"Im doing well all things considering." Rhea moved a hand to her stomach and held it their a moment. "Saul doesn't want me to fight in the battle hes worried. Not to mention Selina is on my case about it as well." Rhea huffed as she went to another map to look at it. "Such whiny mates you think I would have picked better." Rikke didn't buy the tough act after all she had gotten to know Rhea far to well by now. "How are you and Jess holding up?"

Rikke smiled warmly "We're better than ever..." the girl stood up and approached Rhea "Whiny mates?" the heroine giggled warmly "Yeah they can be like that... after this battle things won't be the same. The demons will have been withdrawn and Endus will finally be at peace. One could argue depending how things go tonight, it could be a great leaders swansong before their well earned rest with their family."

Rhea glanced over at Rikke blowing a strand of silver hair out of her eyes. "As if Im young viral and full of vigor." Rhea flexed her arm muscles for Rikke as if showing off but a slight gurgle from her belly ruined the moment. Looking down the kitsune placed her hand over the location. "Well maybe a break for maternity leave but thats it Im not calling quits!" Rhea's tail swished agitated at the thought of retirement.

Rikke knew it. Another little Kitsune was on it's way to grace Endus "May I?" the rogue approached and looked to Rheas belly placing a hand on it gently. The itsy bitsy Kitsune was still far from birth, but just feeling the warmth of life in Rhea would be fine for Rikke.

"She's Sauls?" Rikke looked up to Rhea "We'll make sure Endus will be ready when she'll arrive." Well looked like that was it for the time being "I'll see you right before the assault Rhea. I'll be in the training halls." the girl had Beauty's enchants to try out afterall!

Rhea nodded her approval as Rikke placed her hand on her belly. "Yes but Im not sure if they are a he or she right now" Rhea smiled a moment before speaking. "You should see selina I swear shes carrying twins the way her stomach has bloated." Rhea traced a finger along her navel smiling happily. "Aye Ill see you at the meeting point." With that Rikke was off though there really wasn't a training hall anywhere just a few dummies with beat up armor that couldn't be fixed.

Rikke sighed at sight... how will she test her blade now? Seemed that would have to wait. Still she was already in the mood might aswell do some sparring. The heroine turned to her companion "Jess grab a few wooden swords for us. It's time to check up how much you've improved" a warmup and refresher before battle couln't hurt. Not to mention perhaps the girl could improve Jessicas overall fighting prowess.

Jess went over and grabbed a couple of wooden blades tossing one to Rikke while taking two herself. "Are you sure you want to do this Rikke what if we hurt each other before the fight?" Still Jess got into a defensive combat stance and waited for Rikke to answer or attack.

"Well don't swing with all your guts silly" The rogue giggled warmly "Simple point based system, you only have to tap opponents exposed parts. Don't go swinging madly" Rikke smiled warmly.

"Alright, let me show you..." the girl grinned cockishly and charged forward.

Jess counters with Scissoring Defense 3 hits 3 retaliations

Rikke dashed in her wooden practice blade darting in and scoring three successful hits on Jess who retaliated with almost the same speed. Their wooden blades wizzed threw the air causing a a blur of wood between the two. A cheer rang out around them after their pause as a few of the men had seen the display of swordsmanship cheering greatly.

Rikke grinned happily, looks like Jessica improved quite a bit since last time "Bravo, Jess!" the girl laughed merrily and flipped her blade in hand, pointing it to her companion "Let's see how well your offense holds up" the heroine winked playfully and awaited a attack, her classic counter-position in place.

Rikke took up her normal defensive pose as Jess got into an offensive one. Taking a moment to look at Rikke Jess made her move. Wow Jess moved like lighting and Rikke felt one soft pat on her armor as she parried and struck Jess with a dull klang. Wait that quick when was Jess ever that quick? Looking a little dumb founded only a moment Rikke collected herself. Jess must have had some serious combat training during her time at Reginald mercy.

Every blow the heroine deflected her companion seemingly followed up with a another one, not even allowing a chance to counter attack. That was two points easy for Jessica!

Rikke blinked in disbelief, wow she sure improved quite a bit or perhaps the rogue wasn't giving it her all "Alright, let's see how's your combat sense." Rikke flipped the blade back into offense and smirked at Jessica, seemingly getting into position for a lunge.

Jess was completly caught off guard as Rikke feinted and thrust rapidly at her again clanging off her armor in rapid succession. Yep she still got it though she might want to work on the dodging some more it seemed she was getting rusty.

Jessica never saw it coming, the heroines strongest attack. Two strikes gently tapped Jessica on her most exposed skin and one final was a little harsher slap on the succubus ass.

Rikke walked away giggling warmly from her companion "You would not believe WHO inspired this sort of offensive technique Jess." the heroine turned to Jessica, they could spar some more, but Rikke already tested out her companion in the main areas: Offense, Defense and Perception. Aswell as tested herself...

Jess rubbed her tush from the slap and pouted. "Do tell Rikke I want to know so I can kick their ass later." Jess walked next to Rikke head on her shoulder. "So the big day huh. Think Rhea's plan will work?"

Rikke snickered playfully before answerig "Back in the mansion... from Seve." the girl nodded few times a smile on her face "How did you think the bastard beat me?"

"I'm concerned with the current plan. The wargs in the vanguard will have to survive and fend off the demon hordes, before the pincer shuts and traps them..." the girl lowered her gaze "I don't want any of the boys hurt anymore."

"If we kill Regi and Queen Succubitch fast enough, the horde should back down or flee... I just wish there was a way to help them fend off the demons till we finish our task."

Jess remained silent as they walked not saying a word for a long while. "So have you made up your mind Rikke?" Jess looked over at her a quizzical expression on her face that quickly faded to a sigh. "You forgot didn't you. Are we going to stay in Endus for the winter or are we going to see if we can find a warm beach to rest at?"

"First we win this battle. THEN we plan our vacation" Rikke smiled warmly at her companion "...but to answer. A choice between a city living post it's inner war or a warm beach. I'd vote for the beach" the girl grinned happily "Though if Rhea and the girls need us to stay, we don't have the right to say no." the rogue winked slyly.

Their shopping was done, training done and gear enchanted. What else did the heroine forget to do? Perhaps the answer would come after the two had their peaceful walk through the safer areas, just chatting.

They girls chatted and reminisced about past travels until the appointed hour came and with it a messenger telling them it was time. Heading they saw Rhea in battle gear talking to Samual and Janet one more time before they headed out. "Rikke Jess come in come in we are almost ready. Take my hand and well go to the observation post to wait for the signal." Taking hold of the kitsune's hand Rikke felt the world wobble again as the air distorted and the scenery changed. After a moment everything came back to focus as Rhea pointed out over at the mansion. "There is our target when Matt draws out the troops guarding it we will make our move so until then just sit tight."

'Sit tight' as if Rikke could be so calm! It was all so sudden, usually one could brace themselves for battle during the march there... but the rogue was flatout thrown in and cope however she could!

Still might aswell check on everyone "So... whats each of your specialty team?" she smiled lightly, knowing each members strentgh may be vital for whats to come.
