The guard gives Helena a respectful salute. "I wouldn't know about the rumors, milady. I expect there'll be an official announcement later today, if there really has been an attack. I expect the Pave Ragnaar himself may make it during the midday sermon."

Helena thanked the man and started heading in the direction of the church. If the announcement was going to be during the midday sermon, then missing it would be a shame. She saw no reason why she wouldn't be able to enter, holy symbols and the like had never given her any trouble before. Helena strongly suspected that that had more to do with the fact that she wasn't evil, just demonic, but regardless, she still moved carefully and kept a careful eye on the people and the church as she ventured closer.

It doesn't take long for the crowd to lead Helena to a large cathedral in the very center of the city, next to the prince's palace. All around her, the peasants are in the state of fearful reverence, their mentality very slave like. The entire cathedral stenches of fearful obedience, and the feeling turns Helena's stomach. It seems that she has arrived just as the sermon is about to begin.

Helena ignores the feeling in her stomach, and the feelings of those around her, the terrified masses cowering at the feet of the papal authority was enough to make her hurl. Still, she was strangely and comfortingly not angry, which was a blessing today it seemed as she waited for the sermon to start, ready to basically transmit it to Jasmine if the news was important.

A graying, regal looking man steps forward to the altar and the crowds fall silent. Helena can almost feel godliness surrounding the holy man, and he certainly knows it, too. "Strange events took place last night. Our beloved prince was attacked, but with Lawgiver's blessing he survived, and the attacker was slain, to be banished to eternal slavery, the fate which awaits all who sin against the Iron Guardian! Prince Othmar has decided to step down temporarily while he recovers from the shock, appointing Duke Elomar of Vishnek as his regent."

Helena chuckled softly so only she could hear as she turned and vanished from the crowd, not with magic, but with natural grace, moving away and through the people as she made her way back to the Inn. *Apparently I'm dead Jasmine* She sent over with a mental chuckle. *Othmar has stepped down and appointed another of the Vishneks as Regent for now, a Duke Elomar*

The priest starts his sermon, impressing the importance of obeying the will of the lawgiver and the natural order rather impressively for full hour before stopping.

Helena shakes her head and snorts at the rediculousness of the church, heading back to the Inn to meet up with the others, before making sure everyone was either ready to go see Oleg, or start packing and shopping for the supplies they would need to leave. Looking at Jasmine, Helena raised an eyebrow for a moment. "I take it you cleaned the blood from that coin..." She said quietly, not wanting to think about the child.

Helena looked every bit the noble woman rather then the surly blonde in armour, and was more then happy to go talk to Oleg and get the hell out of this twisted City.

"I did." Jasmine answers in equally quiet voice. There isn't very much to pack apart from the bundles of dresses that would be inconvenient to carry to say the least. Aqua is wearing her all-covering outfit again, and the two spiders seem excited.

Strangely, Cindy seems to be the one taking the charge. "Alright, I'll go shopping with Aqua, the spiders stay here and Helena and Jasmine go talk with Oleg. We'll need horses, food, tents, cooking supplies and a good map. What else?"

Helena snickers quietly at Cindy "I think someone is eager to leave~" She said teasingly before letting Cindy handle the travelling preparations while she and Jasmine went to handle Oleg. Odds were the Paladin would be happy to know that Othmar wasn't actually dead, since he seemed to frown on murder. Regardless, it was time to get the hell out of here before Helena wound up in some kind of church dungeon for setting nuns on fire. *Lets go deal with Oleg then Sis and wrap this place up.*

Olag's manor is easily found, this time, and Igor leads Helena and Jasmine to his office, where he appears to be working on something.

Helena smiles at Igor as they are led up to the office and plomps down in a nearby chair. "Oleg dear, please, turn away from the work for 5 minutes and do us the courtesy of looking at us when we talk please?" Helena said pouting.

"Othmar has stepped down as a certain demon threatened to drag his soul to hell. So. That's handled."

"Oh, good afternoon Helena and Jasmine," Oleg says, looking up. "Yes, I head the news, although certain details were omitted. I also heard that it's temporary."

Helena chuckled and smiled. "Details that were omitted as follows. In a blind rage I broke into his castle, shot him several times, scared the ever loving shit out of him, threatened to drag him to hell if he didn't do right by his people, and somehow miraculously made it back to the Inn without dying. And while temporary, I wouldn't worry. Malken didn't like the idea of having this Vishnek on the throne, even as Regent."

"The point is, that the job is handled, without blatant murder, although I certainly tried, and Othmar has stepped down from the throne. So we're leaving the city. Also, What did you do with Willow...."

"You've met Malken?" Oleg sounds quite shocked.

"Willow is currently in a small village near the Barovian border. The village is called Goat's Green, I believe."

"Ya. We've met Malken. And I'd rather not talk about him unless you know where he is so I can dispassionately rip his heart out and eat it. As for Willow, If she's safe, then I'm happy." Helena said quietly.

Thinking hard, Helena figured there wouldn't be much good in deciding where they were going until they had a map. "Jasmine, unless you can think of anything I'm forgetting, I think our business with our benefactor here is concluded and we can get away from this miserable city."

"I suppose so. It's been a pleasure to work for you, mylord." Jasmine says with a curtsy and a smile. Oleg gets up and gives both of them a bow. "The pleasure's all mine."

Helena, tired of the stuffy lords constant proper behaviour, ambushed him with a hug and a good solid squeeze. "Loosen up a little Oleg. Thanks for helping us out." She said with a smile before heading for the door.

*So. Willow is in Goat's Green, and we have other priorities... Should we try to get her back to our world? Or leave her here....*

Oleg seems surprised by the hug, but answers it regardless. "Perhaps next time. I do hope we'll get to work together again."

Jasmine seems to consider this as they head out. *I think it should be her choice. We'll need all the help we can get, though. Did she seem happy last time you saw her?"

Or is this that oldest and wisest of running away secrets. Don't Run anywhere. Just Run?* Helena sent over to Jasmine as they walked, a sparkle in her eye and her head full of mischief. it would be good to get away from the city, it's comforts were making them all lazy...
