Yep, I think it worked as intended this time.

On another matter, I stupidly deleted my saves from when I upgraded (to 1.04, I think). I did get the save I put on here (which works), but I'll probably start another game anyway, when I get around to it.

Look forward to seeing the translation, myrubbish2001.

Edit: oh yeah, I should mention what it's doing when I install. I suggests installing to "c:" My game is in "m:/sorting/temp/淫乱勇者セフィのRPG ver1.05" So that's what I point it to. But it comes back with "m:/sorting/temp/淫乱勇者セフィのRPG ver1.05/New Folder". I manually go and delete New Folder from the path, and now it's as it should be, and the install works.

I mention this because others may see something similar and not know what to do. I didn't allow it to install with "c:". That might install to the current directory, or it might just install on c:. I didn't want to take the chance, so I edited the path manually.

Hey all, the author's provided another patch for the game. But this time, it should be compatible with myrubbish2001's work. Although, if he's directly working on the old file...

Anyway, you can get it at their blog. You need version 1.05. Not sure if this bumps up the version number. Maybe it's just a quick fix-it patch.

Thanks for the heads up! Took me awhile navigating that blog of theirs ...

Just downloaded and checked the "patch". I believe that it should work with my fixes. For that matter its a very minor update. I'll just include it in when I make a translation update.

Though ... I wonder when they'll release the next version. It seems like every 4 or 6 days something or the other comes out. Until they stabilize, its too difficult to work on translating.

In other off-topic news, I just finished playing the VN "Come see me tonight 2". Didn't really expect too much from the game, but WHO on earth translates a kiss as "SMACK!" ???!!

So many times in the game, that word comes up all on its own - SMACK! and I'm like "Sooo... the girl hit/slapped him?" and the next scene, I discover that its a French kiss. Seriously !?!!

I like to think that I do a better translation job than that.

The last game I translated, "Naked Order" got a few extra updates while I was translating. I think it went to version 1.12, but my English translation was that of 1.05. It's a situation I want to avoid with this game, so I'm putting the translation on hold until they stabilize the game (i.e. stop releasing patches every week).

In the meantime, the "patches" I keep uploading? They will update your game to the latest Japanese version. Even if you got your copy from the 1.00 torrent in the first post.

Trust me guys, I want to start translating this as much as you, but I can't hit a moving target (ever changing game versions).

So i guess answer to my question is no since this update overwrites your english translation you did so far. ^_^

It is to satisfy people like you that I released the japanese patch. Just use that - it extracts most of the sound and music files in the game. Look in the BGM folder.

No.

If you want to have translation you need to download files from uploading since torrent one isnt compatible with patch for some reason.

The obvious question to ask: have you set your system settings to Japanese locale? That's kindof needed with Wolf games.

Also; from where did you download your game? Can you send a screenshot of the error and the game folder?

Hm, I'm not sure why it's looking for that but there's no game.dat file for the game to find. It's been awhile but I'm quite sure there were no prior installations for WolfRPG. I'm sorry to say, but you may have a bogus file.

It's best to take myrubbish advice of posting SS so we can help you further.

I dont know dude... all is working fine for me. You probably did something wrong while patching.
