Finally the pair finds their way to a manor, quite a bit more luxurious than the one Oleg has rented. In front of it, there's a group of noblemen talking with each other, and Helena recognizes one of them as her first customer in the city. Jasmine quickly moves to address him. "Lord Allen? Could I have a word with you in private?"

The man looks startled, but quickly nods and takes Jasmine aside, starting a whispered conversation with her. Helena can feel the startlement melting into curiosity, and then amusement. If she was a little closer, she might be able to listen what they're talking about.

Helena looks at the house, and then smiles at Lord Allen. Wondering what they were saying, Helena began to sneak closer, pricking her ears. The emotions coming from Allen were curious and now she was curious, and curiosity always got her in trouble.

Soon enough Helena's sensitive ears begin to catch parts of the conversation. "... and she'll be yours for the entire evening for 500." "500? You can barely earn 100 in entire evening between both of you. I'll give you 120." "450" "I'll pay three hundred, but it's you both and not just her." "600 for both of us, no less." "400 and we can do anything we like." "500 and anything but no injuries or bruising" Allen shakes his head, but offers a hand, which Jasmine shakes.

Helena sighs and realises that apparently vengeance comes in the form of being rented for the night, or at least that's what it sounded like. Acting like she hadn't heard anything, she just waited for Jasmine to finish up.

Jasmine walks back to Helena. "What do we do now?" *Would you like to hear details or be surprised?*

Helena smiles and shakes her head a little. *500 for the night, not bad, fill me in*

Jasmine starts idly walking away from the manor. *After dinner, Cindy is going to put in stocks, blindfold and gag us and then lead us to the party, where they'll get to have fun with us. Remember to act surprised for Cindy, since you're not supposed to know this.*

Helena chuckles before nodding. *Stocks? Clever girl, not what I would have thought at all, at least you know she goes all out for a revenge*

Jasmine grins at Helena. *It's going to be a fun night, not to mention profitable.*

There seem to be no beggars in the streets here, but more than enough guards are moving about, looking with suspicion anyone not dressed richly. Helena can also hear pieces of conversation, enough to gather that the church has officially decided to blame the strange phenomena from the day before yesterday on witch craft, and is therefore hunting any magic users near that part of the city.

Helena listens to the snippets around them, how the church is blaming witchcraft, and she immediately worries about Willow. Fidgeting a little, she finally asked Jasmine. *If the church is looking for witches, and anyone knows about Willow.... We need to do something Jas*

Helena can feel Jasmine worrying, too. *As much as I'd like to help, I don't know what we can do apart from warning her. And she probably won't be eager to leave.*

Helena swore under her breath, wondering what they could do about it. *Could she maybe stay with us in our room?* Helena asked curiously, walking a little faster.

Jasmine takes a look at Helena and matches her pace. *I suppose. But if she's already under suspicion, they'll come looking for her, and we'll be in trouble, too.*

*Well, we have to do something!, What about Oleg? Think he would help?* She asked after a moment. The man had been helping women in lousy situations, and he dealt with demons, surely he wouldn't mind Willow...

*You could ask him. He's probably not too fond of the church, either.* While they were talking, Helena and Jasmine have arrived to the inn, and Jasmine heads upstairs.

Turning at the door, Helena immediately moved back in the direction of Oleg's manor, wanting to try and make sure that Willow wouldn't be burned at the stake simply for existing, not after Helena had found her alive and well. even if it was in the wrong world...

Helena finds her way to Oleg's manor fairly quickly, and Igor lets her in, leading her to Lord Oleg, who happens to be relaxing in the library.

Helena nods her head in Oleg's direction as she's led into the library before speaking. "Oleg, I have a problem... I know a girl who's very good with herbs, who is probably going to be accused of witch craft by the church. She's very important to me, is there anything you can do, or that I can, or something..."

Helena tried, but couldn't really keep the desperation out of her voice. She didn't want to lose Willow again...

Oleg frowns and puts his book on his lap. "It would be best if she left the city, possibly for good. If you think you can wait, send her to talk with me after the nightfall and I'll take care of it."

Helena shakes her head, "It can't wait, a woman wandering around at night is suspicious enough, moreover, I will be indisposed and can't guard her on the way here. I'll go get her now."

If Oleg did nothing to stop her, she would make her way back to the Inn, and Willow's room, taking her directly to Oleg to have it handled. If the Church was going to start a witch hunt, then Helena didn't want Willow out and about after dark.
