Umm, I'm having trouble defeating the ninja in the arena.

She's super fast, even after I've reduced her agility and increased my party's agility. Physical attacks and magic alike doesn't connect. She's always evading.

How'd you guys get past her?

It seems you can buy the cat outfit from the shopkeeper when she's standing outside the church near the end of the game under the following conditions:

- The very first time you meet her, say YES to the trade.
- Talk to her at least once while she's stood outside the hobbit village.
- After buying the armoury key for 10k, you can buy the cat outfit for 30k.

I haven't tested it yet so don't take this as gospel.

Also here are some of her stats to get an idea of how broken she is:
HP:111111, Defense:999, Spirit:999, Evade:100
Absorbs all damage.
Immune to all status.

so yeah, she's pretty much the most powerful being in the universe.

Wow, I wouldn't have thought of that. Umm, now I just have to think.

Edit: OK, I had no idea. I went back through the posts and found it. I wouldn't have tried that. I didn't really remember what scared her.

But, I've seen the "fight", and really... not impressed.

OK, so right now I'm at the refugee village (other side of the maze).

I've done:
* First photoshoot (schoolgirl dress)
* Found the girl in the alternate dimension. She's just waiting at the teleporter now with her jelly girl.
* Read the stuff when you examine the wall in the hunted mansion. Something about needing to find gun girl. And, some talk about level 4. I've searched that level, but can't find her.

If I pay $5000 I get dumped in a fair hard dungeon, so I'm not gonna do that, preferring to hang on to my money.

And, my next fight in the arena is against A.

And, I can's see where the next plot hook is. Do I need to get to S rank for the story to resume?

I guess I focus on the arena and see what happens then. I needed to grind quite a bit to get the right fighters, with most of their spells. I hate how you have to grind for levels before powers drop.

you need four aces to open the doors in bonus dungeon

Spade ace: Hidden in the chest in egg store of B2
Heart ace: Found on the table nearby the exit of B9
Diamond ace: Acquired from the opponent of Rank S after the contest (it's ok that you lose or win)
Club ace: After recruiting the nun, go back to the mayor in fairy village

So I suppose you already passed the horror house and face the church.

First trigger the event with the white-hair girl before the church, then find two light orbs from two different clefts, install them into the candles outside the church.

You need three male tentacle monsters to enter the right cleft, and two kinds of mushrooms (one nearby arena, one before the town of horror house) for the left one.

investigate the wall in the horror house (right door) and find the gunner girl in inn, take her to the place.

the horror house is the one in a town, instead of a dark region

What's a good strategy for defeating the masked maid in the arena? She's rank A, and I've fought her more than fifteen times, and haven't gotten close to winning. She cheats (I think).

Anyway, anyone have a good suggestion? What status spells are affective on her? I know blind doesn't work. I suspect silence wouldn't. But most of her damage comes from her sword anyway, so.

My idea was to up the def on me, lower att on her, and for the first part of the fight it's good. But once she talks, she targets the weakest people, using a triple-hit attack, sometimes with paralysis attached. She's able to debuff both sides, plus have her normal attack.

So...?

Edit: Oh wow! I was looking for the gunner girl all over the place, and gave up on her. I didn't even think to check the inn after the first time. And without your comment, I probably would have continued to try to beat the arena... Well, back to story-mode I guess.

Yes I did go through the wall in the horror house to find the white haired girl. The thing is that I don't remember how to get back to the horror house. I'm stuck on 5th floor i believe (where you fight the lightning girl before). It's giving me a message saying something is bad when I try to go south.

The location is at the stairwell that connnects from floor of knight town, to floor with lightning girl boss. ???

I just think you need stronger monsters; at least I beat the arena just before the final boss, one of my member can raise all status of party, one can reduce all status of enemies.

If you're insisting to beat her now, try some "hard" monsters with physical and electric resistance.

go to arena and talk to the cat-girl with succubus outfit, you'll get an item to activate the teleport function in your headquarter by talking to one of the yellow slime.
