Re: Crimson Queen (Mirchie)

Mirchell: HP = 35/87, PP = 44, EP = 6/47, Status = Badly Injured, Low on Energy

Rolls
Mirchell's last gasp!
Attack: Hit.
Damage: 3 + 2 + 41 - 8 = 38 damage.

Mirchell gains another 4 exp!

The angel heals Mirchell!
Healing: 6 + 3 + 8 = 17 * 2 = 34 HP restored!

Mirchell's would-be killer, overconfident in his moment of victory, didn't realize that the demoness had some fight left in her before she had already jumped to her feet and begun her swing. By then it was far too late for the alien to even begin to dodge, and her blade sunk into its flesh and tore past its ribs in one wrenching cut, ending up stuck inside of the monster as she proved too weak to split him cleanly in half. It dropped onto its back several feet away, taking her blade with it, and with that Mirchell was left to sink to a crouch. The darkness encroaching on her vision grew, and within a few moments Mirchell knew that she would pass out, and that there was nothing that she could do about it... And that she would likely bleed to death in the interim.

"I could leave you to die here," the angel said softly, but then Mirchell felt a hand on her shoulder. Energy suddenly suffused her body, and the flow of blood down her back slowed and stopped. She stepped away from Mirchell as the healing magic worked through her body, nowhere near returning her full strength but at least banishing the darkness and the threat of immediate death from her vision. Now it was the angel who was in dire straights, as her robes were now soaked through with blood, and if Mirchell so much as looked in her direction it would be plain that the celestial was on the verge of passing out herself.

Re: Crimson Queen (Mirchie)

Mirchell managed a weak grin at the satisfying feeling of her blade crunching through bone and gut, she felt the spray of ichor against her chest and face, and revelled in it, though she was far too weak to be overly exuberant about it. The albino remained standing for but a few moments, to make it quite clear that she was the victor here, before her trembling muscles gave out, and the demoness collapsed to her knees, ash rising up about her, sticking to the blood which soaked her form, caking the wound in her back. Her wings were almost entirely limp now, dragging helplessly across the floor as she gazed down at her defeated opponent, jaw hanging open and breathing deeply. The glow of her eyes faded still, until the red iris' appeared normal by mortal standards, and with it, her vision faded to black. Finally, Mirchell fell forwards, flat onto her face in the dirt, sending up another, very final puff of ash.

She was still for a few moments, before her fingers twitched, and she reached up slightly, placing her hand onto the ground, refusing to give up even as her body bled out. She could feel the icy touch of death around her heart, that which normally blazed so comfortingly warm, and it frightened her. A low whimper escaped the albino's lips, accompanied by a bubble of blood which broke in her mouth, drooling crimson down over her pallid grey chin. She heard the angel speak, and those words gave her another, if brief, burst of fury, and the demoness began to push herself up again, fingers closing around handfuls of ash, before her body gave up, refusing to bow to her will any further, and the albino collapsed once more, breathing raggedly, and coughing slightly as more blood bubbled past her lips.

Mirchell was completely ignorant of the angel's hand upon her, but as warmth suffused her body, she blinked, before wincing, her long ears flattened against her skull, horns gouging twin holes in the ashen field as she whimpered again, but then her wings twitched, and slowly, the bat-like appendages began to drag themselves out of the dirt, to fold up behind her back. She closed her eyes again, silent for a few moments longer as warmth spread throughout her body. Her fingers curled, her tongue tasted her own blood upon her lips, and her tail managed a weak little flick, before the albino finally managed to get a grip in the ash, and she shakily pushed herself up to her knees, coughing up black dust that had congealed into a sickly ball with her saliva and blood. She winced again, her throat raw and sore, but then the demoness looked across at her Celestial 'saviour'. "You could have, and would have been praised as a demon slayer for it. But you did not." she said in a low growl, fingers clenching instinctively again, and her tail flicking about with increasing agitation as warmth properly suffused her powerful muscles. "Likewise... I could do the same to you... You do not look healthy... Angel. But I will not either. An eye for an eye, and a hand for a hand..." she continued on in a hoarse, low growl, as she braced herself, before yowling in defiance as the albino pushed herself to her feet in one swift motion, standing straight upright and tilting her head back to the sky, breathing deep of the cool, gore-scented air.

Mirchell took a few moments then, closing her eyes, and when she opened them, the glow had returned to her iris', a gentle, steady crimson emanation from her eyes that showed easily enough where she was looking in dim light. She looked to the fallen aliens, and grimaced. A meal was a meal, she did not want to be picky right now. "I have no skill in healing arts, only in murderous arts. I intend to feed. And you can start with your name, followed by what I can do to repay the unfortunate debt I find myself dragged into." she continued on, before turning to the side to cough violently, bending over double as she spat up saliva, phlegm, blood and ash in a gruesome clump, shaking her horned head before she stood upright again with a groan. "My name is Mirchell." she added, almost as an afterthought, placing her hands upon her thighs for balance as she turned towards the wounded celestial, still struggling slightly for her own breath.

"Hah! As if you'd..... Even stand a chance against me!" the angel gasped, though Mirchell could easily tell that she was barely standing at this point. Placing one hand on her breast and the other on her side, she muttered something and presumably used the same spell that she had just cast upon Mirchell, as her bleeding stopped and she stood just a little bit straighter. Despite her bravado, she was just as badly battered as Mirchell still felt as far as the demoness could tell, and after a moment she winced as small streams of red started to filter down her side once more. That occurred about when Mirchell doubled over to cough up a rather foul ball of ash, blood, and other assorted substances that had somehow ended up down her throat, and the angel blanched at the disgusting sight.

"... Ahh to hell with it," she said tiredly, "The name's Simone... And I guess you can start by buying the drinks. You can make yourself not... Well, you know... Look like a demon, right? Because if you can't, then this is going to get really awkward really fast. I don't know if I could take the bombardment of bad jokes that'd follow us or the idiots that would come up to hit on us just for the laughs." Though she had started off speaking in a very official tone back when they'd first met, Simone was now speaking very plainly, to the point that she was almost being friendly. "I get quite enough of those.... Anyway, are you good for a walk, or do you need another pick-me-up?"

Re: Crimson Queen (Mirchie)

A shiver ran down Mirchell's spine as she tilted her head back, flexing her powerful shoulders, and stretching her wings out, the leathery membrane flapping slightly as it caught the breeze. Her nostrils flared slightly, and then the demoness coughed again, though at least this time nothing unpleasant emerged as a result. She had had quite enough of the angel's bravado for now, and though she could feel how much her senses had been dulled, it still got on her nerves. The albino was quiet for a few moments, and she turned away from Simone, reaching up to run a hand through her dirty white hair.

"I do believe you need to take a second look... 'Simone'," she began, as if pondering how to pronounce the angel's name properly. "I am not exactly of the inclination to carry currency. And it seems that your options for drinks are limited to blood and water, at your preference." she said coldly, eyebrows arching as she looked back over her shoulder, tucking her wings away behind her back again. "As for hiding myself... Yes, I can. But not now. It can be a tiresome spell to maintain... I need to feed." she added, frowning as she looked around, and then began to walk over to the last hunter to have fallen, the one whom had her sword still buried in it's shattered ribcage, and the albino knelt down besides it, nostrils flaring again as she bent over the corpse, gently prising her sword free of the guts and shattered bone while she gave the corpse a sniffing over, to see if it's soul had abandoned it's body yet. Regardless as to whether or not she could devour it's soul or not, the demoness was still hungry in a more mortal sense, and so she began to examine the corpse, wondering which bit would be the meatiest, she hadn't tried eating an alien before.

(Sim-own)

Simone let out a sigh and shook her head, "Well... That's disappointing. I think I'll pass thanks, given that there's another town not an hour away. You can go to those without setting them on fire, right?" She arched an eyebrow at Mirchell as the demoness knelt over one of the dead hunters, finding that its soul had already fled its body. There were barely even traces of energy left, but at least the meat was relatively intact. Good enough for her to eat if she wasn't picky, and was in the mood to experiment in the art of cuisine. The arms looked to be the meatiest portion of the alien beast, but as she examined it she found the angel hanging over her shoulder, and she wore an incredulous expression as she asked; "What... Are you doing?"

Re: Crimson Queen (Mirchie)

Mirchell grunted in distaste, looking down at her hand, flexing the fingers and turning them over, admiring the sight of her muscles flexing beneath the skin. She was quiet for a few moments, these damn things were too quick shed their bodies on death. She preferred mortals. Sighing, she looked over at Simone, her long ears twitching in annoyance. "What gives you reason to believe I would set it on fire? For your information, 'Simone', I have not set fire to a building in years, and that was not even on this plane of existence. So yes, I can visit some dirty little human town without burning it down." she snapped, baring her sharp teeth as she stood up, the point of her large sword carving a gash in the charred fields.

"As for... What I'm doing, you'll see. I'm not quite as picky as you are." she said in a calmer tone of voice, even as she raised her sword over her head, and grunted as she swung it down in a deadly cleave, neatly severing the Hunter's arm at the shoulder. Grimacing, the albino wiped her sword partly clean on the beastie's other arm, before she returned it to it's scabbard, and she sighed, dragging the arm partway away from it's body. Mirchell inhaled deeply of the scent of blood, smiling as her tail flicked out behind her, before the demoness pointed her right palm at the severed limb, and furrowed her brow deeply, as a burst of crimson flame erupted from her bare palm, chargrilling the arm instantly.

Licking her lips, Mirchell clenched her hand into a fist, and shook the tiredness from her muscles as she bent over to pick it up, and then took a bite. Her sharp fangs tore through the roasted flesh at the biceps, blood drooling down her chin as she ate the alien's meat, her brow furrowing into a deep scowl as she did so. "Bleh, these things taste awful." she admitted, turning around briefly. "Where is this village? We can start walking there, I'll hide for you when I'm finished eating." she added, looking over at Simone and frowning, before she tore another chunk of charred flesh from the arm, wiping her lips on the back of her hand.

Simone shot Mirchell a very skeptical look at her claim, but didn't offer any further comment on the subject, instead giving a slight nod accompanied by a sigh. "If you say so," the angel replied tiredly, "I'll just have to take your word on that." The angel stepped back as Mirchell drew out her sword, a slight frown on her face that became a disgusted grimace as the demoness chopped off one of the alien's legs. That expression only got worse as she set the severed arm alight with her magical flames, flash frying the meaty limb.

"That's.... Disgusting...." she muttered as Mirchell chewed on the burned meat, making no effort to hide her revulsion. "Right.... Just, uhhhh.... Yeah. Do that." Simone turned around and started walking, saying over her shoulder; "Just follow me... It isn't far, and I'll tell you when we're getting close."

Re: Crimson Queen (Mirchie)

Mirchell let out a grimace as she jerked her head back, sharp teeth sawing flesh and muscle from the alien's limb. She grunted in response to Simone though, reaching up to wipe her lips on the back of her hand. "And I am hungry, 'Simone'. I have no soul to feast upon, but a more fleshy substitute will work well. Unless you care to offer yourself up, of course." she snapped, spitting into the ash as she raised the charred limb to take another bite, even as she turned to follow the blonde angel.

The taller demoness did not take long though, and soon she was chomping on scorched and bloody bones, blood and gore smeared across the grey skin on her chin. "Oh, that is much better..." she rumbled under her breath when she had finished, sighing as she dropped the devoured limb into the ash with a soft puffing sound. "Still... If you... Give me a minute." the albino added, a frown spreading across her features as she looked towards the burning farmstead. "There will not be any salvageable human goods or clothing in there will there?" she asked in a disappointed tone of voice, raising her hand and rubbing her chin idly. "I could make myself look more... Feasible in human eyes, 'Simone', but I cannot change my armour. I have yet to find a human quite as tall as me, male or female, and it might appear slightly odd. But then, I suppose no human would dare question an angel wandering through their town, would they?" she mused, chucking in amusement to herself as she shook her horned head, her glowing red eyes glittering almost pleasantly, a mischievous grin upon the albino's features as she tossed another glance back at the farmstead. "Regardless, 'Simone'... Lead the way... I will cope somehow." she added with a little shrug, gesturing down towards the road.

Re: Crimson Queen (Mirchie)

Shivering slightly at Mirchell's grunted response to the angel's reaction to her hunger, Simone shot back; "I think I'd need a few drinks before that had any chance of happening... Maybe a few kegs." Mirchell's question about the clothes caused Simone to shake her head sadly, "Nothing left but ashes over there. You do what you have to do to make yourself look... Well, like you're not going to set the place on fire or start killing people for your own amusement."

Simone led Mirchell down a relatively straight road, the trip being fairly uneventful as the blond angel opted to simply not look at Mirchell. "We're almost there," she stated suddenly, and the demoness could indeed smell the scent of civilization over the ashes and blood that caked the two of them. If necessary Simone would pause and wait out Mirchell's transformation, commenting on it if necessary, but then they would continue down the road a short ways before a walled community would appear just a short ways down the road. When they approached the gatehouse, and a man's voice would call out from one of the wooden guard towers, hefting a rifle that he aimed at Simone's chest. "Who goes there!"

Simone, not seemingly bothered by this to any great extent, spread her white winds wide and called back; "Weary travelers, who want no further violence after what we've already had. I am Simone, and this is..." she paused and glanced at Mirchell, prompting the hidden demoness to speak.

Re: Crimson Queen (Mirchie)

Mirchell quirked her white eyebrow inquisitively at Simone's response, and she snickered to herself, shaking her head and reaching up to run her hands over her horns, almost affectionately. "We will see about that, 'Simone'. Besides... I fail to see what is wrong with my current appearance, mhm? Do I not look like some saviour of humanity?" she proffered mockingly, spreading her large, batlike wings out behind herself. The demoness swiftly folded them away again, and nodded, keeping easy pace with Simone along the road until the warning was given.

Mirchell nodded then, and she cricked her neck to one side, unbuckling her swordbelt and discarding it to the floor. She hunched then, and grimaced. Her batlike wings flared out again, before twisting slightly, pointing outwards before they began to fade, and retreat into her back. The same happened for her tail, and the horns sprouting from the demoness' head, retreating back into the fringe of her dirty-white hair. At the same time, the albino shrunk in height as well, until she was a 'mere' six foot. Her fangs shrunk slightly too, but retained their sharp points within her shrunken jaw. By the time Mirchell was done, she did rather look the part of a human, though slightly mis-matched in some regards. Her face and hair were still the same, but her demonic appendages, including her elf-like ears, had shrunken away. Her armour looked oversized, and awkward, but it was not overly obvious at first glance, as the demoness went about tightening the leather straps that were yet unslashed from alien claws. When she was done, and the albino had picked up her greatsword, swinging it over her back and securing it in place there in a more conventional position for a zweihander, Mirchell appeared much more like an extremely well-off adventurer in her ornate, if slightly oversized, armour, with the polished handle of a sword sticking over her shoulder. "Satisfactory enough?" she had posed, quirking an eyebrow as she moved to follow Simone once more. Her eyes still glowed slightly, but it had dimmed, and it was unlikely any regular human would detect it except in very low ambient lighting.

Onwards they travelled, up towards the meagre little town up ahead. The stench of human civilisation filled Mirchell's still-sensitive nostrils, and she winced slightly, but made no comment. Her belly rumbled too, longing for better food than flash-grilled alien, along with different kinds of hunger. Distracted as she was, Mirchell nearly walked straight into Simone's wing as they spread out in front of her. She halted herself at the last moment though, and ducked underneath the white plumage. "I am Michelle. I am tired and hungry, and have no quarrel here." she said bluntly, looking straight up into the guard tower with an air of vague irritation at the delay. Her voice had changed slightly with her transformation too. It was somewhat more feminine, a slightly higher pitch, less of the guttural sound that normally accompanied the demoness' tones, and fit in with her new guise quite well.

All that Mirchell received from the angel upon her mocking question was a quick scornful glance, after which Simone simply proceeded onward. She offered little more than a roll of her eyes upon observing Mirchell's transformation, after which she turned about and headed on, saying over her shoulder; "Good enough."

The guardsmen, upon their arrival at the village and Mirchell's appearance in the open, still looked less than convinced. "Tough crowd..." Simone muttered under her breath, but after a moment the man lowered his rifle while still glaring at them suspiciously. "You lot got coin for an inn? We ain't lettin no one in to squat, don't care what color their wings is!" he called back down at them, and Simone glanced at Mirchell once again before replying; "Yes, we've got money!"

The guardsman grinned down at them, "How much yah got? There's a toll yah see!"

Re: Crimson Queen (Mirchie)

It was Mirchell's turn to roll her eyes now, she raised a white eyebrow curiously as the guardsmen spoke. Her senses had not diminished from transformation, and her nostrils flared as she intook the scents, for lack of a better term, of this place. It stank of dirty humans, and alcohol, even from here, and she did not wish to know what it would be like in the actual inn. The guardsman however, was irritating her swiftly, and her nostrils flared, she could feel her shoulders flex out of an instinct to spread her wings. "Insufferable wretches..." she grumbled under her breath, her left hand flexing, itching. From what she had seen of humanity thus far, it was not hard for her to deduce that this man was simply greedy, and wanted their coin for himself. She could not be certain though, humans were simply too varied in personality, even if their bodies were all uninterestingly the same. It made them rather difficult for her to comprehend.

To her though, it sounded like Simone was bluffing, and so the disguised demoness took a single step forwards, to get the rifle-wielding human's attention. She was distrustful of those strange contraptions. They spewed fire, yet did not reek of magic, and she had seen what damage they could do. Instead she reached up, and wrapped her left hand about the handle of her sword, resting upon her back. "I do not have coin per se, but I am certain some merchant would be willing to barter. If not, I have no intention of sleeping rough in this place." she said, in a voice that sounded very much like forced calm. She did look a strange sight, in all truth, though Simone was not much different. Her oversized, strangely coloured armour making it clear that she was not affiliated with any known human faction, that much was certain, as if her frame, still tall by human standards, was not enough already.

The human scowled for a moment at Mirchell's reply, and opened his mouth to speak, but then a grin stole his face. "No money eh?" he said, "Well, there's certainly ways around that in here... But how yah gonna pay the toll without coin, two lovely little things like you?" he called lewdly, and Simone scoffed incredulously back at him, muttering under her breath; "He can't possibly be serious!"

Re: Crimson Queen (Mirchie)

Mirchell's expression darkened as the guardsman continued to speak, a visible shadow passing across her feminine features, and her eyes narrowed, the crimson glow that emanated from her iris' intensified dangerously. Her free right hand clenched into a fist, the knuckles cracking audibly, and the disguised demoness' nostrils flared. She took another step forwards, before she blinked. The glow in her eyes faded again to a subtle, barely noticeable level, and she took a deep, slow breath.

After a few seconds, her left hand opened again from the grip of her greatsword, and dropped down to her side. "I do not wish to have reason to quarrel. Certainly the two of us will not cause harm within your town. My companion is an angel, in case you had failed to notice. Consider yourself graced that we put up with your talk. Now. May we enter?" she said in a tone which clearly expressed forced calm, while inside her mind, the two halves clashed. Her nature as a demon wished to accept the offer made, but her own personality and 'virtues', such as they were, raged at the mere concept, and urged her to rip out this offensive cretin's tongue in exchange for his vile intentions. So all in all, she was fairly calm, in comparison to her fury at the aliens earlier, and it was not an overly difficult strain for the disguised demoness to twist her lips into a smile.

Though it seemed impossible, Mirchell might have sworn that she saw the guardsman's smile twitch slightly as the sound of her knuckles cracking echoed through the dark woods. Given that the fires of the last village were still visible in the distance, it was entirely possible that he thought them quite capable of violence, and while Mirchell obviously was, Simone would likely have something to say about it if she opted to slaughter the rude little rifleman. The man remained silent for a moment following the disguised demon's reply to his lewd offer, prompting Simone to add; "You've no right to go harassing travelers while at your post! I'd as soon cut it off as handle it, so just open the bloody door already!"

He seemed to think better of angering the winged woman, and after fingering his rifle for another moment he called down; "Alright, open up the door for 'em!" A door set into the wall next to the gate opened a moment later, and another man stepped out holding a lantern over his head. He gestured for them to come forth, and Simone started forward immediately. Presumably doing the same, Mirchell would follow the angel into the human village, receiving a number of distrusting and threatening looks from the half dozen guards they passed before being let out through another door into the town proper. The place wasn't exactly bustling, but they had a pair of inns to choose from, one run down and cheap and the other marginally nicer looking. Simone turned back to her, wrapping her wings around herself like a cloak to minimize the number of stares that she was attracting as she quietly said; "Alright.... You really don't have any money, do you?"

Re: Crimson Queen (Mirchie)

Watching the guardsman's reaction with her supernatural eyes, the smile on Mirchell's lips creased upwards yet further, into a wicked-looking grin. She did so enjoy preying on the minds of the lesser races. From where he glanced up in his post, it was not hard for the albino to deduce what he was looking at, and if he wanted to believe that she was responsible, or capable of such wholesale destruction, well... She was not going to stop him, that was for certain. Her shoulders flexed again, the natural instinct was to spread her wings, but with their presence currently absent, the disguised demoness could only roll her shoulders beneath the oversized armour. Her eyebrows did arch upwards in mild surprise though, as Simone spoke, and she looked over her shoulder briefly. She had not expected the angel to be quite so prepared to threaten mortalkind, though the notion otherwise did please the demoness, and even more so as the guardsman agreed to open the gate. "Good, very good." she cooed softly, the grin spreading across her lips yet further as the way into the town was opened.

Swiftly, Mirchell moved to follow her celestial companion into town, looking down at her left hand, and flexing her fingers briefly as she did so, before clenching into a fist, her knuckles cracking again as they passed through the palisade and into the town proper. As they passed through, the stench smacked Mirchell's sensitive nose all the harder, and she winced slightly, her brow furrowing as she narrowed her nostrils. She resisted the urge to react more strongly than that though, refusing to lower herself in front of these pitiful humans, much less damage her pride in front of Simone. So instead, the albino narrowed her glowing red eyes, looking around at the uncomfortable, distrustful guards, and she grimaced unpleasantly. She did not try and wave them off as she would have rather liked to though, and instead she strode forwards, looking across at the blonde angel as she did so. "My apologies, I did not intend to come across as a jester. No, I do not have coin." she said with an air of annoyance, rather missing the presence of her own wings, but for quite the opposite reason as Simone, she would have rather enjoyed watching the reaction to her own batlike wings unfurling, but she could rather easily guess that getting chased out of town with burning torches and some sort of religious artifacts was not a part of Simone's agenda. Instead, she looked around again, at the two Inns within easy sight, and she frowned. "You probably know better than I. What options do we have?" she asked quietly, pressing her hands together to stretch her fingers and wrists, the joints cracking once more. It felt rather cold now, away from the burning farmstead, to her grey skin, her belly, face, arms and around her knees bare to the elements. The warmth of her own body was enough to make sure the demoness was not uncomfortable, but she still did not particularly like the chill that the breeze carried against her bare skin.

"Not many," Simone replied immediately, sighing, "Well, not many that we'd actually TAKE... I suppose there's always prostitution, extortion, and thievery. As it is, unless you're willing to pay for your rest with menial labor, we'd be stuck with mercenary work or suckering some other poor bastard into paying for us... Or selling something, if you've got anything worth selling."

Re: Crimson Queen (Mirchie)

Mirchell frowned, and then her features twisted into a scowl as Simone spoke. She shook her head slightly, looking back over her shoulder towards the town entrance, and a sigh escaped her lips, surprisingly gently. "I fail to see anything wrong with extortion, or thievery, for that matter, considering the other options." she said in a low tone, so as to not be heard by the nearby humans. "Besides, I thought humans had some sort of reverence for your kind. Would it not be possible to pull some of those strings, and have them dance the merry dance?" she added, smirking slightly as she looked forwards again. The albino demoness paused, grimacing as she adjusted her breastplate, oversized on her diminished disguise, and made all the more awkward by the severed straps at her back. "Everything I own should be worth considerable coin, 'Simone'. I would be surprised if there were not some merchant wanting to buy it, but that does not mean I am keen to part with it. Besides that, the only option I would consider would be war work. Humans always have dirty work they want someone else to do for them. Or if you fancied another walk, there are valuables on the hunters at that... What do you call it, a... 'farmstead'?" she asked, quirking an eyebrow inquisitively at the blonde angel. "Skins, hearts, and anything in those humans home. It's not like they need it any more." she added, flicking her head back idly, and tilting her head to one side, turning her faintly glowing gaze out over the town, observing the inhabitants still scurrying about, and trying to hide her distaste at the whole situation, something that was easier on a transformed face than it would have been on her real features.

"Uck.... Look, we can't go around stealing anything, alright!? And I'm not just going to... To go around asking for handouts either! Honestly, begging!?" Simone replied exasperatedly. The angel sighed and shook her head, rubbing at her one closed eye as if her head pained her. "While I don't exactly fancy talking to that guardsman again, I guess going back is our only real choice. You know what... You wait here, I'll just go and get them as quickly as I can," she spread her wings and gave Mirchell a stern look, saying her next bit loudly and commandingly, "Just wait right here, understand! Don't talk to anyone, don't break anything... Just, wait... Alright?"

Mirchell didn't even get a chance to respond before the angel's wings gave a powerful flap, hurtling her up into the air as the humans around them gave cries of terror and awe. She was gone mere seconds later, flying off towards the site of their battle and the alien remains that waited there, leaving the disguised demon all on her lonesome in the midst of the human village.

Re: Crimson Queen (Mirchie)

"Why not? They obviously don't need it..." the demoness began, before blinking as Simone continued, a look of annoyance crossed her features as she was scolded so condescendingly. Her shoulders flexed again, and her fists clenched at her sides. "Do not think so poorly of me, ang-" she began, her voice sinking into a lower, grimmer tone, but it was quickly interrupted as Simone took off, the dust and dirt that arose from her lift-off forcing the albino to lift her arm to shield her eyes, the short ponytail behind her head waving about in the downdraft.

Mirchell was, however, quicker to recover than the other humans nearby, and she straightened up, her lips curling back into a disgusted grimace as she watched the retreating angel. And it wasn't as if she had much choice otherwise, she would most likely find herself full of whatever those human weapons launched before she could even finish her shapeshifting. So for a moment, Mirchell stood there, clenching her jaw to the point it almost hurt, her knuckle joints cracking again, before she turned away with a "Bah!" of disgust, and she stormed away. She could feel a headache forming, and the albino raised a hand to press against her skull, grimacing, and she shook her head. The blonde cyclops was getting increasingly on her nerves, despite the respect that Mirchell could afford to her for other deeds. "Don't break anything, don't talk to anyone..." she grumbled under her breath, looking around with faintly glowing eyes she was damned if she would take orders from some stuck-up 'celestial', that was for certain. At least for now, even if it was not entirely intentional, the disguised demoness stuck to the main, open roads, armoured feet sending up puffs of dirt as she stomped about, under the pretence of investigating the available buildings, though in all honesty she was just trying to calm herself down, and gain control over the rising hunger she felt, with all those warm bodies surrounding her.
