Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

At the touch Thelia winced and side stepped away before apologizing. "Last night was special.. I was not myself.. please don't mistake out time together for something that's not... there. It was special and beautiful but I cannot do that or be that person for you. Its best if we keep it professional." Sara could tell Thelia was lying. Her face was flush and her voice had a slight quiver in it. Truth was she was scared probably for the first time in a long time. Though maybe it was best not to press the issue just yet.

Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

Even though Sara could tell Thelia was lying, she decided not to press her. The young half-elf was likely not used to this and her troubled past probably made emotional connections difficult for her. Still, she found herself intensely drawn to the assassin with the pierced vagina. There was something forbidding and dangerous about her that drew Sara in and challenged her. This danger called to Sara and a part of her that she hadn't really known existed felt an intense compulsion to win the girl's affections and succeed in the challenge of making Thelia her lover. In the meantime, it would probably be best to give a little space to the assassin.

With a reluctant shrug and a sigh Sara backed off and said, You're right, it was very special. I'm sorry to hear that, but I understand. I just hope you'll keep thinking it over. If you change your mind there will always be a warm space in my sleeping bag for you. And if you do some day decide you want to join me I assure you we can take it slow." With a wistful smile she turned and went back towards Fort Droth. "I'm going to go get Aya up and get our stuff ready to go. We'll meet you out here."

Sara went inside and nudged Aya awake, telling her it was time to go. She would get her stuff ready and help Aya prepare to travel as well before heading outside with her to join Aya and set off towards Endus.

Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

Aya got up with a yawn and stretch before looking at Sara. "Is something wrong?" Little did Aya know her wings had begun to sparkle slightly, wings she didn't know she had. Still Sara could wait for Aya to find them herself or she could tell the girl.

Tell
"W-what?" Aya spun around trying to catch a glimpse of the things before finally catching a glimpse and muttering something Sara couldn't make out. Her face was red but eventually the girl would focus her own will and her wings would slip into her body hidden.

Find out on her own
Aya got up and started getting dressed pulling a shirt over her head only to yell out as the cloth tried to force her new additions down. Looking back she would gasp "What the hell! Damn Fae!" Her face was red but eventually the girl would focus her own will and her wings would slip into her body hidden.

Getting ready and packing up their stuff Aya got what they could carry on the sledge ready to go before eyeing Thelia's new bust. She smiled a glint of mischief in her eye but thought better of it. She did look at the assassin before getting her skies ready. "You too huh?" Thelia just eyed her and nodded before leading off. Thankfully Aya sighed at the girl before giving Sara a run down on how to use skies. Soon they where off with Aya pulling the sledge with the loot and Thelia up ahead having waited for them to catch up a little before taking lead again at a much slower pace. They wold travel like this for a few days switching off who hauled the sledge before they finally got to a small village. It was snow covered and they couldn't see any signs but did notice a well established inn. Of course it was midday and they group could look for a shop to sell their loot.

"So, ermm....you..." Not quite sure how to tell Aya about her new package, she just pointed to her and said, "Ah, you've got some new equipment back there." Aya's shocked exclamation didn't surprise her, and soon enough she would absorb the wings into her back. "Shapeshifting huh? That's pretty handy."

After a lesson on skis and sleds, the party of three was off to Endus. Several days later they arrived at a small village on the way. As Sara was dragging the sled at this point she immediately piped up, "Alright! Let's find a place to sell off some loot so we can lighten this gods damned sled. Afterwards maybe we should check out the inn and see about getting a room?" If there were no objections, she would lead the group in doing just that. First stop, a shop or several shops as needed to sell off loot, then they would go check out the inn to see if they could rent a room. Hopefully Thelia would agree to share a room with her and Aya, for more reasons than just a reduced price.

Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

Aya looked at her and nodded. "Ive been this way before I know a good place Ill go take care of this. You and Thelia go get the room!" She had conspired with Aya during the long nights about getting Thelia in their bed and the succubus was more than willing to assist her in the effort. Nodding the Thelia moved off to an inn. The sign above it though weathered was still readable. The inn was called the Whistling Wench. Heading in Thelia moved to the counter to talk with the old man at the bar. Looking around Sara noted that this inn seemed to be an old mead hall and had several room on the ground floor as well as the upper floor. A blonde haired elf woman walked about serving drinks. She was rather silent taking orders before heading back to the counter. As she passed Sara say an Orcish tattoo on her neck. Still after getting a few drinks she moved and deposited them before moving to a table where four woman sat with a trusty Malamute. All where very attractive with two of them outstanding and eye catching. One of them wore heavy armor and carried herself in a noble manner. She had long blonde hair and grey eyes. Despite her look she seemed to look to one of the supernaturally beautiful ladies in the company. The one she was looking too was a orange haired beauty clad in tight leather armor that clung to her perfect proportions. She seemed light hearted and talking merrily with her companions. Yet another woman seemed rather grim and tired. She had black hair and blue eyes and wore twin blades on her hips. On the top of her head two wolf like ears twitched as a tail came up from her chair. The final one seemed to cling to the orange haired girl. She was dressed in a maids uniform and had black hair with blue eyes. She was also very attractive but seemed way to focused on the rogue looking woman.

Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

Sara looked around the inn and was impressed with what she saw. Not with the actual accommodations, it looked like the kind of place where she would move furniture in front of the door instead of just locking it. No, she was impressed with the current occupants. She counted six women including Thelia that she would be interested in inviting to her room. And not just that, the group of four looked to be capable adventurers. Well, three of them seemed to be adventurers, the maid...she wasn't all that sure about the maid. Then there was the elf waitress with the orcish tattoo. She thought that was odd, as she understood it the elves and the orcs were at war, so she had no idea why this woman would have such a tattoo, unless maybe she had gotten it before the fighting started. Tattoos are permanent, and elves live long lives after all, she reasoned.

She decided that she would ask the elf about the group, but since she was busy she decided to check first on Thelia and the barkeeper. If they were discussing rooms, Sara would insist that they need only spend money on one room if the bed was of decent size. Assuming Thelia tried to argue, Sara would point out that they were all mature enough to share a bed together without anything 'untoward' happening, and they should really try and save their denarii where they could as they had a long journey ahead of them. Besides that, they'd be asleep for the time they were in there, so it wouldn't make a difference if they shared a bed or not. These were little white lies of course, Sara had every intention of working with Aya to get Thelia to let loose for them, but she figured that saying as much would be a surefire way for Thelia to not go along with her reasoning.

Whatever the result, the elven waitress would hopefully be done with the table of interest by the time Sara finished talking to Thelia. Once she was away from the table, Sara would make her way over and put on her best smile. "Hi there miss, I was hoping you could tell me a bit about that table you were just at, the one with the four women. They look like adventurers for the most part, what's their story?"

OOC:
I figure that since Sara has lived in her fairly isolated village her whole life, she'd be relatively ignorant about world events, knowing only the most major like the alien invasion and some info on the demonic invasions from past DG versions. She knows that the Orcs are causing trouble in the north, but she has no idea how bad it is and how bad the elves have pretty much lost already. She definitely doesn't know about how a ton of them have been enslaved either.

Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

Taking in the scene for now Sara was able to stop Thelia from picking two rooms. Eyeing Sara in her cool manner the girl shrugged and scooped up her coin before gesturing to the barkeep. "Ahh well no worries miss each room comes with two beds so you shouldn't be too cramped." Looking to Thelia and then to Sara the man waited hand out stretched. After a moment Thelia tilted her head at Sara to which the man turned his full attention too. So that is how the game was going to be played thankfully Sara had plenty of money from her time at Tanya's.

After the payment was settled Thelia took the key and head up to the room in question. This left Sara a chance to speak with the waitress with the tattoo. Catching her attention the woman looked at her and tilted her head hearing Sara but not answering. Frowning the woman scribbled down something on her note pad before letting Sara read it. "Sorry my tongue was cut off and I can't speak to you. But please if you have an order take a table and I will be with you shortly. As for the girls they are kind and over generous. They look to be adventurers." Unless Sara had anymore questions the girl would give a slight bow and head off to the kitchen.

Sara smirked and deposited the coins in the man's hands. She would get Thelia for that later. Then she spoke to the waitress and received a surprise when she found out the woman had no tongue. Still, she got as much info as she hoped to get and then compensated the woman for her trouble. "How terrible, I'm so sorry. Here, for your trouble." She gave the woman a denarius and let her go about her business.

Since she hadn't gotten much from the waitress, Sara decided to go and introduce herself to the women. Walking right up to the table with her best smile once again and pulled up a chair. "Hey there, ladies, the name's Sara. I couldn't help noticing that you all look like fellow adventurers and I just wanted to introduce myself and find out what a group like you is doing out here. Hell, you might even be traveling the same way my group is in which case I'd be quite interested in traveling with you. Safety in numbers and all that."

At the offer of the coin the girl put up her hands and pointed to a sign. 'No tips' The elf woman put a hand on Sara shoulder and smiled at her before heading off to take more orders. A voice at another table called out "Hey Sue over here we are ready to order." Heading to the table with the girls she saw the trusty dog look up at her approach and pant happily even wagging his tale at the sight of her. The Dark haired kitsune eyed her suspiciously and the blonde knight just gave her a measured look. The maid for all intents seemed focused on the rogue but stole a glance at Sara. The spirit user noted a predators gleam in her eye much like Aya when she was hungry. The orange haired girl smiled back and began to speak.....

Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

Easter Egg!/Surprise! :D

Rikke blinked at the barrage of words the sudden stranger let loose. At first the girls looked among themselves, Rhea and Janet looking Sara over suspiciously with Venise only casting a brief glance at her.... the rogue herself meanwhile, covered her mouth and giggled kindly, before smiling to their newfound friend "Oh... well... hello." she'd look among her company "Sara, you've caught us at a really bad time." the rogue smiled sheepishly at the stranger "I'll be right with you alright. We just need to discuss something among ourselves..." she'd nod and with a sly smirk the rogue hoped the girl accepted to wait briefly until certain dealings were done.

The girls had already briefly discussed which room goes to who, all that was left was to say goodbye to their Kitsune friend and rest for the night... or well, that was the initial plan "You two heading to bed already?" Rikke glanced to Sara, but she likely couldn't quite change the tired duos mind... while Janet was likely spurred to rest and relax, Vens rush to the bedroom likely had much more questionable motives "Mhm you two go on ahead." she'd wave them off, before turning to the earlier stranger and approaching her.

Be it at a bar, her table or somewhere in between Rikke approached Sara with a kind smile "Long trip. Needed everyone to sette to their rooms." the heroine snickered kindly and looked to Sara "Sara, right? I'm Rikke.' the rogue smiled brightly "A pleasure to meet someone who's not a lusty demon or a raving bandit."

"As for your previous question, we're heading out on a rescue mission. It's... a bit of a personal mission for me." Rikke glanced down thoughtfully, before looking to Sara.

Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

Sara's reception from half of the party was lukewarm at best. However the orange-haired rogue seemed interested in talking, and the one in the maid's outfit seemed similar to Aya in her hungry gaze. Still, the spirit wielder honored the rogue's request and waited off to the side while she conducted business with her party before the group dispersed and went off to their rooms. Once the rest of her group had dispersed, the rogue came over and joined her at the bar.

When Rikke introduced herself, Sara grinned and extended her hand. "Well I am delighted to meet you, Rikke. You certainly keep interesting company. And indeed, it is a pleasure to meet someone who isn't a bandit such as yourself." She listened as the young woman explained what she was doing, in very general terms. With a slight frown she replied, "Well that sounds very important and personal. I will not try to tempt you away from such a noble sounding mission. As it happens, I am in a similar position. I currently find myself heading to the city known as Endus to rescue a nymph who was stolen from her mother by slavers when she was very young." Sara gave it a moment's thought before adding, "I don't suppose you are familiar with the city?"

Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

Rikke seemed to be aware of the way they treated the approach, thus struggling not to keep a sheepish and slightly guilty smile on her face "Y-Yeah... they're honestly a wonderful bunch. Just we had a REALLY rough trip up to here." she'd keep the smile, listening to Sara speak.

Interestingly enough both of the girls shared their opinion of the other, somehow the two really stood out from the rabble... perhaps it was a strange bond or an aura all adventurers shared? Still where Rikke was vague on her purpose, Sara seemed to be quite forward. Even if they had similarities, their approaches seemed to wary quite a bit.

"Endus?" Rikke blinked and blushed subtly, beaming a smile that clearly hid something the rogue was clearly proud off "Oh... I may have dropped by there recently." she'd snicker and smile, though didn't seem keen to elaborate just what sort of impact her visit there had... heck the girl would probably not believe her even if she did!

"It's a wonderful town. Recently had a sort of a rut, but with the new leadership taking over it's nothing short of divine to visit." Rikke thought briefly, looking to her "Infact...." she'd take a nearby piece of a paper a jot down a note "Here. This should help you get around town more easily." she'd offer her a piece of paper. If Sara read it, the piece of paper only had a few sentences on it "Please take good care of my friend. Signed, Rikke Delaru." it also beared the rogues signature showing that it actually came from her.

"I'm going to save a loved one, you're going to aid someone you possibly just met." Rikke smiled to Sara kindly "Out of the two of us, you're the noble one." she'd wink to her in a encouraging manner.

Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

Sara quirked an eyebrow at the rogue, Rikke's remarks. She seemed a decent enough sort, though clearly knew more than she was telling. Still, Sara could tell that she was good at heart and was inclined to believe what she said. "It's quite alright, we've had our share of difficulties as well."

When talk turned to Endus, Sara was pleasantly surprised to learn that Rikke had recently been there, and even more pleasantly surprised to learn that she was someone of some sort of importance, by her own testimony. Hopefully the note she had written would do the trick. She smiled gratefully, tucking into a pouch at her hip for safe keeping. The kind words she offered were also greatly appreciated. "Thank you, Rikke. I appreciate this, you are too kind. And working to save a loved one is a beautiful and noble endeavor to be sure." She gave the rogue a warm smile to emphasize her point. Still, the note made her positive the roguish woman knew far more than she was telling, but she decided to simply accept the act of kindness and move on.

Of course, since she had traveled from Endus, Sara had a couple of questions for Rikke so that she could get an idea of what they were travelling into. "I can't thank you enough for this note, however if you could tell me two more things I would be quite grateful. Can you tell me if there are any routes I should either avoid or take on my way to Endus? And what of the Silken Princess, what can I expect there? That's where Naomi, the nymph I'm after, currently resides."

Whatever Rikke's response, Sara was very appreciative. "I really can't thank you enough for your help. I have little to offer you but a warning. The path we came along," Sara pulled out her map and indicated where they had come from to Rikke, "there is a daemon fused to a mortal body. A woman with frozen blue skin who brings with her intense cold and an unmistakable feeling of pure evil. Even those without magical or spiritual talent can sense it. I urge you to avoid her at all costs. She is a magical being of incredible power and will drain your soul and kill you if given the chance." After she delivered her warning, she stowed away her map and bowed her head apologetically to Rikke. "I apologize that all I had to offer in return for your help is a warning. I hope it can at least prevent you from encountering the Ice Witch unprepared."

Once their conversation lulled, Sara realized that she had spoken with Rikke for quite awhile since her companions had gone off to bed. "I'm sorry to keep you up. As you said, you have had a long journey, it would be rude of me to keep you from resting with your companions." With a mischievous look, Sara brought the rogue's hand to her mouth and kissed the top of it with a wink. "I thank you again for your time Rikke, and I bid you safe travels." She released the orange-haired woman's hand and stood to return to her room. With a grin at the rogue, she added, "Well, I've got a feisty half-elf to go tame. Fortune smile upon you, Rikke!" With that, Sara would turn and leave to find her room. It was time to go see what she could do with Thelia since the woman had tricked her into paying for their room on her own.

Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

Rikke smiled at the thanks and turned her head lightly listening to the questions "Oh... unfortunately we used a teleportation spell to reach this place." she'd loook to the girl in a sorry fashion "So I can't really advise on any routes."

"Naomi?!" Rikkes eyes seemed to light up, a huge earnest smile appearing on her face "You're... traveling to find Naomi. from the Silken Princess?!" the sudden cries turned a few head, out of annoyance at first, but after seeing the beauty who was making them very few of the visitors seemed to mind. The rogue covered her mouth to hide a huge smile, before turning aside with a huge grin "I've met Naomi! She's safe and well taken care of."

"I er..." the rogue blushed briefly "Had to work... -undercover there for a while. So I may have teamed up with Naomi and her friends, Janet the girl in armor was a close friends of her as well! The girls are well treated there and after a recent uprising, they've gained quite a few new liberties." the mention of her friends name seemed to unlock quite a number of the secrets the rogue held "While I had a few er... misunderstandings in the Silken Princess, the note should earn you a free entrance and an audience with the Mistress." the heroine leaned closer to Sara with a smile "But if Naomi is still there make sure you find Rhea and Rune, you've seen Rhea. The wolfy Kitsune that just left. She's the chief-commander of Endus city... and Rhea well... you'll see. They will help you make sure Naomi is reunited with her mother without any issues."

She'd giggle kindly "So once you reach Endus, you should be fine... just the trip to it will be in your hands." Rikke sighed happily and leaned out "Naomi was a good friend and helped me greatly during my visit in Endus. I'd join you on your trip, but I have to rush and save Jess."

As Sara presented her own offering of thanks to the rogue, the girls mind seemed to still be locked at the sheer amazing coincidence of such a meeting. Rikked turned to Sara and looked her in the eyes with a kind spark "Find Naomi and tell her, her mother is okay and well. Thats all I could ever ask of you, Sara." Rikke glanced up seemingly feeling a beckon from above, just in time as Sara said her goodbyes... coupled with the oddest gesture to boot! Rikke would only giggle in a friendly fashion and hug the odd girl "I wish you a safe trip, Sara." she'd lean out with a huge smile and would head to check what was Ven up to this time... "When you meet her, send Naomi my kindest regards."

Though as the duo separated Rikke would completely forget about the warning Sara had made. As the next day dawned the rogue would gather her party and leave... taking the exact same route the strange adventurer had warned her about.

Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

With their conversation ending the two kindred souls parted. Watching Rikke climb her way up the stairs she caught a glimpse of a mostly naked woman waiting to surprise the girl just inside her door. Her own room had a sexy lady in it as well but Sara doubted she would be in the nude. However this time the spirit user got lucky and caught Thelia as she was pulling on a fresh shirt. For the most part she had remained bra less only having the one to fit her new chest. The gift from Sara had quickly gotten sweaty after a day or two and the girl to save some irritation had begun wearing her old very tight shirts to work as a makeshift bra. As she entered the assassin quickly looked her direction a gun already in hand as she stood half in her shirt. Seeing Sara she grumbled and finished getting the garment on.

Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

Sara's eyes bugged out of her head at the reaction from Rikke. What were the chances that not only had this girl come from Endus, but also personally knew Naomi? The circumstances of their relationship sounded a little...lecherous, but Sara was willing to let such a juicy tale go since Rikke could tell her about the woman she was seeking. It was good to hear that she was apparently well taken care of. She promised to give Naomi Rikke's regards, as well as to meet up with these Rhea and Rune characters. She had already seen Rhea, the kitsune rogue, and true to form she was interested in seeing her again. The purple-skinned wielder wondered if her wolf-ears were ticklish. And what could she do with that tail?

Sara broke herself out of her musings as she returned to her room and was pleasantly surprised by a view of Thelia's expanded assets. Acting unfazed by the pistol she said, "Easy there, I just came for the view." She didn't bother to hide her appraising look at the half-elf's breasts. "Anyway, let's get these beds together, I didn't cover the cost of the room for two small beds when we could be sleeping on a king-sized bed." With or without Thelia's help, Sara would move the beds together.

Once it was done, Sara added to Thelia, "Well, ready to go find Aya and make sure she isn't getting into too much trouble?"

After a moment Thelia sighed seeing that Sara was going to do it no mater what and helped her. With the beds together the duo headed down stairs to a much quieter scene. Most of the previous patrons had already left and judging by one of the outside windows a snow storm had just picked up. Shortly after that Aya came in absolutely covered in snow. Brushing herself off and hanging up her cloak to dry the succubus smiled and presented a hefty bag of coin to her party. "Sadly this town is a little short on cash so I got a couple vouchers from the outfitter for when we leave. All said and done we got about 50 denari in here, with another 50 in credit awaiting us." Moving over the girl sat at a table next to the fireplace and relaxed and ordering a hot drink from Sue.

Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

"Thanks Thelia!" Sara gave the half-elf an innocent smile and followed her out of the room, admiring the way her leather pants clung to her ass on the way out. She felt the urge to push the girl up against the wall, pulling her hips to her as she fucked her from behind. She sighed and let go of the delightful mental image as she walked into the tavern just in time to see Aya walk in. From the looks of things it was good they had gotten in when they had, the snow storm was picking up.

"Oooh very nice!" Sara jokingly fawned over Aya, pawing at her breasts as she praised her. "I don't know what we'd do without such a sharp sales-woman to keep us so well funded...well fucked." She whispered that last part, keeping it between Aya and Thelia. With a smile she backed off took a chair next to Aya. "Well we've got our room, pushed the beds together so we could all stay warm tonight, and by the looks of that storm it looks like we're going to need the extra body heat."

After ordering a drink with Aya, Sara recounted her conversation with Rikke, "I met an interesting person in here earlier, she came from Endus, but unfortunately she was teleported here so she couldn't tell me anything about our route there. Of course that makes me wonder how far I can stretch my own power, but that wasn't the interesting part.." She then told Aya and Thelia about how Rikke had actually met Naomi and showed them the note she had given her that might help her with the locals. "I'm not sure if her influence is as powerful as she says, but it hopefully won't hurt to show it around when we get there. Oh and she gave us some names of people to look up when we get there. One of them was a cute looking kitsune named Rhea, and the other was some girl named Rune who I haven't met yet. Regardless, I'm pretty excited!"

After hearing the girls' responses, Sara would follow up by asking, "So, anything you guys want to do tonight, or should we go ahead and head to bed so we can rest up for tomorrow?"

Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

Aya winked at Sara as the user openly fondled her which brought a slight cough from the bar keep who was watching them out of the corner of his eye. Hearing what Thelia and herself had been up to Aya clapped. I get dibs on the middle." This brought a slight scowl from Thelia. "I think not." This brought a giggle from Aya who had that look in her eye. After getting their drinks Sara began to share the info she had gotten from Rikke. "Humm the snow is gonna be pretty bad I take it. Oh we could rent a sled from the outfitters I think he has one left." Thelia sat deep in thought as Sara went on about the other info. Aya was thankful that their target was safe and sound. Though she doubted the heft of this Rikke's prominence even stating so openly. "This brought a bemused ha from Thelia. "If she knows Rhea then I'm fairly sure she is mostly on the level. Rhea is the commander of the Black Wargs one of the toughest mercenary armies in the region. They say that she leads them into battle herself and none have gotten the better of her." Thelia looked to see if either had a reaction before the notes of a lyre reached their ears. It seemed Sue the mute waitress was playing or at lest getting ready to play.

Re: Soul Searching (sturm) Gmed by ranger

Sara could hardly suppress her grin as Aya manipulated Thelia into claiming the middle of the bed for herself, putting her right in the middle of their horny trap. The succubus sure had a natural talent for manipulation, and Sara was grateful to have her as a partner in crime. If they could seduce the notorious half-elf assassin, she doubted there was anything the two of them couldn't seduce.

She was surprised by Thelia's knowledge of Rhea. It sounded like meeting Rikke was more fortuitous than she had thought, the leader of such a strong mercenary army that they had Thelia's respect was doubtless someone to be feared and respected. "Well she certainly looked tough..." Sara remarked. Further comments were forestalled when Sara heard Sue start up on the lyre.

"Ohh music! It's been too long since I've had a chance to dance." She stood up and extended a hand to Thelia, inviting her to join her as her dance partner. "Would you do me the honor, madame?" She put a joking emphasis on the word, 'madame', to see if some humor would warm Thelia to the prospect, however if she declined then Sara would just shrug and instead extend the offer to Aya.
