Strangely, this platform doesn't have any guards: apparently, Azalin isn't worried about aerial threats. Helena does spot a few large claw marks on the stone, leaving towards the gate at the side of the tower.

So.. this platform had no guards, a gate, and fucking enormous gouges from claws in the stone. Yup, no thanks. All of her collective o hell no.

Running to the edge of the platform, Helena found one further down, 3rd ring it seemed, and instead waved cheerfully at a guard from the air, once again cradling goo monster in her shirt. who was booping her nose again.

Helena for King Azalin? Please don't shoot at me, it took a long time to fly out here...

The guard instantly turns towards Helena, but keeps his crossbow lowered. "Settle down where I can have a look at you, friend."

Gladly, just give a girl a spot to land. she answered, drifting slowly over to set her feet on the stone of the battlements, before sighing as she put her wings away.

Please tell me you knew I was coming... or this is gonna be really awkward...

"Ye're not the first strange quest we've had, lass." the guard replies, looking Helena over and noting the lack of apparent weapons. "Wait here while I get the rupert." he turns and heads to the door.

Probably... just... used to worse reactions. she said, before nodding and relaxing as he said he was gonna get THE Rupert, Not Rupert, not A Rupert. the Rupert. She didn't even know what that meant.

The guard is gone for several minutes. "The rupert" turns out to be a sleepy officer who nevertheless approaches Helena carefully. "Mind explaining who you are?" he asks, none too politely.

You have a few other guests, Jasmine, Willow, Cindy, a couple gigantic spiders, a dire wolf? Yea, I'm with them? I was supposed to be expected. My name is Helena, I was invited here by Azalin personally. Helena answered, trying really hard to be polite.

The officer leads Helena inside and through the nearly labyrinthine hallways and stair cases to one of the nicer hallways and finally stops to the side of a door. "Your friends are in here. I expect the king will see you in the morning."

Oomph! was the sudden response to her own Hello as Strike made herself known with her usual greeting of tackle Helena.

Hugging the goofy spider back tightly, the slimebaby was sent splatting into the room to look around by itself, because, why not, while Helena looked around the room from underneath Strike.

Behind the door is a nicely furnished sitting room where Flame and Jasmine are waiting. "Hi. Cindy and Willow are sleeping." Jasmine says, lounging in a comfortable looking chair.

Bah, humans and their sleep. Helena said, grinning, before wriggling out from under Strike and standing, looking around for the slimebaby for a moment before heading in to sit down herself.

So, how is our esteemed host? she asked Jasmine, stroking Strike behind her eyes gently while she fished out her collar with her free hand from the sack of many restraints.

Strike happily follows Helena around like a giant spider, pleased at Helena's touch. "He's been... pleasant, even if he hasn't paid much attention to us. He even gave us limited access to his library."

I haven't named it yet. It's.. he's.. It's a formless mass and it's purple! I love him well enough but what am I gonna call him? Indigo? Fuck it! That's his name! Indigo. Helena said, facepalming.

And considering how many times I had to stop while moving around with it? I've called it MANY things. she continued, flopping forward onto Strike, light as a feather.

Strike... I'm tired. take me to bed? she asked sadly, scratching the spider between her legs and along her sides.
