Darkness swept over Garret as his vision faded. The last of his spirit flowing into her, all but the last drop. "He holds his head up, and only is doing what he's told so far because it benefits him," Suika's voice replied. "Yes, you brought me what I wanted, but he is still far from what I desire. Now that I have one of the fragments of Fate's gift in my possession, I must ensure that the power belongs entirely to me... Based on what I've seen of him so far, once things do not go his way, he will attempt to refuse me. That possibility is not acceptable. When the time comes, my word must be held higher than any other honor in his mind. To that end, I entrust you with this." she said, pushing forth a piece of paper along a table that separated them.

Garret heard the rustling of paper, before silence... Then, Yorin replied. "Oi... Isn't this too much? He was my partner, you know..." Yorin complained slightly.

Suika laughed confidently. "If Garret does not learn that he cannot say no to me, this will force him to realize the truth of who he belongs to. Should another come to collect him, I don't want him falling into another woman's hands. If you bring me this, then I won't have to worry about that." she stated simply, and after a moment, laughed again. "Oh, relax! He won't suffer."

Yorin only gave a grumble, before standing. "I'll be off then, as I reckon he'd not be pleased to see me." he said, before leaving while Suika didn't say a word.

I wanted to know what you would do if you ever had any reason to doubt me. Instead of trying to run away and escape this complex before any ill were to befall you, you came to me directly. You are to be my slave, and making such demands is not acceptable...
