"Shopping will be a nice change of pace, after the past few days." Terra turned a pained look on the su-ku-ta. "And please, anyone who has fought alongside me can call me Terra."

Including Alicia and the other two, she added "I don't personally know any tailors in this city, but I'm sure we'll find one without too much trouble. Is anyone else coming?"

"Terra then..... Thank you," Chocolate said evenly, having done nothing more than eye the amazonian oddly after she'd decided to join them. "Should we ask someone then? I don't know my way around the town itself either."

"There are sufficient accommodations for all of you, most assuredly. If you would follow me, please? The guest rooms are in the third floor." The servant gives Ahdeah a small bow before turning and starting to stride towards the same doors the lord left through.

The dragonkin idly scratches his neck. "If I may, I believe I saw a tailor shop a couple blocks from here. I'd be happy to show you where it is. Perhaps we could even talk about things other than tactics for a change."

Terra looked curiously at the fourth member of the group. "Hmm... well, I suppose there's no harm. As long as nobody else objects?" She turned to the other two, paying special attention to the su-ku-ta woman - who didn't seem especially confident, off the battlefield. "Though if you don't need clothes yourself I'm sure you don't have to go shopping with us. We have time to meet again before the feast."

If there were no objections, the blonde mercenary gestured for dragonkin to lead the way. Which brought up a point. "And while we're at it... I'm sure I don't recall your name."

Chocolat turned her attention to the only male of the group that had joined the defenders of Guardhill. The female su-ku-ta was noticeably shy around the draconic knight, at least in comparison to how she behaved with the other women. When asked if she minded the man's presence, Chocolat adopted a tiny blush and shook her head, replying in a quieter tone than what she'd used to address the other two female knights; "I would not be opposed to your presence, sir."

Ahdeah nodded to the servant and looked over at the group she had fought with likely they would head to the tailor shop if their conversation was any indication. It wasn't a bad idea after all she only had her travailing cloths with her and nothing for such a grand feast perhaps after setting her gear aside she could catch up with them.

Alicia let out a chuckle, almost surprised by the cat girls sudden change of tone. Well if that wasn't the most adorable thing in the world, she didn't know what was. "Well, big guy, so long as ya don't mind spending more time with the ladies, then who am I to object? But I expect ya to be on your best behavior, ya hear?" She cracked an almost teasing smile at the dragonkin, not sure how her playful tease would be interpreted by the members of the group.

"My name's Kelsier, Terra. Let us begin our quest for slightly silly clothes." Mockingly pointing his hand towards the doors the dragonkin heads out through the main doors of the hall. The buildings near the centre of the town are intact even after the siege, though few of them still have fresh burn marks, though the fiery ammunition has done little to the stone buildings. After a couple turns and not a block from the mansion, Kelsier points out a small boutique to his companions before marching straight in. There are all manners of clothing spread out on the walls to show them off, and an elderly man is sitting near the back of the store, in the process of sewing a blue garment of some sort. As the group marches in, he lifts his head, giving each of them an appraising look. "Hello...soldiers. What brings you into my store?"

Meanwhile, the servant leads Ahdeah two floors up and shows her into her new quarters. They're quite spacious and extravagantly decorated, though a skilled eye would see that whoever did it made an effort to spare expenses, even at the cost of quality. The decorations also appear quite old, and though there's no dust, the air is stale and the bedsheets appear in need of a good cleaning. "We were not expecting visitors, miss. Someone will be here to clean the rooms better shortly." The servant gives Ahdeah a small bow, remaining to see if she wants anything else.

"I see thank you that will be all." Ahdeah waited for the servant to leave before sorting her pack and pulling out some traveling cloths and quickly changing into them before strapping on her short blade. She had originally planned to take a bath but seeing that she was new to this region it was best if she kept with people she at lest knew to some degree. Satisfied that all was well Ahdeah grabbed her coin purse and headed down to see if she could catch up to the other warriors.

"My friends here are looking for appropriate clothes for a feast that we will be guests at." Terra gestured vaguely at Chocolate and the others. "I'm afraid it will need to be done quickly - the feast is tomorrow." She smiled apologetically.

The blonde knight turned to her companions. "Do you have any preferences? I'm sure just about anything in here could be made to work, if you see something you like."

"Uhhhh....." Chocolat stammered in surprise, glancing at the other two knights before looking back to Terra, "I... Nothing comes to mind, really. I'm... Not even sure what it is that Badarian women wear to a feast! Some, ahh, examples would be helpful, before I have to make any decisions." Inwardly, Chocolat was in a mild panic. She'd never shopped for her own clothes before, and her fairly tomboyish upbringing had left her without much of a head for such things despite her gender.

"Count me in too. I may have learned to fight like a Badarian, but I was raised in the amazon and my clothing and manners reflect as such." Alicia said without a hint of shame or hesitation. The proud Amazonian may have talked a big game from time to time, but even she had to admit that she had weaknesses. Hell, those weaknesses cost her a perfect patch of unblemished skin.

The servant quickly leaves, closing the door behind himself. It doesn't take Ahdeah long to get ready, but the others manage to leave nevertheless. Luckily she manages to spot a tailor's shop with armoured people inside.

"A feast, you say... I'm afraid there isn't too much to choose from. I have some dresses that may fit you - or at least can be made to fit - but there isn't time to make one new dress, let alone three. May I ask what is your function at the feast?" The tailor speaks out, pursing his lips. Turning around, he opens a closet, revealing it to be full of more or less complete dresses. Though there is a variety of colours and materials, they all seem fairly basic apart from some embroidery at the hems and sleeves - a fairly narrow design combined with covering bodice and long sleeves. As the tailor shows off different designs, the group can see that though most have conservative necklines, a few sport considerably lower square design that would seem to be quite revealing.

Finding the location made Ahdeah smile. Adjusting her hair she wandered in to hopefully see her battle companions. Indeed if she was lucky she would smile and speak up. "What I miss?"

Chocolat was surprised by the appearance of the dresses to say the least. In her society, women of standing were expected to wear as little as possible in order to display themselves to potential husbands, at least when unmarried, and thus the fairly conservative dresses apparently favored by Badaria society had her somewhat at a loss. Why would they want to cover themselves so if they weren't going into battle?

'Well, I guess it is much colder here.... Maybe that's why?' she thought to herself. The arrival of the last of their company, the strange elf whom she remembered wielding a short spear, shook the su-ku-ta from her inner thoughts, causing her ears to flatten for an instant before flicking back up. She considered explained the situation to her, but her embarrassment rose up and formed a wall that the half-nymph simply couldn't muster the energy to counteract, and so she set about examining the assortment of dresses for a time.

After a few moments, and if left to her own devices, Chocolat would pick out a fairly revealing dress colored in a dark, dusky red with green trim. "How would I go about, ahhh, trying it on?" she asked as she turned toward the shopkeeper, and after a second she added; "And how much are they?"

"You can sorta call us the guests of honor. We're sorta the reasons the whole event is taking place. She just came out and said it, not really feeling the need to hide that fact. But the real question now was just what she would get. Lord knows she hardly had the body for a dress. Her people never really had the need for such fancy attire and neither did she. Heck, her family, staunch traditionalists as they were, would have hated her even more if she had the gall to wear Badarian clothing. But, they weren't here to judge her and she was not going to think about it anymore.

At the corner of her eye, she caught the sight of the elf, looking for a bit of a debriefing on the situation at hand. "Few of us non-natives decided to go shopping. Who knew it'd be so hard to find clothing these days. Then again, you expect an Amazonian to have good fashion sense?" She joked a little with the elf, unsure if she'd get a laugh out of the situation or not. If she did, she'd grin in satisfaction, happy to know that someone appreciated her sense of humor. If she got nothing, she'd shrug and chalk it up as another loss. Another of many.

However, her decision had to be made now concerning the attire. Gods above, just what would look good on her? Maybe she could aim for something similar to what Chocolat was looking for, something to show herself off a bit, something she didn't do all that much. Searching for a get up only slightly less revealing to Chocolat, she found it in the form of a dark green dress with a grey trim. The green seemed almost perfect for a woman who lived in a region filled with plants and wildlife. "Think you can get this to fit someone like me?"

"Ah, hello. A few of us didn't have anything quite appropriate for the feast. We've only just started if you need to buy something as well, Miss....?"

The final member of the group having joined them, Terra turned back to the others. They seemed to be finding clothes to their liking, and there was nothing in the room that would be terribly outrageous at a feast, particularly on a foreigner. She browsed the dresses slightly, but she already had her own dress - brown with muddy red accents - and nothing in particular jumped out at her as obviously better.

When the su-ku-ta woman found something she apparently liked, the blonde warrior wandered over and smiled. If Chocolate was going to try it on then it would be Terra's duty to look her companion over, to see if the dress fit.

"Ahdeah sorry for being late." Looking over at the typical human fare for dresses she frowned. "Well its been my experience that amazonian's have very good fashion sense. I would like to see one of those noble ladies wear their court dresses in the jungle." Ahdeah winked at the amazon before looking over the dresses once more. Maybe there was something she could have altered. She had always preferred simple but elegant cloths unwilling to strut around like a peacock like her sister.

"Don't get me started on those powdered up wussies. The real amazons are the ones toughing it out in the wilds. Not hold up in some city, protected by a legion of soldiers. Sure, they have enough time to get a good taste in clothing, but folks like me are living out in the thick of it. Hunting and killing to survive. No matter how much she talked in general about the nobility of her land the more angry she got. Spoiled brats the lot of then. "But Im just ranting now. Time to see if this dress will fit me. Hey! Can I get some help here?" she said, referring to the shop keep.

The tailor nods towards the end of the shop. "Come this way, please. The dresses are twelve denarii each" The tailor gestures towards the backroom, leading everyone who has already picked their dresses into the rather spacious room and starting to help them remove their armors and get their chosen dresses on. Kelsier stays where he is, seeming rather amused by the amount of bustling involved in choosing the dresses.
