Chloe casts Healing Touch on Layns.
Casting: Success.
Healing: 6 + 6 + 10 + 2 + 2 = 26, 26 * 2 - 52 HP restored.

Then Lanys goes and finishes off the orc.

Dropping the chains of light but leaving the armor Lanys, Chloe watched the soldier's wound close under her spell, earning her a grateful smile, before a confused expression appeared as she announced that she could no longer hold the orc. Released from the magical chains, the orc jumped up and prepared to fight, but like the others his attacks were useless against the magically armored soldier. He would make sure that each of the orcs was dead once the last shield wielder had fallen, and then return to Chloe and say, "are you alright?"

Chloe gave him a weak smile as the magical armor dissapated leaving Lanys vulnarable once more. "Just tired.. I'll need to conserve what energy I have to maintina the spell for Chandlier. I had to drop your magical armor so we will have to be careful as we go." Chloe went over and looked the orcs over doing a brief serach. "If I spend to much Ill pass out and I doubt we'll have time to rest. No doubt someone will come looking for this patrol."

Lanys would simply nod at her statement, and then lead the way forward with his bloodied sword at the ready. They would proceed past the dead orcs and into a chamber, where they would find a brief camp roughly set up, likely only a temporary arrangement for those orcs who had escaped the battle above. Three prisoners were there, among them two elves, both young women and both essentially naked and showing obvious signs of sexual abuse as they huddled in a corner, collars around their necks attached to chains which were in turn attached to pegs on the wall. The third, which Chloe's spell pointed her to, was Chandler. He was tied between two metal pipes, parts of the fortress's structure ripped out, and showed signs of more violent sort of abuse from his captors. His face was bruised and battered, one of his finely sculpted cheeks indented as if the bone had been crushed, and his nose oozing blood and bent at an odd angle. Shirtless, his muscled chest was covered in scrapes, cuts, and more bruises, and his pants were slightly shredded. He seemed to be unconscious, and his breathing was ragged.

Blinking Chloe almost missed the fact her goal was right there. "Layns keep an eye out." Moving over Chloe brought up her diagnose spell to check first Chandlier and then the elven woman. It pained her to see her lover in this state but from an outward apperance he seemed okay. However inward damage would be the determaning factor here. After checking him she would see if the elven girls where awake and talkative. "Hello my name is Chloe Im from the acadamy are you okay can you walk?"

Chandler was beaten, battered, and had a few broken ribs, a broken nose, an impacted cheek, and a badly sprained ankle, bloodied and sprained wrists from the manacles he was forced to wear, as well as a concussion.... But he was alive, and would live a good while longer, particularly if he got some medical care and rest quickly. The two elves were a little less worse off, though both sported broken wrists, one had a broken rib and the other a cracked bone in their leg that was in danger of leaking marrow into her blood if it got any worse, and both were pregnant, likely as a result of rape by their captors.

The two women were a good bit more lucid than Chandler, and after a hesitant moment both of them carefully nodded. "Yes.... I think I can," the one with the fractured leg said, though she first gestured toward the chain tied to the collar around her neck before trying to get up to her knees and wincing in pain. The other helped her back down, obviously pained herself thanks to the broken rib but hiding it well, before adding, "We were beaten when we tried to escape... That man heard us, but he was alone and injured, and they captured him too.... They said they wanted to use him to buy their escape, if they couldn't find a way out of the fortress down here," she explained.

"Take it easy take it easy let me see the injury." Flashing her spell up once more Chloe inspected the cracked bone. If it was simple she would heal it imidiately with some minor magic. If it was more complicated it could get troublesome. "How many orcs where there we killed four." She didn't want to have to set Ribs in the dark but if need be she would. Moving back to Chandlier Chloe focused some minor magic to heal his ribs if they where in place and ankle so he could at lest walk out of here. She could do little for the concusion. Once the captives where stable Chloe would then focus on trying to free them hoping that a key was nearby.

"Just those four," the one elf said hurriedly while Chloe examined Chandler's broken rib. It wasn't too bad, minor enough that she could quickly reset it without causing too much pain to the unconscious man, and in the meantime Lanys would quickly search the dead orcs and find a key on one of them. The key served to open the collars and manacles on both elves and on Chandler, who still wasn't lucid.

"Good good. I would hate to be ambushed by more of those brutes." Looking to Chandler Chloe tried to stir wake him gently by applying a light slaps to his face. "Hey hey soilder boy focus on my voice... come on wake up your gonna miss the pretty girl who came to save your butt or and Lanys too." Hopefully this got the man to stir. If not it would be a hard walk back to the entrance. "Layns see if you can get him to wake up." Moving back to the elves Chloe helped the mostly heathy one up. She had been beaten badly and given her state that appaled her. Apparently orcs could care less about their children. Moving to the more seriously injured girl Chloe would do what she could. Picing her up Chloe wobbled a little thankful that her time with Grace was well spent even if she was no where near as strong as her friend. "Is he up yet Lanys?"

Chandler stirred slightly, his battered face rising, and a spark of recognition would appear a moment after his dazed look faded. "Didn't.... Expect to see your pretty face... Down here.... Or again," he grunted between labored breaths, before Lanys would see to him and Chloe would go to the wounded elf. She would have trouble walking, that much was obvious, and while Lanys undid Chandler's bindings she would be able to get the two women up on their feet, the one helping Chloe support the other gingerly despite her own injuries. "He's up... Don't know how lucid. Can you get us out of here?" Lanys said, now half carrying Chandler.

"Yeah it should be easy we can just follow our tracks out." Bringing up a basic light spell Chloe searched for her and Lanys's foot tracks. If they proved ellusive she would concentrate and bring up her find spell its target the hatch they had entered.

Though sometimes they could see tracks on the ground, Chloe was no tracker, and after several wrong turns she would be forced to let Lanys take the lead. The going was slow with so many wounded traveling with them, but they discovered no further opposition to worry about. It was a long walk, and a very uncomfortable one, but eventually Chloe would come upon the ladder leading up to the hatch they'd come down from, at which point she'd have to figure out how she wanted to get Chandler and the two wounded elves up it.

This was a daunting obsticle. Looking up and then to the wounded in their midest Chloe sighed. Of course she had forgotten to grab a rope. While no doubt she could heal the broken wrists of the elven woman they would still be far to weak to wistand climbing the ladder not to mention of them had a sevet leg injury that would need careful healing. "Okay girls Im gonna see what I can see rest tight alright." Heading up the ladder Chloe would look about the small room for rope or any such things before calling out her voice amplified with magic. "Medic I have wounded over here!"

The elves would wearily nod and lean against the wall, Lanys doing the same with Chandler. The soldier was panting and sweaty from the exertion of carrying his comrade, but rather than complain he simply said; "Hurry up, yeah?" Climbing the ladder, Chloe found the immediate area still fairly deserted, but when she called out with her enhanced voice a squad of soldiers was quick to appear to investigate the source of the noise. They had rope with them, and after some effort they worked together to get the wounded trio up the ladder and out to the other healers. Lanys would explain what had happened, glossing over the reason they'd come slightly to spare Chloe from embarrassment, and the battered soldier and the two raped elven women would be taken back through the portal in short order and left in the healer's quarters to be cared for.

Chloe went with the injured to explain what she had found out during her first eximanation and well to watch Chandler. Thankfully Lanys glossed over the details but Chloe had no doubt that her litte ruse would be discovered eventually. Still she had found two other by chance and that made her feel better.

For the moment she had no plans and unless questioned she would be on her way shortly. Still she did have someone to thank. Turning she waited for Layns to be done befor heading up to him and giving him a quick peck on the cheek. "Thanks for the help." Smiling Chloe would wave goodbye to him and stop to visit the elves and Chandlier before heading back to her room.

"It's what I do," Lanys replied dryly, though her peck on the cheek managed to draw a grin out of him. Chandler was still not totally coherent, but the two elves were more or less alright, and thanked her profusely for rescuing them from the orcs.

Returning to her room back at the Academy, Chloe found it empty, at least for the time being. Stephanie and Carly were out, though it was hard to guess where exactly, and she had her room to herself at the end of a very long day.

Chloe didn't care if her roommates where out it let her finally relax. Then only then did the affects of what she had done in the cave catch up with her. Shaking and feeling sick the images of the orc's face melting nearly made her throw up. She hated using her magic to hurt to kill. A few tears slowly seeped out of her eyes. Her teacher would be very dissapointed in her. Though after a few minutes of this Chloe slowed her breathing and unclenched her hands. He also wouldn't have wanted her to die or be ensalved by orc either. Sitting up Chloe would dry her eyes and change her cloths, it had been a long day time to tend to her needs. Freshly dressed she would head out to get some food.

Changing out of her bloodied clothes and going down to the cafeteria, Chloe would find it fairly full. It was a little bit after dinner time, but many students opted to eat later, having gotten wrapped up in one thing or another. She would be able to go to the free buffet for simpler food or pay a bit in order to acquire a meal cooked to order, depending on her whims, and then go sit alone or with people, though the former would involve waiting a while for space to clear out. Carly was present, sitting with a few of her friends, but she didn't do more than wave to Chloe upon spotting her. Saijen was also present, though he too was with a group of friends and didn't even acknowledge her. A couple other people that she knew were scattered about, but overall no one paid her much attention, possibly a welcome thing after her harrowing adventure to rescue Chandler.

Chloe opted for a light salad as she found that she could never really eat meat after messy experanices. After the inccident in the decrupted church she didn't anything meat like for a month. Though it was good for her figure it had worried Nina and some others. Still that was some time ago and now that she was a little more seasoned it wasn't as bad. Waving to a few people she knew Chloe hdead out to one of the small garden area's for fresh air and well mostly to be alone or rather to be left alone.

Chloe's desires for a lighter meal and to be alone would easily be fulfilled, and after eating she would be able to wander the gardens near the cafeteria. Only two years earlier she had crept through these very gardens, heading towards the door to the kitchens where they had first truly encountered the aliens. There were no signs of the devastation that the invaders had wrought, the gardens fully restored to their former beauty and glory, but even after what had happened few students besides those devoted to the study of natural magic opted to visit them and enjoy them. A couple others wandered, in pairs or alone, as this was a semi-popular place for dates or even more clandestine meetings between couples, but for the most part Chloe was left alone with her thoughts.

It was a shame really if anything she would have thought they would avoid the kitchen. Shuddering at the memory of nearly being taken by the slime girls made Chloe stop and look at a rather beautful flower. She was glad her time fighting the aliens was over but she knew if something didn't happen to rid them of the reminates that the whole thing could start over. Still out of all the creatures she had encountered the invaders had put the fear of gods into her. Calming herself Chloe took one last sniff of the fresh garden air before gathering her plate and such to return. Once they where taken care off she would head back to her room and call it a night.
