"Something to think about, then." After quite a bit of wiggling and shifting, Helena finds herself on Jasmine's lap, though small as she currently is, spooning isn't quite the right word. "The king probably has some sort of a library as well."

Ooo, I'm planning on it, the question is how many books we can get away with without him noticing. I'm not paying a king for books. Stealing them though? That I could do. Wish we could just eat books and absorb their knowledge. Save us a ton of time. Helena chuckled out.

Comfy in Jasmine's lap, Helena curled up happily with a little sigh. So far both demons present had resisted the urge to command the OTHER two, usually forgotten demons. This was fortunate for all planning currently being done. That, and Helena found herself liking the feeling of nostalgia as she cuddled Jasmine, just being adorable.

probably, but I'd be a dark queen of hoarded knowledge, destroyer of libraries, scourge of dictionaries, lord of the internet... I guess.

Pouting for a moment, Helena sprouted little cat ears and a tail and purred gently surrounded by her friends.

We'll be off the boat soon enough though, and then I can go back to being distracted by every stray thought and shiny thing I see. Until then, I may just stay in here until the trip is over. We already had a close call with a peeping tom, so I'd best just behave.

You could, but what we'd even swap at this point I'm unsure. I think a lot of what you can do is beyond me still. Wont know unless we try though. Helena said, thinking, before clapping her hands together. Chibi Helena had gotten lightbulb. Well... not really a lightbulb, more like a little purple flame that had popped up above her head before vanishing.

Your invisibility is better then mine, gimme that. Pleeeease~ Helena said, making a pouty little face to go with her tiny body. Being small was more fun then she remembered. Seriously, if she just wandered around pretending to be everyone's kid sister, no one would ever suspect a child of the mischief she got up to.

Jasmine giggles and squeezes Helena for a bit. *Very well. Let's get started.* Helena feels Jasmine's thoughts meld with hers and the patterns of invisibility spell start appearing in her mind.

Helena, linking up with Jasmine, hugged her back as she started studying the pattern of the spell that was drifting into her mind, it was a lot like the spell she had been using for a long time now, but there was a subtle change here... and there... and WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT THING!? Ok, this spell wasn't exactly the same, it was obnoxiously more complex in certain areas.

Digging her heels in, Helena worked on memorizing the pattern she was seeing, and the motions she would have to call to mind to manipulate it. Still, for the effort, this spell would be more stable then one she had been using, no more burning through her energy to stay unseeable for a simple minute...

When Helena has finally learned the spell, the sun is already starting to set, not that it is easy to tell with the slow, constant rain. Someone has thoughtfully left a tray with two bowls of soup and some bread on the small table, but they have long since grown cold.

nuzzling up to Jasmine, and growing back to full size to kiss her properly as a thank you when they exited the trance, Helena noticed the meal. Seems we're not allowed to starve, though I'm pretty convinced at this point we don't need to eat real food.... Hrm... She said thoughtfully, before just wreathing her hand in flame, and reheating her soup carefully.

When it was hot enough to eat, she did so, enjoying the meal happily. And the annoying part of things was that she wasn't all that tired, Groggy sure, but not tired.

ooo, reheat that, not bad at all. she cooed happily, drinking the soup as she leaned back. You know what I've found surprising? I haven't been chased by anyone with a torch or a pitchfork. Odd the little fantasies we make up in our minds...

Jasmine heats and eats her soup as well. "Give it a couple more villages. It's bound to happen sooner or later." Just then the ship abruptly slows down.

It'll be funny, I'm sure. If they try to burn as at the stake, remember, we can't laugh until we just can't hold it in anymore. Helena said, laughing until she felt the boat slow down.

Slurping down her soup and stuffing her bread into her mouth, Helena dove back into her clothing, now fully sized and redressing almost as fast as she could undress...

Either we're at our destination, or something happened, cmon. Helena muttered, popping her back before heading topside.

Jasmine follows Helena to the deck, where the captain is yelling at the sailor holding the steering wheel. Meanwhile, other sailors throw the anchor. This certainly doesn't look like the destination, for there are no houses nor other people to be seen, only more forest.

Our luck on boats is shit. Seriously. Helena muttered, seeing the pandemonium topside.

Shaking her head, Helena dashed up to the front of the boat, looking around for the possible problem so she could kill it and they could move on with their day.

There seems to be a large rock or something in the water, just under the surface. The river appears quite shallow here.

Stomping up to the captain, Helena controlled her features and addressed him as politely as possible. Captain, Am I to understand we're... Stopping.... Because... of that big cocksucking rock in the middle of the gods damned river!?... .Sir? she asked, clenching her teeth as she rolled options around in her mind for clearing a big fucking rock.

"We're stopping because it's getting too dark and misty to see if there are any other rocks there. I'm not getting paid enough to risk my hull, especially with this woolhead of a sailor on the wheel." The captain replies darkly, his features tense with anger.

Wait... dark and misty and more rocks. Well shit, I can't fix the weather can I, But I can see in the dark. If I knew how to steer your boat, I would... But... damn. Well, consider us both annoyed, I'd offer you a drink if I thought it could help, but! my curiosity beckons, be right back. Helena said, before stepping off the edge of the ship and floating down to the water's surface.

Standing there, looking at the water, Helena looked at the offending rock, and started walking downstream, looking for more. Stupid rocks, being stupid.

The mists start to rise as Helena heads forward, looking for rocks. Though the darkness is no barrier to her, soon the mists are thick enough that she can't see more than maybe ten or twenty feet ahead, yet she still manages to spot some more rocks. Suddenly a scream comes from the direction of the ship.

Helena curses as she does indeed see more rocks, but the scream tears her attention back to the ship. Hurtling back to the ship as fast as she could move, Helena was already confused and pissed off. *Sis! Who's screaming!? Are the girls alright?!* she called out to Jasmine, even before she'd alighted back on the ships deck.
