As Helena and Jasmine land, Fenrir pads over to Helena and sits down, his tongue lolling out as the heavy wolf pants lightly, ignoring Jasmine.

Jasmine studies the animal. "I'm not sure. I have a feeling that we won't be able to lift him like they did with the horses."

Helena scratches Fenrir behind the ears, thinking hard. *Think I can keep up with the boat on foot?* Helena asked after a moment, not liking the idea of trying to carry a wolf with tentacles onto a boat of strange people. And the only other option she could think of being summoning him through hell like Strike had been.

Jasmine shakes her head. "I don't think so. He probably can, though."

The large wolf wiggles his ears and jumps against Helena to lick her face.

Helena frowns, trying to figure things out, but not being able to bind the animal, and completely certain she couldn't carry him in the air, let alone whether he would tolerate it. Scratching Fenrir and chuckling at being licked, Helena hugged the large animal thinking furiously.

"Alright, head back to the ship, I'll... Think of something. And I'll be plenty safe with Fenrir. I'm more worried about the vampire personally, and he was stalking the other girls, he ran from me. If you think you can pull off a summons like last time, then I'd like to try, otherwise I'll catch up. I can find you and Strike anywhere so no worries about getting lost."

"See you later, then." Jasmine gives Helena a pat on the shoulder before taking to the air, her angelic wings quickly beating as she gathers more height, quickly distancing herself from Helena.

Fenrir wags lazily as he's hugged before settling back down.

*Yup, see you later* Helena says smiling, starting to jog, making herself light as a feather to lower the strain on her muscles. "Come on you big goof, we have ground to cover" Helena said smiling.

Fenrir jogs alongside Helena, matching her pace easily. They haven't been traveling for very long when their way is obstructed by a group of birches surrounded by a thick patch of nettles. Just outside the shadow of the trees lies a patch of rosebushes with white flowers. There is a small cairn in the midst of the trees, with a single flower growing on top of it.

Helena slows down and looks around, admiring the roses in particular before approaching the cairn, wondering what it was about. The single flower marked it as a grave possibly, or it could simply be a marker, either way, it drew her attention. The problem was the damned nettles, horrible stinging plants that required either removal or avoidance. But she wanted to get closer to that cairn. Shrugging and wanting them gone, but not wanting a fire, Helena fell back onto Acid, clearing herself a path to the cairn and muttering curses the entire time.

The acid doesn't seem very effective in causing the plants to wilt, but with some effort Helena manages to clear her way enough to get to the cairn. The cairn is a simple round pile of roughly smooth stones, probably taken from the river, with a single white lily growing on top of it, and no other markings. The cairn is roughly five feet high and about half again as wide at the bottom.

Helena pats the stones and looks at the Lily, wondering what it was all for, but for once, leaving her curiosity unsated on the off chance that it was a grave, chuckling and making a mental note of the spot, Helena gave it one last look and headed off again.

Fenrir waits for Helena outside the grove. When Helena comes back and starts going around it past the roses, the wolf follows her at first, but suddenly stops from approaching them, sniffing the air and appearing to be puzzled.

Helena stops when Fenrir starts sniffing the roses, trusting his senses more then her own. "What you found there bud" Helena asked quietly, looking further into the roses.

Helena doesn't see anything moving amongst the white roses, nor does there seem to be anything strange about them, save that they smell even better than normal roses. Fenrir continues to sniff the air, and seems slightly reluctant to go near them.

Helena scritches Fenrir, taking a moment to smell the roses, finding the odd thought extremely amusing as she breathed in the scent deeply, reaching out to pluck one of the flowers, using an extended nail to cut the flower so she could put it in her hair, it really did smell amazing.

The bush shivers and suddenly the thorny branches shoot towards Helena, trying to wrap around her. One of the branches lashes against Helena's hand, tearing several small wounds to it that start bleeding. The rosepetals of the bush turn red at the very tips, taking on the color of blood.

Helena snarls angrily, her hands flaring with flame as the bush came to life. You couldn't even enjoy the goddamned flowers here! Cursing, Helena tried to back up a few feet, pitching fire into the bush and swearing loudly.

The flames miss the bush, harmlessly setting fire on a patch of grass next to it, instead. As Helena back away, the bush shivers and becomes still again.

Helena looks at the small wounds, swearing under her breath before aiming to kill the bush again, annoyed as hell. Better she kill it now then let someone else who COULDN'T throw fire wandered into it.

The patch of rosebushes is soon burning merrily, and their sweet scent is replaced by thick, bitter smoke. Fenrir is well away from the flames, appearing ready to run away.

Helena snorts and pitches enough ice into the fire to control the blaze, figuring the greenery wouldn't catch if the fire was made a little smaller before turning to walk back towards Fenrir and comforting him. "It's alright boy, lets go, the mean bush is dead" Helena says softly, stroking him before heading towards the boat again. No point in staying and if the world burned... This place was miserable, let it.
