The girls went back though the door way to the dimmer hall..
However they stopped as they saw a shadowy figure at the other end of the hall.
The figure stepped forwards as it began regonizible.
A fellow with dark robes, which underneath shined a metallic armor.
Bad vibes filled the air and driplets of water dropped from the wet robes.
Linda was feeling uneasy where Viki was bit dumbfolded.
"Whoa, how the heck did you swim here with that armor on?"
"...Swim? I walked." The disorted voice replied.
Linda pulled Viki bit back and whispered.
"Something ain't right with this guy, I sense a lot of magic going on, and very very bad vibes in the air.. Yet armor? That ain't normal for a caster.."
"I don't like him either."
"Enough tomfoolery! You have something that I want. Something round an..-"
"Pervert."
"Something other round. Cyan glowy. From a corpse of a large foe"
This fellow was obviously talking about the orb.
"No bargain here. You give it to me either the easy way or the hard way" The voice got more threatening.
A) Make a run for it. (run to either deeper to lair or attempt to go past)
B) Fight.
C) Just give the orb.
D) Other?

D - No bargaining? Thats just not fun! Even if Linda or Vikki gives it, this bad dude might kill them, so force him to make a swear upon his very soul, bringing up an enforcing magical contract which, if they give the orb to him, he can never directly, indirectly or through any means at all, bring true harm to either Vikki or Linda. (And try to get it to be on a permanent basis.) While leaving out that Vikki or Linda do not need to worry about attacking him. (Get him to swear before giving the orb just so that they can do kill him and loot him hahahah! (Rolls maybe? If not then run!

Don't worry about getting killed, I won't really plan on actually killing off the player characters. At worse you might get captured or knocked out cold really, maybe just badly hurt or something.

Give him the orb but say we either want gold or some kind of magical power/boost in return (i know he said no bargaining; but weve been too through too much to get it and if its really valuable then we ought to try to get something out of it.) if he saids no then just let him have it, i dont think we ought to fight him.

D. Hold out the orb as we are going to give it to him but try to as discreetly as possible make a signal or knowing look to Viki to try to get behind as he goes to take it and try to get a sneak attack for massive damage. And use the black knife. See what it can do. >:3
