The pink dots on the map in his map packs? Don't pay attention to them. Work backward from the final room following the symbols.

I never got a BGM error. I'd give you where I downloaded it, but I forgot where I got it since before I made the thread. Just try re-downloading it.

i did attempt to work backwards, but in the end, the closest i managed to reach was just below the boss for this map. After which, i am back to the start of the map.

Do you still remember what was the direction that you took?

That's the teleport maze, right? I ended up having to solve it by trial and error, and I had to MSPaint my own map along the way (can't link it, sorry):

S - Start
T - Treasure
B - Boss
X - Teleport
= - No teleport, safe passage
(X) - The correct teleport to advance

From the start, hit any teleport and you'll end up to the bottom or bottom left. Head over to pick up the left side treasure then enter the nearly circled teleport. You'll be to the right side, grab the right side treasure then enter the circled teleport in the bottom right. You'll be in the top left. Carefully head to the upper circled teleport and you'll be in the very bottom room. Take a step downwards right away, and then step back upwards; otherwise you will walk into the wrong teleport.

At this point you should be in front of the boss.

Yeah, it seems that it works for some and refuses to for others. It looked fairly interesting, but I don't think it is worth struggling so much just to get the damn thing to work. Oh well, at least I have Monster Girl Quest.

BGM error for me. I don't get it — I extracted the game properly (retained Japanese characters for filenames) and ran the in Japanese locale and it still didn't work.

Sometimes you need to paste the BGMfiles from the trial version into the full version to make it work

Nope, still doesn't work.
