"Thank the divines!" Riley sighed with relief, gripping Jennys pam tightly "Come on let's move back, make sure you keep an eye on these things they---" it only then hit Riley aswell "J-enny? Why aren't you turning around?" both girls felt dread run down their bodies as the two faced the same enemies... enemies that had them surrounded.

Jenny's friends had yet to make themselves known threw her door. "Probably the same reason your not turning around." Jenny grabbed Riley's hand tightly they where in a pickle for sure. "How many?" Jenny didn't want to know really but given what was happening she had to ask. "My friends haven't come threw the door yet maybe we can bar it or something."

Riley held the heroines hand tight and gulped audibly before answering... "Eleven." a cold chill ran down Jennys back, but the girls eyelids slowly started to become heavier. The shock that kept them open wearing down.

"We need to share our field of view." the showgirl spoke up "Let's keep our backs to a wall and move along it, blinking in turns..." well it was one plan, perhaps Jenny had another one?

"Sounds good" moving with Riley to a wall Jenny kept her eyes on the door she had come from. Finding the wall she turned to confront the freakish puppets. Riley had been right there where indeed elven of them with 4 more about to join the fun. "Well Riley I have to admit your fan club is bigger than mine. Okay squeeze my hand when you want to blink and I will open my eyes and then I will squeeze your hand when I need to blink okay?"

With both girls against the nearby wall they had most of the room covered, the manequins standin in all manner of poses throughout the empty room. All deathly silent and unmoving, still finally finding one of her allies lifted the girls spirit and she just couldn't pass up a chance to brighten the mood.

Riley snickered warmly and squeezed her hand tigher "Jealous~?" she teasingly asked, for a brief moment both girls shunning the actual near death situation they were in.

"But let's not wait till the very last moment, gods forbid we both strain ourself and let these things move..." with that the duo shuffled along the wall, their hands locked together in cooperation and in a fairly warm way "I didn't even know such creatures existed... the things that dwell in these chambers. No mage ever mentioned anything like this..."

Jenny squeezed Riley's hands letting the showgirl know she was going to blink to refresh her stinging eyes. These puppets where so freakish it made Jenny uneasy and poor Sir what was he going threw would they even find him?

Riley nodded firmly at the squeeze "Aye! I'll keep watch." Jenny eyes closed and to her relief opened to the same sight, the creatures were kept at bay by her ally.

The duo continued onwards when suddenly a light breeze ran through them "Eeep~!" the harsh winds caught the showgirl unaware blowing against her open eyes "I'll blink!" her eyes shivered strongly, yet remained open for the time being.

The two were almost to the nearest exit, though it's true direction unclear, it seemed like east to Jenny, but to Riley?

"Alright Riley I'll keep watch." They kept moving supporting each other hoping that the next room would free them of their silent yet murderous fan club.

With the duo exchanging their watch duties, they rapidly and relatively safely reached the next door "I'll keep a look out, you check the next room 'kay, just don't close the door." Riley squeezed Jennys hand tightly "And... don't let go. 'kay?" for a brief moment Rileys voice seemed all too affectionate, if it wasn't for the girls having to watch their enemies Jenny could note a light blush on the showgirls face.

With that Jenny approached the door and slowly opened it, a black shroud blocking her vision into the room beyond "All clear?"

"I can't see in there its pitch black." Jenny held Riley's hand. It would be a leap into the unknown with it black as pitch inside there would be no way of knowing what lay a head. "Hold me tight Riley..." Jenny stretched forward trying pierce the darkness maybe the veil was only temporary or thin. She clung to Riley's arm and hand like a drowning man refusing to let go and probably leaving a fair number of bruises.

"It's better than staying here... these things follow through regular doors." Keeping their gazes to the room, Riley would actually approach Jenny and gently wrap her hands around her body "Let's go!" while her gaze was looking back Jenny almost felt her eyes upon her.

Perhaps ruining Jennys original plan the duo passed through the darkness to reveal a surprising sight...

The room was empty and the darkness behind them closed off completely... but they weren't alone. Opposite the room stood, the girls themselves looking back at the duo just as surprised as the two girls looking back "Is.../Is..." Rileys covered their mouths with one hand and blinked blankly.

Everything was mimed perfectly still it was best not to interact with these images of themselves. "Lets keep moving Riley no telling what might happen if we meet." Hopefully the girls would part ways in peace. Trying to move Riley alone to the next exit if the other girls where true images of each other they should head for the opposite door.

"Lets keep moving Riley no telling what might happen if we meet/Lets keep moving Riley no telling what might happen if we meet" their voices echoed across the room as both Jennys spoke at exactly the same moment. Indeed as the girls made for the east exit the other pair was moving in a mirror fashion to west exit, a true mirror image.

Though as Jenny eyed the other two, she kept her gaze to herself and then turned to the other Riley. Rileys mirror image slowly raised her hand behind Jenny to reveal it shifting and changing into a hook, the woman eyes rapdily changing from friendly to a much more darker expression! If the other Jenny didn't turn around now and stop her, she'll die! But just as shocked as herself the other Jenny was looking to Jennys Riley aswell!

Jenny was still holding Riley's hand and quickly spun the two of them around getting a full view of her Riley hopefully the girl was not some menacing monster intent on clawing her to death. She had just found her friend and prayed that she hadn't been tricked yet agian.

Riley actually broke the grasp and stepped back at Jennys sudden jolt of action, fear clear in her eyes. Her raised hand was not of a hook, but to fix her hat... then again perhaps it was just an illusion to trick her.

The showgirl looked to Jennys hand and mouth carefully, stopping briefly and looking her over, before casting glances to the other duo. Which now were fully normal aswell mirroring their actions.

"We need to get out of this room Im seeing things!" Jenny continued to the door trying not to let her paranoia override her common sense. "Come on Riley quick before we go crazy." Hopefully Riley was still having her faculties and the duo could escape.

Riley kept a cautious gaze at the girl, but slowly began to calm down "T-they're showing it to you too?/T-they're showing it t----" the showgirl smiled to the heroine trusting her and following in close pursuit.

Jenny once more glanced over to the illusions noting the other Jenny doing the same with Rileys hands changing once more about ready to impale the succubus! Still Jenny trusted her companion, taking a leap of faith she didn't turn around!

Soon enough the duo reached the door, looking back the other duo stood in the middle of the room looking to them leave. Riley had been a disfigured hook handed demon and Jenny had huge claws, a toothy jaw aswell! Riley saw the same as Jenny.

The showgirl smiled brightly at the heroine and the duo went onwards to the next room, trusting each other more than foul illusions.

The next room, ofcourse contained something else entirely. A man in a long black cloak looked over the visitors, his grin wide and toothy "My~ aren't we lost?" his voice sent shivers down each girls body, a dark mix of chilling and deathly tones.

And Nope.. Jenny quickly pulled Riley to another exit and heaved open the door. "When will this nightmare end!" Jenny kept her eyes on the new danger on their way to the door. She was near helpless though Riley could defend herself with magic all jenny had was her charms and she had a sneaky feeling that they would be rather useless here.

"THERE IS no exit you know." the man called out loudly as Jenny dragged Riley away. The creatures toothy grin followed the girls, but he made no effort or actions to even approach or show hostility "You'll just continue to wander these hall until either one of the terrors get you....or you starve. There is nothing to eat or drink here, nor any safety"

In his hand Jenny could see bright white charcoal! "That is unless I give you a way out." the grin remained unmoving and unnerving, far too wide for his face. His eyes hidden under the cloak.

They had yet to find Sir but they needed the chalk. "Oh and what would you want for such a way." Jenny eyed the chalk trying to get Riley to see it as well. Truth be told Riley was the only one capable of defending her in this place.
