from the cave will get greater, and your distance to the gates will be smaller. If you manage to reach the gates, when you start off from that point, you'll be very close to the gates (able to reach in it 1-2 levels), but far from the cave.

As for the numbered doors, I'm not exactly sure which doors you're talking about. Are you referring to the teleporting doors? Cause I've never actually seen a number beside them.

So the, lets say, Robe -4 is actually a cursed item? I actually used some of those since they gave better stats... Does that mean I can't take that item off or replace it?

Robe -4 is a cursed item (any item that's in red is cursed). You won't be able to change equipment whillst it's on, at least until it's decursed or destroyed. On the plus side, I've never seen an enemy successfully remomve cursed clothes either (as in completely remove, not the 'opened' debuff).

I'm giving the latest demo version a go, and this time the crashes seem less common.

Pressing enter will take you to the other pane of the window; selecting items there will get the item out of storage. Pressing the L and R buttons (default keybindings Q and R) will swap categories of item.

Thanks for the tip, I'm still trying to feel my way round the different levels. As I see it, starting players should aim straight for the cave with the cat vendor before venturing through the abandoned mine and the dwarf blacksmith at the end.

I tried to force my way through to the fortress, but the wild hunt boss is impossible to defeat without a combination of high character level and godly gear!

The wild hunt can be done at quite a low level actually, but you will expend a lot of items - although all relatively common ones. Try to find a confusion scroll, 2-3 judgement scrolls and a confusion wand. The battle plan goes like this: wait until he summons/casts the attack buff on his minions, then use confusion scroll. Whilst they're hitting each other, use 2-3 judgement scrolls to wipe out his minions (number depends on difficulty). After minions are gone, hit him with the confuse wand whenever he isn't confused, and just hit him whenever he is (for some reason, hitting someone in the face doesn't clear confusion). He goes down relatively easy like this.

Also the dwarf is not at the end of the mines - the stream is. The dwarf is about half-way through. You're right on taking the mines first though - it gives you a decent chance to level up before tackling the harder bits. And whilst the strategy above will let you breeze through the wild hunt at level 6, you need a lot of luck to reach the city at that level. Much better to grind up to level 10 (minimum) in the mines before trying to get to the city.

I've yet to find the stream, once in the mines I follow the exit that says to follow the train tracks until I reach an exit which remarks on the sound of hammer on iron (dwarf blacksmith found).

It's still luck of the draw on whether or not the necessary items can be found to beat the Wild Hunt, the Hunt himself is only Level 5 but pile on 10+ of his summoned hunters and that's more or less an instant loss.

I see. This seems to be one of the new changes on the demo archives he released. It means distance, so that could either refer to how far away the objective is, or how much distance closer taking that path will get you. I wonder what other changes he added?

Level and gear are much more important. It'd be a pain in the ass to lug a bunch of scrolls all the way to floor 15+ in order to get there, because not only would you have to find enough to last you anywhere from 1-5 fights with the leader, you'd also have to worry about spare equipment sets (yeah, you best believe your equipment's going to break if you don't have something to repair/replace it with).

I'd stay in the train graveyard until you can make it to the waterfall, at the very least. If you can't beat that place with your hands tied behind your back, I highly doubt you'd make the journey to the outpost.
