Rikke gave the woman a sharp and all-too-confident look "Is that how you speak with all potential investors." she'd snicker and slightly unsheath Beauty just to show its exceptional glint "I'm an antique collector, I've not only an eye for such things, but also the means to support my hobby."

She'd look to the woman as if already having won the exchange "Now, try again and tell me about this piece." whatever the womans reaction was she'd share the details with the rogue, though seemed none too keen to seperate with it "Interesting indeed. Show it to me." Rikke extended her hand still keeping a dominant lock on the woman.

Seeing the fantastic blade the woman would adjust her attitude a little but kept the story the same. "Indeed it is a very nice piece as I said before I found it in a ruin. Its the most valuable thing in the store so you can see that I'm very reluctant to hand it over." Setting the necklace in her Rikke's hand she felt a sudden jolt of magic and a rush of memories. This thing was potent and it almost burned her hand from the magic within. Images came flooding into her mind of a Woman with long electric blue hair that stretched down to her ass. She wore the battlemage robes of the academy from her time. She was panting as a orc warrior charged her. Bringing up her hands light erupted from them incinerating the orc from the waist up. Something crashed behind her and the images faded.

Rikke would blink just as the images faded and smirk slyly "Bingo." the girl turned to her other two companions "Over here you two!" she'd turn to the woman and smile "Today may be a very lucky day for you, miss."

"This is what we're looking for." The rogue would leave the bartering to Rune and Rhea, honestly she didn't know just how much the currency was valued here. Making an absurdly low offer might scorn the woman, while an absurdly high offer may leave Runes and Rheas wallets quite scorched as well.

Still if everything went by well enough soon enough the trio, now victorious could make their way out.

As Rune approached her device beeped louder till she turned it off. "There we go. Wow who would have thought it would be so pretty." The two girls looked at it a moment before the lady behind the counter would cough. "2500 Dilar please" Rhea blinked a moment then laughed. "Oh I thought you said 2500 Dilar ha ha ha." The woman at the counter didn't seem to laugh. With that Rikke left leaving the acquisition to Rune and Rhea. Standing outside the shop Rikke saw Saul wave her over with Sam setting up a small tray. This seemed way to easy and if everything goes this well then she would be home in no time. A little walk down the way a man in a deep blue uniform and carrying a gun holstered in the open walked up to Rikke slowly his metal badge on his chest gleaming in the sun. Four letters stood out SFPD. "Miss do you have a permit to carry those... blades...."

Honestly, the rogue was pretty sure the old lady couldn't tell platinum and silver from well polished iron, but she'd leave the details for Rune and Rhea. Heck the woman indirectly aided them in saving the whole world, she deserved a luxurious reward. However, Rikke completely didn't 'deserve' the sudden attention from some sort of inspector...

Well the rogue was in a far too cheery mood for such a small detail to spoil it "Permit?" she'd turn her head curiously, this realm had to be kidding... "No, but these are just part of the costume. They're not real, I'm sure it's not an issue." the rogue smiled warmly to the man, wispy purple trails seemingly swirling in the mans retina before disappearing.

Loosing her powers which seemed to take more energy than it should she found the guard suddenly relax. "Oh part of a costume that make sense." Still he didn't move on and continued to stare at Rikke raptly the purple sheen over his eyes match the slight glow from Rikke's.

"Aye~" Rikke smiled brightly to him "But I'll go put these away, my friend is waiting over there by the jeep." she'd nod politely to him "Have a great day!" with that she'd pass by him and wave her goodbyes. Using her magic certainly seemed to take a hefty price in this realm, while using it only once in a while was fine... abused of it, would quickly leave the rogue completely starved!... and free sexual behavior didn't seem as prevelant as back in her time.

Either way with her charm spell working effortlessly, the rogue would try to return to the jeep and share the good news with Saul... and mention the price of the item off-handedly.

"Oh okay have a good day." With that the police officer went along his way leaving Rikke to meet up with Saul. "What was that about?" Sam nodded at the officer as she handed Rikke a large meat filled sandwich. Answering how she would she informed Saul of the find and the price which made him gag a little on his fries. Coughing a little he took a small device out of his pocket and dialed up a number. "Saul buddy you need a new phone is that the old Villa 20k? Damn thats almost a relic." Saul frowned at Sam. "Yeah it may be old but it was the last phone that I could secure from the intelligence network. The others are too open." Lost as to what they were talking about Rikke just smiled and ate her sandwich. Soon enough Rhea and Rune came out Rune was laughing while Rhea grumbled.

"Something about a permit." Rikke shruged casually "Told him it was just part of my er... costume and it was fine." she'd smile casually and take the sandwich. Honestly, the rogue didn't have a bite of real food in quite some time. While she didn't need much, a bit of nourishment was always welcome.

"m! Sam, right?" The rogue looked to their driver with a smile "Don't think we've been properly introduced. I'm Rikke." she'd keep a politely smile "Amazing 'car' by the way. I'd say only flight matches it's speed!" whether Sam went to elaborate on the 'cars' specifications or not, the duo of kitsunes would soon return... all too clear who bit the bill this time.

"If all the operations go this well, this will just be a short vacation" Rikke smiled widely to the duo upon return "Oh! Here's out second artifact Saul." she'd show Saul the necklace. Honestly all things considered, they were set to leave for the second item!... if they had one already found.

"Yeah amazing isn't it? Too bad shes not mine." At the mention of flight Sam smiled. "Well I may be proud but no way this little baby could keep up to the Virtal." Chatting as the duo kitsunes came up she could clearly hear Rhea remark. 3000 Dillar what a wench." This just caused Rune to laugh even harder. "Maybe you shouldn't have insulted her." Still once everyone was back at the recon vehicle Rikke would show off the necklace to Saul after getting it from Rhea. "Wow this little thing is a relic from a lost age. Its an odd subject to make a necklace of. I wonder if the owner worshipped the demons or at lest the succubi?" Rikke held it for a while longer feeling the power with in it. It pulsed lightly in her hand almost as if it was waiting for something.

"Actually it once belonged to a mage." Rikke would keep the amulet with her for now "It's owner had just won a close battle against some raiding orcs right before the event took place. I'm not sure how she related to the succubi though." the heroine looked to the curious looks she got, before breaking a smile... clearly she needed to elaborate on how she knew this.

"The artifacts seem to er... speak to me. Not with words, but visions. I'm not sure why, but upon contact with me they reveal a short glympse of the past." she'd inspect the necklace in her hands "Not all of them relate to the zero event. I think each one bears a memory closely related to their previous owners fate." she'd look to her company only to meet strange looks from each and every one of them "What?" perhaps the talk of actual visions and mages no less, still seemed odd to some of her group.

Whatever the case may be their job here was done. Now it was back to the air and then straight to the base "Hey, we... didn't leave anyone to look for the next artifact... did we." Rikke shook her head and laughted lightly, seemed the whole group was so anxious at what collecting these artifacts could be that they went a bit overboard when it came to protection.

Indeed she got a few looks but all in all the group seemed to take her at her word. Saul sat up before speaking. "No worries about that Rikke while Serina is recovering she is manning the observation gear. I'm more curious about you seeing visions. So they are pieces of the past? What are they like?"

"They're just a few seconds long. It's like a day dream." She'd look to Saul "Like I said, some of them seem to be episodes from around my time." Rikke would stash the statue away for now "Unfortunately, I'm no expert in magic so I can't really tell you much more."

"All I know is that they seemingly only appear to me. Even the artifact owners don't have this odd attunement." she'd glance through the group and smile "I tried to give Janet her blade back, it didn't seem to have any effect on her."

"You did what? Rikke I may be new to this whole magic mumbo jumbo but I can tell you that Janet is not thousands of years old. That blade could not be her's." Rune, Rhea, and Saul all shared a look that made Sam raise an eyebrow. "Come on guys tell her she is obviously crazy right." Rune seemed to be the one who spoke first. "Rikke thinks we are all reincarnations from people she knew back in her time." Rikke knew Rune was lying after all she had been there for the big reveal. Maybe she was just trying to comfort Sam. What ever she was trying to do it seemed to work though as Sam suddenly nodded. "I see I see heh here I thought she was crazy. Reincarnation ha what a concept." Sam turned around and hopped in the recon vehicle and started her up. Rune sighed in relief and Saul and Rhea got back on the car. Before long they left the small town and where blazing away to the field where the Virtal was waiting.

"Hey now... " though just as Rikke was about to talk, Rune covered for her "Y-yeah... it might be me just being homesick." she'd smile kindly to their driver, before finally they moved out.

Sitting between Rune and Rhea, Rikke kept a suspicious smile while looking at Sam. Noting the kitsunes curiousity she'd lean to share a little secret with them "I think I'd better not tell Samantha, that in my time she used to be a he... with a gender-bending curse." she'd giggle wickedly, though besides that the troup could continue onwards to their flight, just as planned before.

This did bring a giggle from the girls though it was lost to the others as they shared the back seats this time. Speeding along Sam loaded the recon vehicle before boarding with the others. After a moment the Virtal kicked off deploying its camo before they turned to base. For most of the trip everyone was silent either looking out the window or napping in Sam's case. Soon enough they began to land the sun starting to set. Watching from her window Rikke saw the hanger roof open up to allow the Virtal to land. The hanger however was busier than when they left people ran all around pulling hoses and moving cargo. Landing none of the others seemed bothered by the sudden commotion. "Rikke I'm going to intrust the artifacts to you until I find a secure location to store them on base. With your skills it should be easy to keep them safe." Stepping away a soldier came up with a mass of paperwork for Saul to go over. Sighing Saul walked off leaving her with Sam and the others. Of those three it seemed Sam was getting ready to head off while Rhea and Rune discussed something. She was about to ask something when a loud "HI!" echoed from behind her. Turning she saw the cat girl from the bar running towards her arms outstretched in a charging hug. If Rikke didn't avoid it she would be wrapped up and squeezed with surprising strength. "I'm your roomy Kanna! We are going to be such good friends!" Even if she did avoid the hug the girl would still greet her excitedly adding "Oh we are going to have so much fun!"

While Rikke tried her best not to be paranoid... in a unknown world with unknown alliances, she just couldn't help, but be exceptionally cautious when it came to new contacts "Eh?" Rikke laughted playfully at the surprisingly strong lift "Have we... met?" she'd smile to the girl kindly, though ever so subtly the rogue kept her hand near the blade and the pocket that held the statue.

"You probably have the wrong person, silly. A certain Kitsune called dibs to share the room with me" as far as Rikke knew the rooms weren't assigned, but sharing a room with a stranger, much less when holding onto exceptionally rare and important objects... the rogue wasn't gonna take the chance "I'm Rikke, a pleasure to meet you Kanna."

Kanna frowned a little and pulled out a piece of paper and looked it over before smiling. "Nope! See!" The cat girl thrust the paper right in front of Rikke's Face. It read..

Rikke Delariu is hereby transferred to the nest. Files have been sealed and classified by order of Commander Saul. New lodgings shall be the secured hall special forces room 3b.

"See thats my room which makes you my roomy!" The girl clapped excitedly and took Rikke's hand. "Come on you should meet the girls!" Tugging at Rikke the surprisingly strong cat girl was trying to lead her out. Looking to Rhea she saw the kitsune see her plight and chuckle in an amused fashion.. she had been set up...

"Eh?" Rikke looked over the presented paper with a fair bit surprise "But I thought..." the heroine would look to Rhea and Rune clearly unsure about this, though noting Rheas reaction it seemed this was indeed pre-planned. That would explain how the girl knew her name to begin with as well, so if both Saul and Rhea trusted the catgirl...

"Sure let's go!" Rikke smiled brightly and would quickly join in the dash to the rooms. Though as they continued onwards Rikke would indeed still ask "So~ How did you know it was me?" she'd look to the girl with fair curiousity, she still needed just a few extra questions... just to queel her uneasy heart at trusting a stranger.

With Rikke following more or less willingly the girl slowed somewhat and pulled out a small square device and pressed a button. Up popped a photo of Rikke riding in the Recon vehicle, the initial moment of the car accelerating stuck on the rogue's face. It wasn't the most flattering picture she had ever had. In the corner of the screen it listed From: [email protected]

Leading her on the Kanna ran to a very secure looking building with heavily armed guards. Entering reinforced doors Rikke came upon what looked like a lounge. A billards table sat in the middle with two men in the middle of a game. Across from them on the right was a small bar though it was unoccupied for the moment. On the left was a series of couches and a large picture box playing some movie of sorts to a group of people sitting down. In the left most corner was a small tiled area with a refrigerator and oven as well as a sink. Leading her to the stairwell Kana went up two floors of hallways with doors spaced down it like the hotel she stayed at. Stopping on the top floor Kanna led her to a room with 3b listed on it and opened it up. The room itself seemed to be split into two area's with a bed on each end and matching dresser and desk in a perfect symmetrical pattern. "Here we go home sweet home. I even cleaned up before you got back. Looking Rikke could see the truth of it as Kanna's trash can was overfull with discarded papers. Not to mention her walls where covered with all sorts of posters and pictures of people Rikke had yet to see.
