Cybeast there is another funny looking thing somewhere on the map, you have to shoot that to kill the other funny looking thing. It's a big goat-rope and pretty much makes up the entire end half of the game.

Re: Xenotake (Vosmug game)

Since I do not have any ways to pay for this game, I'm hoping that someone will throw me a link :)

I played the demo a month ago and I really enjoyed the game. One of the best. Great work.

Re: Xenotake (Vosmug game)

So read back some pages back, and found out the way to open that door (silly me)

Love the story, the characters have personality and it doesn't go with the usual bad end/good end, sorta like... middle ground, I think? Either way, it can open to a sequel! :D

Also that sequence is just unexpected, especially when the game changed into a bullet hell :p

Re: Xenotake (Vosmug game)

the game is easy (even though its on normal settings) and finish it on my first try.
though the gallery style same on Parasite in City. Summon the monster you want to rape on the Heroine.

Oi...

Also now that I can FINALLY POST URL'S!

Go nuts! Just remember to hit the ignore button like 30-40 times and you'll be able to play the full game. Mind you that this isn't the "full" version but it has literally every inch of content that the full version has and you can play it to the end. Rumor has it from some folks if you take some of the dll files from the .3 demo and throw it in with the zip I supplied the game will work as if you bought it just fine.

IF YOU ENJOY THE GAME PLEASE GO BUY IT FROM VOSMUG, HE DID A DAMN FINE JOB!

This game is fun. It has a tangirl, A LITTLE milking (yet even a little is a step in the right direction for H-games. Especially platformers.) It has yuri. The climaxes of the game look like appropriate game-overs, but these characters are the toughest H-Platformer characters in H-game history. There ARE segments where you are a robot without parts that Lila has, but those are still fun to play.

All in all, this is solidly built. And a sequel is very possible.

Actually as you sit there making yourself look like a moron for not actually reading the thread.. Vosmug first posted his "unfinished" version when he released the game. You "needed" to download it to be able to play the full game. When you paid him you would be sent a link to a few tiny files that would basically be a security system for the game so people couldn't pirate it easily. Well, the file he posted would play the entire game for free without the security files inplace and shortly after noticing his error he quickly swapped the files.

I was one of the lucky few who downloaded the game the split second he uploaded the files and therefore got the broken copy.

Again, you're an idiot and should read before you make an ass of yourself. Just saying.

Re: Xenotake (Vosmug game)

I beat the game. It's worth the seven dollars (like it's been said DL charges more for less), however....

I feel that we should have a few more sex scenes for the wait. To hell with the price, the time this game took to finish alone is almost disappointing.
It's not like a six month development period means that a game maker was spending 4 solid hours working on it every day. A lot of these guys have other shit to deal with, and with the only incentive to work being an unreliable and likely small payoff, it wouldn't surprise me if they often took weeks off of working on a game.

Ultimately, these things are pretty much a charity unless it becomes a large enough market to stabilize (and attract new developers with more reliable returns). Don't expect so much out of what are effectively generous hobbyist projects.

Re: Xenotake (Vosmug game)

I merged XT_main with the XT demo 0.3 and the game runs, without errors(only on exiting the game). I played a bit. I like it. As soon as my bank unfucks their system and I can use my debit card I will purchase two copies. Not everyone that doesn't want to initially pay for something is just an asshole who simply wants everything for free. I hope his next project is even better. Hopefully some cum inflation, large insertion, infestation, corruption, zombies, birth, impregnation/oviposition, etc.

Re: Xenotake (Vosmug game)

I actually bought the game before I got the DL link from Val'Jean (thx btw :D)

Buying it was a mistake. Yes it was only 7 bucks but still, the game is pretty mediocre.

The whole hentai aspect of it is totally underwhelming. Only handful of enemies that actually rape and they only have one position each. No corruption or dialogue/monologue outside of the story-sequences.

Also what the hell was this robot shit? It's a goddamn RoR-game. Why do I spend a third of the game playing as that boring Robot? It's not even challenging. You just fly above all the enemies and try to find out where the hell the right way is

Re: Xenotake (Vosmug game)

Being the first H-game I've actually bought, this was well worth the 7 bucks to me. The animation was some of the highest quality I've seen since Koooonsoft's games. While relatively short, its limited content did not disappoint me.

On a side note, shame there wasn't a futa aspect added to the commander's contamination. Granted, it probably would've been a bit out of place with the setting/story, but it would've earned major bonus points in my book regardless.

So uh... isn't that kind of the point of story sequences?

You must have the luck of the Irish, because there's no way in hell you can just fly high up and never get hit.

Re: Xenotake (Vosmug game)

The robot part made me want to hit my dick with a hammer. It was awkward, excruciatingly boring, and blatantly intended to inflate playtime.

However, the robot part was merely a smudge on what is, in my not even slightly humble opinion, a glimmering jewel in the sea of diarrhea that is hentai games. The animation was great, the sound was great, and I found literally 0 bugs in my semi-rigorous attempts to break the game.

The difficulty was pretty low, and the ammo pickups were meaningless with the auto-regen-12-bullets-when-you-empty-a-clip mechanic. I don't expect (nor desire) a real challenge in an h-game, so honestly I found the difficulty to be perfect, but the ammo thing kinda bothered me.

The story was well above average, though I'd like to offer some advice. When you write longer stuff, you naturally get lazier as the piece goes on, and by the end you'll notice you're writing completely differently than you were at the beginning. I feel like the tone in Xenotake varies in a way that makes it clear you did one part of the game all in one week, then another part of the game all in another week, etc. So, my advice is this: take the whole script in front of you, and, in chunks (a paragraph or so), rewrite it. You aren't changing plot, but by doing this paper-->brain-->paper translation, you will ensure you've used the same tone throughout the game.

Glad to hear it; I can't tell you how much time I spent trying to break this game :p I know some people still found a bug or two, but considering what this game was programmed in and the content of the game, I figure that's a pretty solid job. :)

Re: Xenotake (Vosmug game)

Though there's still one question for me:

In the flying robot parts, there are some new enemies (jumping aliens, that spinning flying thing, and one that likes to go up or above you). Why there isn't any animation with them? I feel that the jumping one will have interesting animation :(
