The initial exploration proved to be unsuccesful, but once Adelle got to the door with the destroyed mannequins, there was an explosion of action. If you need a gun until we get out of here then you can use mine," she continued after standing back up, offering her gun and gun belt to the maid for now until they got out of this place, ready to head out when Rosieta was ready to, and ready to follow her lead once again, as she wasn't about to trust herself to make the right choice at the moment in which way to go.

Again, the apologies only caused a wall of silence from Rosieta. Maybe she was getting tired of them. When the girl offered her gun, the maid pushed it back to her. "You're better off with it than me. Instead, you can give that sword to me. With the exchange of weapons done, the two of them started going down the corridor. The open doors were empty now, only the offices behind them. Most likely the destroyed mannequins had come from these places and were then beaten down by the psycho-mode Rosieta.

Turning a corner, they found themselves on a similar corridor, though there was a bigger double-door in the middle. That was where Rosieta went, now looking much more focused and determined along the way. Getting hit too much had apparently left it's mark on her, and the maid was not kidding around anymore.

Inside, there was a grand office waiting for the two. The once luxurious furnishings were now sporting thick dust layers, and it looked like the two might have finally found what they were looking for. The person who had been using the office was slumped over his desk, now only a skeleton on top of a metal case. Inside his ribcage was a knife as well, heavily rusted and most likely not too good for further use.

Now that they were ready to go once they had exchanged weapons, Adelle followed Rosieta down the corridor, peeking in the now empty offices where she assumed the mannequins had all come from before being destroyed by the now insanely serious maid. The went on down, turning the corner and went down a similar corridor, with Adelle following close behind the maid, taking on a much more serious and determined look like her companion had, trying to focus on getting their job done so they could leave this place as soon as possible.

The two advanced on the office and entered inside, and once there Adelle saw that it looked much like an executive office, though rather dusty now of course from the ages of nothing happening. Glancing over at the dead body bent over the desk, Adelle saw the skeleton was on top of some sort of box, a knife stabbed into the ribcage of the skeleton which told her how he'd died at least.

"Well... this looks like a bigwigs office to me. Think it might be in here?" Adelle said once they'd looked around and took in the surroundings of the place, lowering her gun for a minute and checking once more to see if she'd reloaded the thing just in case, finding that she had she readied it again to fire if need be. Regardless of whether or not Rosieta thought they might find the briefcase in there, Adelle would move over to the skeleton and look closely at it, making sure there were no booby traps on it or the box before moving it off of the box and taking a look inside.

Adelle too saw them, mostly things in Spanish, but if she estimated right the top paper was some kind of family tree or roster. It did indeed appear that they might be of some historical value to Rosieta's boss man.

Adelle nodded at Rosieta as she began cautiously looking closely at the desk, then she jumped a little bit as the maid came over and merely kicked the long dead corpse and the chair it was kind of slumped in over. Adelle shrugged her shoulders and moved over beside Rosieta as the maid began looking inside of the metal case, pulling out papers that Adelle understand what they said as it was all in Spanish. The paper at the top seemed to be something that told Rosieta what she needed to know about something, making Adelle believe that it was some form of historical records of something, probably about the maid's boss's family if she had to guess.

"Thank the gods we've finally found it. Do you need me to carry this box or anything? I mean what all did we need to grab exactly? Was it just these papers, or was there something else more?" Adelle asked the maid with a curious look on her face, ready to be as helpful as she could. While Rosieta rummaged around in the box, Adelle searched around the room on the off chance her boots had been brought to here, however if they weren't then she would check a few of the offices on the way out.

While she did take a brief look into the case, Rosieta did not venture further into the contents of their target, instead simply closing it up again. "I do not know what this thing contains exactly... but it is not my position to question it... Getting it back to the master is what's important now." the maid answered as she picked the metal box up via the handle on the side, quite easily bringing it along since it was simply a briefcase. "And no, I can carry it just fine. I am the maid. And you have a gun, so better have both your hands free to aim." Of the boots there were no signs of around the room, which had been untouched for years before the two of them had entered to look for their quarry.

The boots were still nowhere to be found as the pair traced their steps to back away form the underground floor. As they were about to pass the doorway to the excavation room, something emerged from the door just as Rosieta was about to step in front of it. I was just sent to watch your back after all, so I won't ask questions, and don't worry, I'll do my best," Adelle replied to Rosieta, readying her gun and nodding her head to the maid. When her glance around the room brought no sign of her boots, she gave a defeated sigh, thinking that she wouldn't see them ever again as she followed Rosieta out of the large office.

After leaving the office, Adelle glanced in several of the rooms and still to no avail did she find her boots unfortunately, which caused her to sigh in total defeat as she made a mental note to herself to write them off as lost. That made one of her favorite shirts, her only good pair of shoes other than her new ones she got to go with her new clothes, which didn't much go with her adventuring clothes at all, but they were still wearable thankfully. She managed to thankfully keep her bluejeans though amazingly enough, which was a plus, though she'd also lost her old pair of panties in this place as well, but she'd gained several newer pairs of panties and thongs, as well as a few g-strings too, so she came out better than when she entered the place for lingerie at least.

Sighing as she followed Rosieta, the two of them soon came to the doorway to where the large hole had been with the ladder leading down into it, where as soon as they were starting to go past it, something exited out through the door and ran right into the maid, something large. She barely caught a good look as Rosieta swung her sword at whatever it was, with Adelle turning her head and the light on the helmet towards the shape as the blade connected with the... very strange looking creature, causing it to let out a screech of pain that was easy to tell it wasn't human, which of course Adelle could tell just by looking at it.

"Whoa what the hell is that thing?" Adelle asked aloud, aiming her gun at the thing's arms and firing at one of them, hoping to take out its ability to fight them as it looked pretty pissed off about Rosieta's attack on the strange bug and reptilian hybrid. Adelle didn't know what this strange beast was, but then again at this point she didn't really care as it was attacking them since Rosieta attacked it first, so she didn't think about anything but taking it out for now, deciding to focus on figuring out what it was afterwards.
