Irid looked at Toki "A C-Creeper...? I-Its kinda hard to explain.." she said, to jolt their paranoia a bit they saw something go round a corner out of the corner of their eyes, Irid whimpered slightly and stayed close to Toki as the progressed further on, the sounds of their footsteps and Irids whimpering being the only sounds heard in the room.

she noted the glimpse of something going about a corner nearby...and readied her weapon, continuing carefully...

"Now look here...if you're going to whimper and run, then give me that scythe...because you're going to have to fight sooner or later" she replied to the whimpering her companion was doing. she was ready for whatever would come.

Irid looked around then gave out a little huff and handed the scythe to Toki to use, then a door nearby swung open suddenely and Irid gave out a startled cry, running off and hiding behind something.

she giggled softly with glee as she exchanged weapons and wielded the scythe instead. she then threw her spear gently for her companion to catch. She then turned to the door to see who was there...

Strangely enough there was nothing there, however what did show up was a strange tiny red core, which darted behind Toki, however she felt a hand on her shoulder and could auto-assume this was going to be a fight.

[Corporeal Orb, 3/3 HP, 4/4 AP, Ethereal, sucessful hits on the orb must be re-rolled]

This battle was a strange one as most of Tokis attacks phased completely through the orb itself, she felt punches and kicks against her legs though which weakened her.

She noted that there was something strange going on as she felt the strange orb 'touch' her shoulder, sending the scythe to do its job...she sliced and kicked at the thing, but seemed to deal very little damage...meanwhile with each attack she felt weaker...

"Oh crap...Let's....let's book it!"she noted, not trying to lose another fight...and she seemed to be doing very little damage. she would then attempt to fend off the orb as she made a grab for Irid's hand to bring her along. after that, she would be out the door the orb had come through in an attempt to escape

Tokis quick thinking helped immensely as she pulled Irid through the doorway, in a spark of brainpower Irid shut the door behind her as well to try and slow the orb, as they continued running, they found themselves in a dusty old room with discarded furniture and equipment lying about.

good thing she had such experience with running...she had managed to grab up her companion and make it well away from the horrid thing whilst carrying Irid on her back. Stopping once they were far enough away, she gladly sighed in relief, and looked about the room carefully, smelling valuables nearby...

"Quick! Irid! I smell treasure...!" she replied, purring softly as she sifted through the stuff in the room

Irid looked around and started rooting through items and other equipment too, albeit hesitantly, although they had no luck treasure wise, they did find a hidden button behind some rubble...

she pouted upon not finding anything of value, but she did notice the button...and she loved buttons...and so she pushed it with an almost catlike smile on her face.

When she pressed the button most of the rubble started to shift and move about, eventually when all of it was pushed out the way it opened a hidden doorway, showing a corridor, Irid was slightly surprised at this prospect.

"oooh..." noted Toki, continuing down this new hidden corridor with great enthusiasm...she still hadn't run into anyone who worked here yet...

"So....who works here, anywho?"

"I-I Dunno myself..." Irid said, they eventually came into a large open room, there was a red carpet running along the ground towards another larger door and two tables against the walls, there was another door on their right leading into a new room marked with the sign [Machines 21-30] and another door on their left marked [Research Labs], Irid chimed in again"I-I was taken to the l-labs for a bit...i could sh-show you what i am in there..." she said, slightly panicky.

she noted the sign, slightly tired of machines for now...and then noted the research labs. perhaps there was money to be made there? Most likely...so she heard her companion's request to go to the labs, and nodded, allowing her to lead the way.

They went into the labs, as they entered it was immediately apparent no one was around, even here, however what there was, were several different enclosures containing different kinds of monsters and animals, some examples being the living rope Toki encountered before, a Corporeal Orb, a slime and even a black mimic slime, Irid lead Toki to her area, which was marked with just [Humanoid Creeper] there was a small screen beside the sign with which Toki could read about Irid, Irid looked slightly nostalgic.

seeing the enclosures made her feel a little bad for these things...what was going on here anyways? She then noted the creeper enclosure, having a look at it and then at Irid.

"Is this where you were held?" she asked

Irid nodded, then Toki read the information.

[As of this point the creeper is a odd variation, as it seems to be a humanoid version of its self, tests at this point have proved that it possesses the same qualities as a normal one, the most unique thing about it is that upon explosion, this Creeper reforms itself from a molecule level almost immediately, to the normal person it looks like it survived the explosion, tests have infact shown that this creeper also becomes super charged like its regular bretheren when coming into contact with a large amount of voltage, although for this creeper it seems to make her personality more outward and less shy than normal, her eyes turn a shade of red and she possesses a electric aura and forms of electrokinesis]

Irid was busy looking into a enclosure for a mimic slime, watching as it formed into a version of her, but with red eyes and the clothing being a black and grey digital pattern, she put her hand on the glass as did the mimic, making the two giggle quietely.

reading up on Irid, she raised an eyebrow at her interesting properties...this girl was actually rather potent when she wanted to be...if only she had a pair.

"Well, then...hey! what are you doing?" she asked, noting the girl's entertainment choice.

Irid looked back at Toki "I-Im kinda bored...", the mimic formed back into its regular black slime self and Irid stood up, "Should we g-get going again?" she asked.

looking at the ropes and slimes in the room, her reply was quite predictable...

"Hell yes, we should..." she replied, hastily leading the girl onward
