Her evening and the following day passed by uneventfully and bard free leaving Thera well rested and itching to go. Making her way back to the hall where the caravan should be Thera found five wagons three of which held cages. One of the wagons was piled high with supplies and the last seemed to be have seating. About 10 other people milled about tending to oxen or checking gear. Most of them looked to be wagon drivers while stood about giving orders. The rest where adventures like Thera. Three of them where men wearing medium weight armor while the last was nearly a slip of a girl wearing leather. It seemed things where not quite ready but no doubt they would be underway soon.

Looking at the girl and measuring her qualities, Thera ponders if using her leather protected body would be a good distraction when needed. She talks with the others just to let herself know to them and then departs with the caravan. "Hello girl, i'm Thera. What is your name?" She asks to the girl, trying to be nice, at first.

The three men just looked at Thera as she approached and resumed talking amongst themselves. The girl turned around however and smiled brightly at Thera. "Hi Thera my names is Ann." Sticking out her hand for Thera to shake. Ann was fairly short barely reaching 4'8. Everything about her seemed small and delicate. However she did have two wicked looking daggers on her hips and her green eyes sparkled with adventure. She had brown hair pulled into a fairly long pony tail.

"Hello, Ann, are you some kind of lightning fast warrior?" She looks at the other three men, a little disappointed for them being as mere supportive actors in this mission. "Say, do you know any of this people here? Do you know if they are reliable?" Chit-chatting, Thera was waiting for the moment of departure, and trying to dig some more secrets from this girl.

She was already with her Halberd ready way before coming to this place.

"Oh don't mind them they are a bit old fashioned and think woman should be at home barefoot and pregnant." Ann had a look of distaste about the comment before looking back at Thera and lowering her voice. "Personally I think they are in the boys only club." Ann made a mocking blow job motion inclining her head in the direction of the men. Thankfully none of them where looking at the two woman as she did so. "As for being lighting fast well I could probably run circles around you if it came to it but Im hoping we can be friends. After all us girls have to stick together."

Thera laughs with the comparison of those men to "happy men". "Hey, what good will come from someone running in circles around other person? Isn't better to just chop them with a HUGE blade? You know, i like huge things." said Thera, still with a side smirk on her face because the little crazy girl's joke.

After her answer, Thera says "Well, you look very experienced. How many missions did you completed till today?"

Ann laughed at Thera's own joke before answering the question. "Well I mostly just ran packages and scouted for the army. This will be my first private mission and Im hoping to make a boat load of money!"

There polite conversation was interrupted however my the man who had been directing the wagon drivers. "Okay mercenaries listen up. Im Lord Ventris's game warden and I will be in charge of the expedition. Now there is some rules you will follow while travailing with my caravan. First off no fighting permitted if you have disputes with each other then come to me. Our work is dangerous enough with out hotheads smashing things or setting fires got it! Secondly Lord Ventris is providing you with enough rations and supplies for the trip which will take about one week after we arrive. If you want anything extra you will have to buy it yourselves. And lastly while in my caravan my word is law if you have an issue with that you can leave now." With that the man turned away attending to the drivers.

"Good, that was about time. Let's get our things ready, Ann." Thera smiled to the little crazy girl and awaited to the moment when everyone was ready to go. "And let's stick together, Ann, three useful weapons are better together than near those 'happy men'." She chuckles.

Ann smiled and stuck close for the rest of the prepping period. While they helped with putting supplies away and gathering a few things of their own (you can buy potions and such if you want now) Ann chit chatted with Thera telling a little more about herself. Apparently she was a war orphan and grew up on the streets stealing and causing trouble before being caught by a guard. Thankfully the guard took her in and gave her a home and a family. She occasionally asked Thera about her life and family but she didn't have to answer Ann if she didn't want to.

Soon however the game warden gathered everyone up and they headed out riding in the wagon until there bum got sore.

"I did have a family, but not anymore... Well, let's look those vendors. " Changing the subject right after the word "family" is spoken, Thera goes to the men and looks for who is selling healing potions. At the same time, she checks her "wallet" to make sure how many denarii she has. "Oi, i want two potions, how much they are?" She then looks to Ann. "Aren't you going to get some?"

Ann smiled at Thera "Yep I already bought some. I suggest you get them from this merchant over here." Ann lead Thera if she would follow over to an elderly woman with grey hair and a box of healing and mana potions. "Hi Ann is this one of your friends?" The old woman looked to Ann and then to Thera. "Im hoping so we just met. It looks like we took on the same job so Im hoping we get along." Ann smiled it seemed genuine and a little naive. "Oh is that so then she might want some potions. I carry......"

"Well, let me see..." Thera looks bottle after bottle, then picks 2 Healing and 1 Energy. "Yes, this will be all i want from you, ma'am." She stuff the potions on her small backpack after paying the woman, trying to not drop any on the ground. After that, she looks for the leader of the caravan to get ready to the departure. "Ann, what you think about this 'monster collect' task?"

"Oh it can be dangerous. After all we are hunting down monsters to capture and send back. Have you heard what some of those monsters due to woman?" Ann shuddered a little before looking up to Thera. "But if we stick together Im sure we'll be okay!"

"Yeah, i know that. I've read some novels of girls who experienced 'consensual rape', if anything like that exists, and their comments about how it feels and the like. I didn't give so much thought about that, but... I'm kinda curious of how many of those stories was truth... Well, if we do have a chance, let's throw some of those guys to the monsters and see what happens, agreed?" Thera was smiling like a mischievous fairy, trying to stuff a crazy idea in the little girl's mind. Obviously, she wasn't speaking too loud, she didn't wanted to get unnecessary and hostile attention from those boring men.

"Hmm... this girl is funnier than i thought. Odds are that i'll need her more than anyone else... But i'll keep an eye on her, just in case."

"Oh, but you are really afraid of those kind of relationship? A big monster 'thing' isn't something you want to try someday?" Now she spoke a little loud, as an informal conversation.

"I don't know something that big entering me might hurt to much for me to enjoy it. How about you do you like large things?" Their conversation brought one man's attention to them though his buddies quickly pulled them back into their own conversation. Ann lowered her voice. "They aren't very sociable are they? I think you right we should see what happens if one of the creatures grab them."

The wagon rumbled on for awhile Thera and Ann watching the clouds from their creaking transport. Just before sunset the Game warden called for them to stop for the evening. The cart handlers quickly got the oxen fed and watered before tying them to a run so they didn't wander off. Heading for the supply cart Ann reached for a tent only to have one of the men roughly push her aside. "Back off little girl and stay out of my way." A look of death flashed threw Ann's eyes before it passed and she smiled. "Sure thing block head I wouldn't want to interrupt you and your gay lovers now would I." The man easily the largest of the trio got red in the face and took a swing at Ann who was no longer where she was a moment ago having dodge the attack. Thankfully the Game Warden was soon on hand to break up the little spat leaving Ann to bring back a tent for here and Thera. "Man those guys are such jerks."

"I'd have to show you if you want to know." Thera giggles, recalling the last time she did have consensual sex with someone with a big 'thing'... two years ago. She shed two fake tears when she remembered she never did non-consensual sex before. "Well, let's see if them are really dumb or just timid, shall we?"

When Ann is bulied by the 'largest' and shows her supernatural speed, Thera gives a "WTH!?" look to her, almost dropping her jaw on the floor. "Oh, yes, thank you."

"That one is gonna have a hard time hes so slow I could read his attack long before it came." Blowing a lose strand of hair out of her face Ann started setting up the tent leaving Thera to do as she wanted.

"Well, if you say so..." She scratches her face to wake up and start preparations for tent making and going to sleep. When everything is ready, Thera goes to sleep promptly. Of course, with her attention focused on those three ruffians before falling on sleep on her own.

The tent was fairly good sized made to hold about 4 people and their assorted gear. Still even with all the room Ann's bed roll was very close to Thera's. If asked she would simply state that it gets cold at night and they have such a very large tent that they should try to stay close together. Still the rest of the night went fairly peacefully except for one incident. In the middle of the night Ann rolled over and one of her hands landed right on one of Thera's breasts. Whether or not Thera did anything about it was up to her but it was rather surprising but not unpleasant.

"Hey now, that's sexual harassment!" When Thera feels the little hand on her skin, she tries to move gently and drop Ann's hand on the floor. If she is sucessfull or not, she doesn't remember, because this is all she remembers when she wake up the next morning.

"What... Did happen?" Thera slaps her face to wake up and prepares to leave, after she is done looking for Ann.
