The misty figure keeps rolling forward, reaching the camp and continuing towards the river.

Helena gave a mental affirmative *It's heading towards the river* as her jaw elongated and filled with razor sharp teeth, her horns growing to foot long jagged points and her hands and feet becoming tipped with savage looking talons. "The longer you prolong this, the angrier I become wretch" Helena snarled, her voice taking a deep timber that sounded almost like a growl.

The mist continues flying near the ground, glittering as the moonlight reaches it.

Now past frustrated, Helena muttered the words to one last annoying little spell, wondering if getting the mist wet would cause it's structure to condense, essentially forcing the creature the reassume a physical form. Although her form was twisted beyond recognition, the words and gestures were quick and simple and Cindy's annoying trick of dowsing somebody in a deluge of water came into being.

The sudden rainfall pushes the mist downwards, causing it to freeze for a moment before the water flows down and the mist solidifies into the form of a handsome, very pale man who stares at helena in surprise for a moment before turning to run, the river now only a couple hundred feet away.

*Its a Man! Catch him!* Helena practically screams over the mental link. "Please Stop!?" Helena shouted wildly, dropping the insane and hideous form as she vaulted after him, keeping the long legs and arms and using them to keep pace, desperately trying to grab him and get him to stop.

The man keeps running, easily reaching the halfway point towards the river as Helena easily keeps pace with him as her wings give her extra speed, but the man's weaving and dodging stops her from catching him.

Helena can feel Jasmine getting closer, but the older succubus is still too far to help for now.

Helena snarled as he continued to elude her grasp, and that of her tendrils, knowing the window was closing and having nothing at her disposal apart from this last plan to catch him. Trying again, Helena attempted to snare the man and trip him up at the very least, getting very tired of this seemingly futile chase.

The vampire falls to the ground, only to immediately roll back to his feet, thus exposing his back to Helena.

And it was at that moment that Helena struck with everything she had. She had no idea how many tendrils she could spawn, but to describe the mass that erupted into existence to seize the man who had his back vulnerably turned to her would be like trying to describe stars in the sky. She had no other options at her disposal for stopping a man without hurting him, if that would stop him at all, and probably wouldn't. And it was with this insane explosion of limbs that she tried to seize him...

Through some sixth sense, the man manages to avoid the tentacles and continues running towards the river, leaving Helena one last chance of stopping him.

"I warned you" Helena said as she hurled a ball of sickly green light at the back of the fleeing man, Refusing to let him escape unscathed. That he wouldn't stop meant he meant ill in one form or another...

Helena's bolt misses the man and he dives into the river. Helena can see Jasmine getting closer at fast speed, looking past Helena.

Helena bellows a string of curses that would make satan shudder at the sheer profanity streaming from her mouth as she dove after him, straight into the water and moving as quickly as possible, still giving chase to the best of her abilities

The man disappears into the dark river, and there's no sign of him when Helena dives in. Jasmine lands on the shore, looking after Helena worriedly.

Helena explodes out of the river screaming fury, hellfire, and bloody damnation and she throws bolt after bolt after bolt of lightning after what could only be a motherfucking vampire, but not like the one she had fought before, this one could change and shift like something out of a goddamn bram stoker fairy tale. After a few minutes of futiley killing fish, Helena alighted on the shore and stomped back to camp, fuming.

Jasmine waits for Helena on the shore, fists placed on her hips. "Okay, what the fuck happened here, Helena?"

Helena sent a very clear image of what she had been chasing, in all of its forms, and it's final pale humanoid one, letting her memorise his face. "The fuck do you think! I Found this scumbag lurking near the camp, probably hoping for an easy fucking meal and leaving us with a cold corpse like all of those worthless deceitful bottom feeding parasites do. I see him? I don't care, I'm killing him just like the last one." Helena said in a furious rush, still fuming as she turned back to the river and gave another frustrated shout.

"You Here That you Pigfucking Parasitic Bloodmonkey! You just made the top of my fucking Shitlist!"

Jasmine frowns and walks with Helena back into the camp. "So you found him and instead of attacking or talking with you, he tried to run away? Yet another strange thing. Let's hope we've seen the last of him."

"He'd better hope that's the last we've seen of him, Remind me to buy some bigass bottles of holy water pissed out by god and blessed by the pope himself, and anything that qualifies as an explosive. I don't care how quick you are, you can't dodge a grenade" Helena muttered angrily. First Cultists, the ship arriving soon, and now a goddamned vampire. Helena wasn't going to be sleeping again anytime soon.

Sitting down by the fire, Helena brewed a pot of coffee by willing the flames into existence and scowling into the twisting orange forms as they licked at the air, and the pot. "He didn't attack, he changed forms not once, but twice to get away, and despite everything, still escaped. Either he already knew that feeding from me was no good, couldn't kill me, or... Something else entirely, Strange doesn't even begin to cover it." Helena said bitterly, now making a pretty fair guess at who had trashed all the holy goodies. "Jasmine, does that holy spell of yours still work here?" She asked curiously.
