Don't overthink it. Anyway I don't think anyone is saying that there's no difference between doing what you did (updating regularly, even if only to say there's been no progress) and what Unforbidden's developer did (vanish into thin air).

Honestly I just wanted an excuse to post the gif of the puppy sitting on the cat's face.

It's important that we show him our support of his ongoing work into this game in any way that we can. Post on his blog, post in this thread, donate, whatever.

Well, the tracker has been down for a while now. Either he's killed the game, or there's an evil April Fool's joke in the making...

Zikare has a strange habit of appearing just when we start to think the game is gone for good, most likely it's still down because he has not returned to it yet to notice. If he remains true to form when he returns to add to the game he will fix up the tracker and pump in a decent amount of updates for about a week before fading into the shadows again.

My current theory is, he works on it during his work holidays every 1-3 months while building back up his development funding to hopefully work on it in a more full time role again.

How in the world do you play this game?
I can't figure out how to break free of a tackle or resist the sex AND when she does get mounted the animal goes through his motions while she is still standing AND running. Anybody got any advice on how to fix this?

Left and right arrow repetitions I think and there's not really a fix for it. If you want the animations to play properly, you might have to stop moving before you're attacked.

Game is/was still in early development, so of course there's problems. He's one of the devs I was most excited for, so I hope he picks it back up one day. As of now it seems canceled/permanently on hold. There was some new timeline stuff a while ago when he brought it back online (It was offline for quite a while), but I think it's dead again. Last entry into the timeline was 01/11/15 I think. There hasn't been an actual post/update in over a year though.

Not so much on hold, but more he seems to work on it when he gets work vacation time. When he shows, he works for about a week or so before he stops again.

Here is what the cougar looks like.

The timeline can go back only 90 days though, I can't find the other models. But they were pretty neat. I think there was a panther one.

Yeah, he has kept right on updating that tracker. So no need to lose hope yet.

Didn't he say, back when he was still posting on his blog, that he would just go quiet until it was done at some point?

I observe the game since the begining and I mean I like the game alot, BUT only these changelogs all the time ... we have nothing real since 1 and a half year ... its just text without any evidence and he does'nt answer on his block not with a post nor in the comments ...

I really hope he is still going to release the game (one of the best 3D games so far), but I hope if the next demo comes in a year or so there will be a full functional demo ... its the least he can do after letting us stand there with nothing but unpersonal text for such a long time. :/

(Also dont give so much on this Cougar I hope that the graphic changed fully to the unity upgrade and the changelogs (I dont understand much about what he writes but if Im right he renews the whole ground so maybe the rest of the graphics too)

Personally I think the wolf and board are enough for your standard land animals. I was hoping for some sort of beach area that would maybe have some cool shit like octopuses or squids that come ashore and tackle you and fuck you. I was also hoping there would be some humans as well since it was definitely hinted at that there were humans that went sex-crazed. Also was hoping for some more science fiction types like the little face-hugger looking thing that was in the caves to tie in the reason for everything going sex-crazed.

Sure would be pretty awesome if those got in....but at this point, I'd just take another demo with some more spit, sparkle and shine.
