The temptation to investigate the forest area here bit further was growing on.. And the girls decided to do so and wen't deeper to the forest.
But after a short while of walking, Linda stopped and yelled to Viki; "Alright. stop!"
Linda crossed her arms and started to stare at Viki angrily. "...What?"
Linda stepped closer to Viki "You know what. Don't play stupid."
"You push me to whore myself out, I have to bare with the naga that was almost going to egg me or something then you talk about SHARING? And on top of that dare you mock me while I'm down! Why if you'd have something to share, you should've shared yourself to naga you you...!"
"Hey don't drag me down now! I think I can deserve a share of this gold coin! Who do you think has done all the hard physical work and used their life sharing on thise supplies? Definatly not you! Would you prefer to do all that miss no humour?"
"Oooh sure! Infact I would love to! Same way I would've just loved to leave you in the nest. Hey, I maybe I should've just laughed at your FACE while you were stuck in the wall. 'Heeeeey Viki how are you enjoying those tentacles? ' oooh ooh mmmmhhh' ssouuuunds faaantastic! Later!' Hell, I wouldn't even NEED all thise suplies if you'd not be here"

Viki just went silent and put her head down. She started to feel bad.
Not saying a word she just handed the gold coin over to Linda.
They both stood there for a while Linda calmed herself down.
After a while Viki turned her back to Linda and started to walk forward, silently saying; ".. lets just continue then.."
Linda just nodded and the two quietly continue to the forest.
As they walked along, they seemed to come to the other end of the forest, there was slightly beached river that came from north, most likely from lake noffinhood and contiued curvingly to the south and bit east.
Viki and Linda checked the surroundings a bit, there was a big smooth rock, and it was pretty warm. Viki decided to rest on top of it a bit while Linda just leaned to it and read the scroll on the break.
Suddenly Viki jumped down and landed on top of Linda.
"..hey..!" "SSSSSH!"*
Viki signed Linda to carefully watch from the side to the rock to the south as they were on the north side of it.
On the distance there was slowly slithering a tentacle creature on the beach.. But not just any tentacle creature. This thing was atleast the size of two bulls and it was pitch black. Infact light didn't even shine from it. Multible thick tentacles wiggled in the air as it was slowly going through the beach continuing towards north. It wouldn't take long for it to reach the rock which behind the girls were.
If even half of the things they say about black tentacles are true, this would be a very powerful foe..
They'd have to decide quickly what to do here.
A) Quickly run back deep to the forest and continue exploring it.
B) Quickly run back to the forest but follow the river to the north while hiding in the forest.
C) Quickly run back to the forest and try find your way back to the road to Noffinhood
D) Attack the tentacle creature while you still have distance. (specify some actions if you wish to)
E) Wait and try hide behind the rock, maybe it won't notice you..
F) Wait and attack the tentacle creature when its near your positions. (specify some actions if you wish to)

That was unnecessarily mean treatment of our new friend. Not to say Linda shouldn't stick up for herself a bit, but there are less abrasive ways to go about it.
"That thing.. it's huge!" "I know.. I don't think we could stand any chance against it." "Agreed. So what do we do?" "I say we run."
"On my mark.. 1.. 2.. LETS GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE!"
The girls ran back towards the forest at all they got.
The black tentacle creature had noticed them as they were running, but it was way too far from the girls to get chase on them. Instead it seemed to fire something towards the girls.
Neither of them actually even cared to look behind and just kept going deeper to the forest. Whatever the tentacle creature shot, hit the trees near by.. It never was able to hit em due of all the forestation.
After a long while of running, there was no sounds what so ever coming behind the girls, and exhausted from the escape they took a break.
"pphheewww.... I think we lost it.." Viki replied leaning to a tree with her left hand.
Linda sat down and leaned to another tree by to take a breath. "..Yeah I think so too.."
"..So where are we?"
The position of the forest the girls were in showed absolutely nothing special what so ever. It was dense with plenty of trees.. bushes.. etc. Not an opening or anything.
Viki looked around a bit.
"Hmm.. I think we've ran towards north west from the river. We can't be too far from the road, but we sure are far from the opening where the naga's were. "
"How do you estimate the positions in forest that easily anyway, Viki?"
"There's many ways to that actually, as I've been a hunter for as long as I can remember I've learned many tricks. Here, I'll show you a simple one."
Linda walked to Viki and Viki pointed out a small moss like growth at the root of a tree. The moss had blue and red flowers coming out of it.
"This is the moss called Lofter's flower. It only grows on southern side of trees and its pretty common in forests and swamps. So if you ever lose your directional sense in a forest, just look out for thise"
Linda kept this in mind for the future references. "I see.."
"So.. Do you think we should just go back to the road and to Noffinhood? The roads pretty close by.."
"No, you said something about a missing naga I recall?"
"Yeah?"
"Well, I think it might worthwhile to look for her, considering if one gold was their idea of junk.. I wonder what they'd give for returning their lost sister?"
"Hmm.. Good point!"
The girls agreed it'd be smart to look for the naga if not only for the potential loot, and began to look around the forest area, avoiding going too much east though due of the river and its lurking beast.
They spend a lot of time going through the forest on areas they had not been on, but did not find anything intresting at all. The sun was already past mid day it could start to be evening pretty soon.
During all this searching time, the girls had also used 1 food ration.
As the girls were in a very small opening, Linda was starting to lose her patience.
"Urgh. Ly'vicutal! Where the heck can one stupid naga be at..!"
Taking out her frustation she stomped the ground.. Her stomp caused a small piece of ground and growth to slightly pop from the ground!
"..Huh? Hey Viki, come here!" She waved at Viki.
Viki came to Linda and the girls checked the ground that had popped slightly from the ground. They found out, it was actually hiding a hole, the ground and its grass and growth. It was just one big cover!
The hole they uncovered was suprisingly big, plenty of room to go down it, but what was down there was only slightly dim lightning to be seen, it was sure it was going pretty far down and they'd need a rope to go down or atleast get back up the same way. There was a bit of a stench coming from the hole and bit of dripping sound of something liquid dropping inside it.
A) Use rope to get down.
B) Use slowfall to go down.
C) Have Linda or Viki go down first with slowfall and have the other one set up the rope and come down afterwards (specify which)
D) Lets ignore this and go back to road and to Noffinhood
E) Continue just exploring the forest..
