Rachel got up from the ground quickly and backed up into Sarah, the fear in their faces was clear, and their previous confidence had disappeared.
The women didnt need to be asked twice as they ran as fast as they could away form Ella, who's skin still gave off a small glimmer of light.
"Thank you for your mercy" Zoey said as she wiped tears from her eyes.
"Now bring me to your Overlord's Lair" Ella commanded as she placed her hammer over her shoulder.
"Follow me"
Ella followed Zoey down the aisle towards the exit of the church, picking up a white robe which she saw folded over a pew, and deftly covering her body with it, tightening a loose string around her waist as she exited the church.

Upon leaving the church, Ella saw the sun coming up over the mountains to the East, the glow which had emblazoned her golden hammer and glimmered upon her skin waned slightly as Ella exited the church.....the structure must have something to do with the power she had gained.
Ella checked again to see if her hammer was still intact and it appeared to be fully intact in it's golden plated ends and handle, the enchantment had left it slightly, but it still glistened dimly.
Zoey continued to wipe tears from her eyes as the pair moved together, Ella had at first had been trying to ignore her emotions, but soon had become interested enough to ask.
"Why are you crying?" Ella said as they reached the edge of town, prepared to re-enter the dark forest again.
"Those Green tentacles you killed......they were my Children" Zoey said as her voice was blended with her sorrow.
"How can you call such a creature your child....an abomination like that" Ella responded coldly.
"You wouldn't understand!" Zoey snapped back turning around and stopping in her tracks
"You are a very confused girl" Ella said, as she switched her hammer from one shoulder to the other, shaking her head in disgust.
"You've never had a child, had it birthed from your body, looking to you for survival...."
"The children i want are human"
"And yet you are impregnated with a Tentacle Egg, you'll know soon enough what im talking about"
"Ill kill it as soon as i can.....one less tentacle to terrorize the world"
the two women continued to walk through the forest, being silent for several minutes before the conversation started again.
"You're right Zoey, i wouldn't understand.....i have no reason to doubt your feeling" Ella said as she stopped for a moment
Zoey turned around again and took a deep breath and signed "Ella, i hope for your sake that you become captured and are shown some perspective"
"Dont you want to be free Zoey? dont you want to be able to live your life however you'd like?" Ella said, looking Zoey in the eyes.
"The world is in ruins, most of the men have been killed.....even if we were free, we would likely become extinct as a species if we killed all of the tentacles."
"There are men still left in this world....ive seen them"
"How many have you seen in you entire life as a free woman?" Zoey asked

Zoey laughed and shook her head "Don't you see? tentacles are our counterparts now, we form a symbiotic relationship.....without each over, we die together"
"Lets just keep goi..." Ella said
"The Overlord is my Child" Zoey said, interrupting you.
Ella looked at Zoey in her eyes.....she wasent lying.
"You gave birth to an Overlord?"
Zoey nodded her head in acknowledgement, proudly.
"Why are you bringing me to it then?" Ella asked
"Im not...........not yet" zoey said, dropping her head and looking to the ground.
"What the hell is this about? are you trying to lure me into another ambush? it wont work!"
"No ambush Ella, we're going to give birth to your child."
"I should just leave you here and go find your overlord by myself" Ella yelled, furiously
"You'd never find it without me....and i promise to bring you to it....once we are done"
"You are lying, this is just a trick to buy more time"
Zoey walked up to you, and grabbed you by the shoulders "Ella, you are too powerful for us to stop, don't you see? We've been hunting you for years...but something else has been protecting you...something out of our control"
"I've been raped several times...ive been captured before" Ella said in response.
"Yet you always find a way to escape....your path is always cleared....nothing we've been able to do to you has worked"
"What are you saying?" Ella said with confusion in her face
"None of the other women believe it, but i've heard the overlord's discussing you....they think you are some kind of Champion for powers beyond their control"
"Nonsense"
"Nonsense? you were surrounded in the middle of a desecrated church, with one of the most powerful women in the world prepared to capture you and a shining light bursts through the church and gives you the power to fight her and her minions off."
Ella walks around, thinking about it.......she always found her way out of every tough situation she had been in, thinking back to years when she first left her mother, no matter how hopeless things got, she would always find a way to escape or fight through it....perhaps it wasn't simply luck...
"Suppose i am what you say........if that is the case...what do you hope to accomplish by further delaying my inevitable victory?"
"Ill convince you to abandon your quest.....to accept tentacles and join us."
Ella burst out laughing "And how do you plan on doing that?"
"I'll show you how wrong you are about us."
Zoey took Ella hand.
"Why should i go along with this?"
"If i cant convince you.......ill help you find all of the overlords, i know where all of their main lairs are...it would take you years to find them all"
that would be useful Ella thought to herself.
"How long will this take?"
"Not long, we must go to the ritual site"
Ella followed Zoey reluctantly, her mind still mostly focused on finding the overlord.

The two women traveled for a few miles, walking through the dark forest until they reached the base of a waterfall where the water fell gently down into the lake below, in the middle of the large lake was a small island with marble ruins located on it.
The women waded through the water until they reached the island and entered the ruins.
a small stream ran into the ruins where an alter was in the middle of them, the sunlight shined down through the broken ruins and brightened the entire area, but especially the alter in the center.
"What is this place?" Ella asked as she looked around in fascination
"This is an ancient ruin which was built by tentacles hundreds of years ago, its purpose is to communicate between tentacles and humans, as well as expedite the birthing process"
"How?"
"The water which runs through this place is mixed with a very pure tentacle slime, drinking it will allow you to communicate with tentacles for a short period of time"
"There Arent any tentacles here"
"Not yet there isn't"
"What is the purpose of this?"
"You will give birth to the tentacle creature within you and communicate with it, if you still want to kill your own child, then nothing can change your mind and you are beyond reason"
"Lets get this over with" Ella says with confidence that this wont be a problem for her.
"Lay down on the Alter, and take off that robe" Zoey said to her
Ella took off the white robe and placed it aside, then laid down on the alter and looked up through the ruins at the clouds up in the sky above them.
Zoey scoops up some water into her hands and drinks some herself, then scoops up another handful and brings it over to Ella.
"Here" Zoey said as she brings her hands over to Ella, who drinks the water quickly.
Ella's mind slowly shifts as her thoughts become clearer and her mind starts to focus.
"Can you hear me?" Zoey says to Ella through her thoughts
"Yes" Ella says outloud
"Speak to me inside of your mind" zoey says again to Ella, once again in her mind
"I can hear you" Ella thinks to herself
"Good, it is working" Zoey said as she got up on the alter and spread her legs, placing her butt down on Ella's chest below her breasts, sitting on top of her
"What are you doing?" Ella through to Zoey
"Im starting the ritual" zoey responded, leaning forward and placing her hands on Ella's temples.
Ella started to feel the warmth on her temples as it spread to her mind and she started to experience visions from Zoey.
"Keep your eyes closed and let me in" Zoey said and she leaned in again, lifting her butt from Ella as her thighs rubbed against the sides of Ella's breasts instead
Ella closed her eyes and started to open her mind.

Ella became emotionally connected with Zoey, and immediately felt her warm and motherly presence inside of her mind, the feeling reminded Ella of her own mother.
"Dont be scared" Zoey said to Ella through her mind.
"What is this place?" Ella said as she imagined herself walking into a bright white area which was warm and welcoming.
"This is a combination of our two subconsciousness's" Zoey said as she walked forward from nowhere.
Around the two of them, the grass and trees sprouted up and a house was built from nothing.
"What is this place Ella?" Zoey asked
"This is my mothers house in the middle of the forest"
"Lets go inside" Zoey said as she walked toward the door and opened it.
"After you" Zoey said as she motioned Ella to enter.
Ella walked inside and saw her mother holding a baby in her arms.
"Mom!"
Ella's mom ignored her as she continued to cradle the baby in her arms, which was nestled innocently against her breast.
"Who is that child?" Zoey asked
"That is me" Ella answered
"You were a cute baby, your mother loved you very much"
Ella wiped a tear from her cheek "i miss her so much"
"You can be together again, she isnt dead, she is safe"
"She is being held captive by you people, taken against her will" Ella said as she tightened her fist
"She is happy, Ella, she has accepted her new role as an important member of our society.....she misses you very much"
"You're lying" Ella said to her
"Let me show you"
The surroundings changed, the falls fell apart in the house and changed slowly into the living meatwall of a tentacle lair, baby Ella disappeared and Ella's mother was lifted up by the tentacles of the lair.
"Tell me about your daughter" Zoey said as she stepped forward from the shadows" a twin of the one who was standing beside Ella.
"Ella, she is a strong and brave girl.....she ran away in order to protect me"
"Do you know where she is now?" Past Zoey said to Ella's mother
"I have no idea, but i wish she was here with me again" Ella mother said as she lowered her head with a sad look on her face.
"Ill rescue you mom, i promise" Ella said as she wiped away a couple of years from her cheek.
"She has food, warm and protection in a world which has been destroyed, if you 'saved' her, you would only be reintroducing the hell that is the world onto her again....look at her Ella...she is happy....she only wants your to rejoin her"
The area started to shift again, Ella's mother disappeared and Zoey from the past was laying down on the Meatwall floor with something in her arms....a tentacle spawnling.
Ella saw as Past Zoey held the small creature to her chest, she had a smile on her face as the little creature suckled on her breast innocently, reminding Ella of what she saw herself doing as a baby just moments ago.
"Look Familiar?" Zoey said
"Cant you see the difference? they arent us....they arent human" Ella said
"These creatures love you like your own children....they are your children..." Zoey said as she wiped another tear from her eye.
"They are monsters Zoey, they prey on us" Ella said in response, shaking her head
"We'll see..."
the walls around the girls shifted again until they were once again in a white room with a bed in the middle.
"Lay down"
Ella laid down on the bed and looked down, her belly was swelled and large again.
Zoey laid down on the bed beside her.
"We're more alike than i thought" Zoey said as she turned towards Ella on the bed.
"We're nothing alike" Ella said in response.
"We both care about our families"
Ella took in a deep breath and sighed "Even if i choose to believe that you care about these creatures, my quest is to kill them"
"We cant coexist?" Zoey said as she picked herself up from the bed.
"The tentacles rose up and murdered most of the men in this world....they started this"
Zoey came back and put a child in Ella's arms.
"He's yours" Zoey said
the small human child clinged to Ella's breast and started to suckle lovingly, Ella was overcome with emotion as she saw the child, her heart filled with warmth and she lost her train of throught.
"What will you name him?"
"What is this Zoey?"Ella asked as she cradled the small child who giggled as she adjusted it and moved it closer.
"It is your child.....give him a name"
"a name....." Ella said as she stared the little boy in the eyes, it looked back at her with its bright blue eyes and smiled at her innocently.
"Ethan......my fathers name"
"A fine name" zoey said, as she crawled back into the bed and scooted closer to Ella, reaching over and putting a hand on the child's arm.
"Come with me Ella, come with me and bring with Ethan"
"Where would we go?"
"We'll go home.....everyone will be there....your mother, my children, we can be one big happy family"
Ella looked down at her child, its blue eyes stared into hers
"ma" the child said as it gripped closer to Ella's body.

Zoey removed her hands from Ella's forehead and laid down flat against the alter which Ella was laid upon.
Ella opened her eyes to the sounds of the nearby waterfall, looking up at the clouds and reaching over to find Ethan still nestled tightly against her chest.
"You have to decide Ella whether this vengeance is the most important thing to you" Zoey said, as she herself stared up into the clouds.
Ella looked down and saw that her child was a blue tentacle creature which was latched tightly against her breast.
For a moment Ella simply laid there, continuing to breath as the creature continued to feed upon her.
Ella started to cry as the creature fed on her below, bringing her hand to her cheeks as her face showed more and more signs of emotion.
Zoey sat up on the Alter "Its time for you to decide, Ella"
What do you do?
A. Agree to travel with Zoey back to her Lair and abandon your Quest to kill the black overlord, instead agreeing to become united with your mother and become a tentacle slave as you raise 'Ethan'. (Begin Tentacle Enslavement Story)
B. Pick up your Warhammer and Kill what is undoubtedly your child 'Ethan', a tentacle Spawnling which you had birthed, force Zoey to uphold her side of the bargain and lead you to the black tentacle lair to kill her Overlord (Continue Divine Champion Story)
C. Refuse to kill the tentacle creature, but refuse to concede to Zoey, Take the creature with you and raise it on your own. , remain free but abandon your quest to kill the black overlord. (Begin 'Humble Existence' Story)
