"So what should we do to fill the time? I was making the flowers into things that looked pretty, but you need them for stuff, so i should just leave them alone. Should we sleep? Or more sex?. Wait! Dont you kinds of creatures need food? Are you hungry? There's little silver fish here!"

Qara giggles. "We could make some pretty things. I don't think I need any more flowers right now. Or we could collect seeds. That way you'll be able to plant them if you settle down and have all the prettiest ones after a season or two. I'm not hungry right now, thanks." The catgirl cuddles Joey lazily and starts purring again.

"Seeds! Great idea Qara!" Joey said happily, able to easily carry the catgirl without moving her in the slightest as she moved around the spring, collecting seeds and bulbs from the various pretty flowers and nice smelling bushes on the banks. Humming all the while, Joey was sooooooo happy just to have a friend again and it was heaven. She was also certain that Qara would probably make more shorn weeds soon just like she did! Because that's what always happened right?

Joey's chance to impregnate is a literal 100% and and i think its alraune seedlings rather then shorns, can't remember, and the standard gestation time is cut in half for joey, so it will literally be a matter of a few hours before Qara starts dropping seeds.

Qara relaxes and just lays on Joey's vines, watching the enthusiastic flower girl collect seeds and pods and purring happily. After a while, she fetches a leather pouch from her backpack for Joey to put the seeds in, holding it open for the alraune.

Joey placed the seeds in the pouch with a soft giggle, snuggling Qara and starting to laugh, the sound oddly melodic here in her home spring while they relaxed and just enjoyed eachothers company. Joey wasn't much for conversation, but she was incredibly interested in her new friend, though she couldn't figure out how to phrase the questions.

If Qara had any ideas then Joey was happy to follow, otherwise Joey would start to droop a little before meandering over to her flower, fully intending to sleep there with Qara as it was the safest place in the spring, being inside the old blossom giving her access to a slew of extra roots and tendrils.

If Qara resisted, then joey would let her go happily, crawling into her flower and lounging in her nectar, singing softly

Darkness was fast approaching, and the air around them was cooling off, though the water was more than sufficient to keep them warm. As Joey guided Qara towards her flower, the cat-woman felt a twitch in her womb, and looking down saw that there was already a slight bulge in her abdomen, and not from the cum that was still trickling from her lower holes and into the water around them.

Qara relaxes with Joey in the spring, amusing herself by telling the alraune about the desert where she grew up. When it comes time to sleep, Qara declines to follow Joey into the flower, instead getting out of the spring and drying herself before taking out her bedroll and settling down to nurse her surprisingly rapidly growing belly and wait for the coming birth.

It was rather uncomfortable for Qara, sitting on the ground outside of the hot spring in the cold Croalian night, especially after spending so much time in the nice hot water. Fortunately she didn't have to suffer long, only a few hours, before she went into labor.

It came on rather quickly, but not so fast that she couldn't ready herself or ask for assistance from Joey if she wanted it.

With a grunt, the seedlings began their trip down and out of her, and Qara could feel her uterus bulging as they made their way out. While it hurt momentarily, it seemed like they released a bit of aphrodisiac to help mitigate the pain, as her thoughts slowly turned towards more erotic subjects and away from the pain of giving birth. One by one she squeezed the seeds out of her vagina, allowing the her tiny children to plop onto the soft ground beneath her. The little ones possessed small tendrils which they used to pull themselves along the ground, seemingly making their way towards the hot spring, drawn instinctively towards its warmth.

When all was said and done, Qara had birthed seventeen seedlings. Her womb felt a great deal less pressured and she was free of a weight she hadn't noticed until it was gone. Though now she did feel a little cold and hungry, the birthing having taken its toll on her physically and mentally. While the aphrodisiac did warm her a little, it wasn't nearly so potent as anything she inhaled earlier and served only to ease the birthing and the feelings that came after.

While the seedlings were pulling themselves along at a decent pace, it would be no trouble for the two to scoop them up and do with them what they would.

As the birthing starts, Qara lets out a forced gasp before just leaning back and doing her best to relax even as the seedlings pop out of her vagina, one by one. As the last one leaves, Qara almost passes out from the exhaustion. Grumbling to herself, she pulls out some bread and hard cheese from her backpack, eating a simple meal before curling up on her bedroll and pulling a thick blanket over herself.

Joey watched the birthing with barely concealed joy, and all was right in the world as the seedlings wandered around the warmer parts of the spring in safety, that was probably against the natural order of things since this place was heavily avoided by most things. Smiling widely, Joey crawled into her old bloom, and curled up to sleep the night away, safe, warm, and with a new friend sleeping nearby.

Qara said she'd take her away from this place, which was amazing for the alraune, who rightfully had no idea what the outside world was really like, she'd miss the safety of her bloom, but she could always grow a new one at Qara's home! Yea! That was the best idea. Without a doubt. And then Joey fell asleep, content with the state of things.

The two awoke at the same time the next morning. Joey feeling as fine as she always did, whereas Qara didn't feel quite so well. After spending all that time in the hotspring , sleeping exposed in the cold Crolian night may not have been the best idea, it seemed that her fur had kept her from getting the worst of the effects though.

Looking around, the sun was shining, birds chirping, and it was a nice day in general. However there was also a thin layer of frost on the ground once one got away from the hotspring, and the weather was definitely rather cold, certainly too cold for the Alraune to be walking around in her natural, unclothed state. Either she would need to wear Qara's clothes and the Su-Ku-Ta could rely on her fur, or they would need to find her some clothes through some other methods.

Once you guys leave the spring, each night I will roll to see if one or both of you get sick from sleeping in the cold. Certain things can be done to mitigate or eliminate your chances of getting sick all together. Sharing a bedroll would mitigate, sleeping indoors or together in a tent would eliminate. Conversely some things will increase the risk, such as sleeping alone and exposed after getting out of a hotspring *looks at Qara*. Anyway, Once our adventurers' day starts winding down I will list off a few sleeping options, and the rolls associated with them, this is just so you guys will be thinking about it now.

Normally I wouldn't Be a stickler about something like weather, but since it's actually a plot point for Joey I will be using it as a challenge for you guys to overcome. Cheers!

Joey woke up slowly, the memories of last night slowly sliding back into place as she looked around the inside of her bloom which was opening in the morning light, kind of like a natural alarmclock. Qara would probably find what she did next a little odd, but yea know... breakfast. Slipping into the springs and the warmth, Joey spread her arms wide as her roots sank deep into the ground, her body completely exposed as she let the sun sink into her skin, invigorating her like nothing else did.

A challenge in Crolia she had encountered was the snowstorms that blotted out the sun for days and left her a weak, lethargic mess, having to eat the small fish and some of the plants that grew around her spring to stay active, so the Alraune was a rather adept forager in her own little secluded ecosystem, but for the next half hour or so, she would be completely dead to her surroundings, a light smile playing on her lips as she basked and swayed slightly with the breeze, looking for all the world like a smiling green sculpture.

When she was done with "breakfast" However, She'd set about the spring, looking around for shiny things and pretty flowers, completely oblivious to any challenges about leaving until they actually arose, because despite everything, it had always been easier and safer to just stay in her warm spring, and thoughts of the cold when they inevitably left it today, hadn't sunk in yet.

Shivering as she wakes up, Qara quickly gets clothed and makes a small fire from fallen branches, starting it easily despite the wetness of the wood, only for the wind to blow the smoke at her face before she manages to move away from the smoke and start making porridge for breakfast. As she gets the small kettle set next to the fire so that it'll grow hot without falling over, the catgirl quickly packs her bedroll, frowning as it somehow takes up more space than it should.

Seeing the fire come to life, Joey was suddenly torn between IMMEDIATELY extinguishing it, and making tea because it honestly scared her and Qara would find Joey bringing her all the ingredients to make tea because assuming the best was always easier, although admittedly it did get the alraune into trouble at times. However this didn't stop Joey from talking, and rather excitedly at that. So... so so so... We're leaving soon right? What's your home like? are there other people there? How many? Are they like you! Are there other Alraune!? How about wolves and bandits!?!?!? Those are bad and mean and hurt people and I don't wanna go if those are there because they scare me. OOOO! is it a spring like mine!? or are there tents and stuff! And what do people usually eat!!? Momma told me about soups and stews and something called roast lamb and ale and all these other things I want to try and are there lots of flowers or do I have to grow more like the shorn weeds! OOOO! I bet your home could use more shorn weeds, they're so good for keeping the bad things out and i can make soooo many!

And the verbal diarrhea continued until something stopped her, Qara being bombarded with questions until she literally ran out of breath, her breakfast seemingly finished when the words started and the quiet and peaceful sunbathing stopped. The AetherRose, admittedly the strangest plant in the entire spring, had already started to grow again and in the cold air of the morning Joey spent most of the time moving with only her head above the water, keeping her body in the warmth the spring provided.

Qara smiles warmly at the alraune, letting Joey run out of breath before starting to answer. "Yes, we'll leave as soon as I've eaten breakfast. We're not going to my home, though. At least, not yet. We're going to a city called Acheron, where there are lots of different kinds of people. I'm sure there are at least some alraune, too. I'm sure there are places there with flowers as well, but mostly it's filled with buildings. I'm sure you'll get to taste lots of things even before we get there."

As the pair is talking, Qara puts the tea onto the fire as well, and waits for the things to get ready.

Acheron! we're going to acheron! We're going to Acheron! Acheron acheron! and so the happy chanting continued for a full 5 minutes as the excited plant girl splashed around in her spring and singing the name of the city before calming down as the smell of tea brought her back to reality. At least Trusting Qara was decidedly easy and Joey hadn't been this happy in awhile because she never got visitors but now she had one and it was awesome!

Smiling widely, Qara would see Joey freeze stock still in the water, before biting her lower lip and stifling a giggle, before... Flip! Out came a fish! popped out of the water by the flick of a vine before Joey went still again and popped three more fish out of the water and into the cave near Qara for breakfast, starting to laugh harder everytime a fish brushed against her because it tickled. 4 fish fetched and Tea soon to be done.

And as far as Joey was concerned that meant it was time to do other things which inevitably led to her diving under the water and collecting pebbles. Far under the water there was a little tunnel where hot water vented out constantly, a fissure in the earth heating her spring and revealing the reason she had been able to live here. Popping back up with a wide smile, Joey sat nearby and went over the stones in her hands picking her favourites and humming softly.

As the alraune chants the unfamiliar name, the tea starts boiling and Qara takes it off of the fire, letting it brew for a while before pouring it into two mugs.

When Joey starts tossing fishes at her, Qara aptly catches them, only dropping on of the slippery animals. Not about to let them go to waste, she quickly guts them and puts them over on a flat rock next to the fire, managing not to burn them badly as they're quickly fried. The porridge gets ready as well, and the catgirl takes it off of the fire. "Food's ready. Come eat."

GAH!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THE FISHIES!!! Joey all but yells as she steals one back and just eats it raw, looking teary eye'd and extremely confused, hands balled up next to her mouth in shock as she watches Qara cooking them, never having seen that before.

Gulping as the cooking continued, she was finally tempted over by the smell... Which was new and utterly fascinating, as well as incredible to the Alraune who flopped nearby and drank her tea which she admittedly liked a great deal more then eating. But her first bite of cooked food had her eyes wide as saucers as she chewed, looking entranced by the flavour as she tried the porridge next. She'd had it before, but Qara's was different and just as enjoyable and soon whether the cat woman wanted it or not, she had found her bestest fucking friend EVER!

Eating happily and looking around the small cave, Joey thought about her pebbles again, picking a few that looked like volcanic glass because they were shiny, and setting them aside before tossing the others into the water, liking the ripples they made when they splashed.

Qara can't help but laugh at the adorable alraune as she all but panics when Qara starts cooking the fishes, and she laughs again at her expression when Joey actually tastes the cooked fish, a warm, soft laughter. Qara herself eats quickly, liking the taste though lamenting the lack of spices. After eating, the su-ku-ta quickly washes the dishes and packs her pack.

As the time comes to leave, Qara looks at Joey thoughtfully. Outside the spring it would be too cold without clothing, and Qara had lost her spare clothing to bandits on the way. "We need to keep you warm. This may feel weird, try to relax." Beckoning Joey to come closer, the su-ku-ta focuses, trying to remember the great dragon's teachings. Pressing her palm against Joey's chest, she slowly pushes the spirit energies into alraune so that the heat of the dragon would keep her warm.

Joey, trusting Qara implicitly at this point, stood very still before the power Qara was summoning washed over her, strengthening her form further and covering her shoulders, arms, the sides of her chest, and her sternum with thick light green scales, before a pair of wings burst from her back.

Flailing wildly in a panic, but feeling incredibly warm, Joey was back in the water in a flash, before realising now that the water didn't make her feel any warmer. If Joey had been physically powerful before, now she was truly a force to be reckoned with. The wings, long draconic things, would remain mostly unused, except maybe as a strange form of cloak as the Alraune flexed them slowly before opening her mouth in sheer joy and wrapping them around her body. OOOOooooo Thankyouthankyouthankyou! She shouted joyously, before rushing forward and hugging Qara tightly, liking the odd gift a great deal, though she kept lifting her wings and arms and looking herself over, still careful not to squish the cat lady in her grip before setting her down.

HOW DID YOU DO THAT!!!! She asked, her eyes once again impossibly wide in her excitement as she bounced around, feeling so light and strong and warm... Warm was soooo nice. Of course she didn't really wait for an answer, because she was already bounding away towards the edges of the spring, putting her hands in the snow and blocking the wind with her wings. This was all just so amazing!
