A rifle shot would alert the guards faster than any hunter could. Rikke cursed under her breath and rushed to Janet. Looks like their time to mess around has run out! The girls needed to get a move on and fast!

Keeping her revolver holstered Rikke rushed to where Janet should be, her blade drawn ready to dispath any enemies that may still be in combat with the knight.

Rikke's feat crunched loudly threw the snow the sun having melted the upper layer for it to only freeze once more crating a small crust of ice. Nearing the wall she made to leap over it when a bloody armored hand hit the top of the wall quickly followed by an armored shoulder and blood spattered Janet. "Rikke your safe hey give me a hand please all this blood is making it hard to climb!" Grabbing hold of Janet Rikke managed to pull her friend over and found the poor warrior a little disheveled and spattered with blood but other wise unharmed. "Okay I sent Willow ahead to Venise so thats all taken care of." Janet panted in the snow a moment. "Whats next?"

"Janet!" Rikke smiled brightly and pulled the knight over, before giving her a cautious if a tad akward hug trying to avoiding the blood splatters "We've got to go. One of the bastards ran off to warn the others." the rogue turned to the main building "Have your climbing gear intact? We'll be going up from the other side, best not make a show eh?"

Search for a way to scale the opposite side of the wall [aka the wall that's not seen from the main courtyard.

Avoiding the splatters was a lost cause so Rikke settled for a sideways hug that left her own armor and cloths mostly free of the ichor. Getting up at the sudden urgency that Rikke possed Janet quickly got her climbing gear out. "I bet if we scale the far wall we can use it to get a better climbing point and be outside of the main viewing locations." This of course would be up to Rikke but the plan sounded good.

Rikke gave Janet a firm nod "Sounds like a plan, let's go!" the hunter may have already warned whoever he chose, making time particulary limited for the heroines. For the time being Rikke would follow Janets lead.

Janet ran to the opposite wall before climbing up and offering a hand to Rikke. From there the girls headed down to wall till it joined with the main complex. "Okay lets see if can reach the top floor humm." With that Janet gave her rope a good spin the metal hook whistling in the air as it built up speed. After a moment Janet threw her hook up where it hit dead on. Giving a few tugs to check if it was secure Janet began to climb. Soon enough She was nearing the first window as Rikke set her own hook and started to climb.

Rikke tested her robe and equiped some claws for a sturdier hold "Alright, if we get attacked, we don't risk getting knocked down and head in through the nearest window." she looked to Janet firmly "And whatever happens don't split up. Who knows how the demons distorted this place." with her final orders done Rikke took a deep breath and got to climbing! Her goal - the top floor.

Janet Climbs 61 vs 20 success!

The first part of the climb was easy and soon enough thanks to her much lighter load Rikke was next to Janet in no time. As they passed the first window however a gust of wind blew harsh against them pushing them slightly. "Oh this should be interesting. I bet that wind is only going to get stronger they higher we go." It seemed a silly statement but than again they where climbing a very tall building on an exposed hill top. Unlike some of her adventures in town where the wind was hindered by other buildings they where left at its mercy here.

At such a level the initial climb was a breeze, though now that Janet mentioned it much to their disfortune the wind was blowing right at their side nothing to stim it's force. Rikke looked up the building "Remember if it gets too rough! Go to the nearest window! I'll follow you in!"

Falling down due to a poor grip would indeed be a sad way to end their grand adventure. Though for the time being, the brick wall crumbled at parts provided a all too easy climb.

The wind did not relent as they climbed only seeming to grow stronger with each foot they gained. As they reached the second window another gust of wind hit them much stronger than before pushing both slightly. "Ha is that all you got!" Janet seemed in a good mood and making good progress. Passing the window Rikke could peak in if she wanted or continue to climb.

Rikke snickered at the knights calls and continued the slimb, her long orange hair now ruffled up by the hair, blow aside to trail along the wall "Don't encourage it!" she grinned widely as they continued up, soon enough passing the second window. Well Rikke was near it, might aswell stop for just a moment and peek inside, before continueing up.

Who knows maybe the demons were struck with a moment of stupid and placed Jessica right next to one of the windows.

Janet climbs 56 vs 40

Pausing a moment to look threw the window Rikke failed to see Janet make it to the third window and look out over the sky and frown. What Rikke did see however was a nasty feted bog. Looking closer and from a different angle revealed that the wall she was climbing on didn't exist in this other place. "Rikke we are in trouble look!" Looking up at Janet and then to where the knight was pointing RIkke saw a fast moving storm rushing towards them.

"Damnit! You think we'll make it to the fourth floor?" Less time peeping more time climbing! Rikke quickly began to scale the building in a much more rushed fashion. It was Janets call, though they had reached the third floor it was a decent success even if the cilmb could be cut short!

Janet looked to the storm and to Rikke and shook her head and dived threw the window. Rikke quickly followed after. The cool air they had been in suddenly shifted to a hot stifling air as Rikke fell for a moment only to land on hot sand. Rolling down the dune Rikke soon plowed into Janet who helped pick her up. "What in the hells?" Looking about Rikke could see why Janet was confused. All around them stretched a desert with gentle dunes as far as the eye could see. Looking up to where they had entered Rikke found a ragged sun bleached wall with a window that showed a ragging blizzard.

The wind was picking up at rapid pace blowing directly into the two heroines and by the sights of it, things would go even worse. Rikke quickly climbed up the rope, the wind making looking up impossible and keep her hair absolutely wild. Just as she neared she heard the window brake with Janet giving her a quick glance telegraphing her thoughts to the rogue. They go in now or they fail the climb completely! Rikke nodded to her friend, sealing their plan. The girls would have reached the third floor.

"Ooph" the landing was absolutely not as expected. Rikke quickly got to taming her wild hair and looked around sharing similar disbelief as Janet. "A... desert?" Her hands resting on the warm sands left no questions about it. Rikke stood up and brushed the sand away from her clothing, looking around it was just seemed what would be miles upon miles of just dunes and sand "I hate magic..." the rogue sighed lightly and smiled to Janet "Well it has to have a end nearby, let's head towards the middle."

"What middle?" Janet spun around at the seemingly all encompassing dessert. "Maybe we should just wait out the storm and get back out the window?" No sooner had Janet spoke than the wall and window began to crumble into nothing. "N..No way NOT FAIR!" Giving a angry growl Janet kicked the sand sending up a spurt of dirt that caught in the wind and blew somewhat north.

Rikke on the other hand remained completely calm and looked around "Well this place has to adhere to some laws" she turned to Janet "The window should be facing towards the middle, so if we dropped down here..." Rikke looked and create a way for them to go "Then we should head that... way, no?"

The rogue smiled and would likely lead Janet onwards with her plan, keeping an eye out for a massive dune to get a better look around. The meaining of the wind completely lost on the rogue.

Janet heaved a sigh and started to trek threw the sands with Rikke. "Well at lest its not stifling hot as I heard a desert can be." Janet smiled trying to pick up her mood as the walked. After about ten minutes Rikke found a tall dune to her liking and stopped to look over the desert. Gazing about it seemed to go on forever. Mile after mile of sparkly yellow sand stretched out and about from her in every direction. Sighing slightly it seemed the desert had no end. Small sprays of sand kicked up but the northerly wind hit her the wind slightly chilled as the sand got stuck in her hair.

Rikke sighed deeply at the sight "I hate magi--" the gentle breeze and some of the lifted sand interupting her. The rogue brushed a few stray hairs aside and paused "Wait... wait..." if need be she'd slide down to Janet "The wind. It has to be coming from somewhere right? Let's try finding it's source!"

Turning into the wind Rikke felt its cool breeze against her skin. It was cold, way to cold to be from a dessert. Still the wind was coming from the south. Heading in that direction she had little clue to how far or for what they where looking for. "Kinda hard to believe that this desert is in a building." Janets voice broke the bleak silence trying to draw Rikke into a conversation.
