Tom's smile widens until it looks as if the top of his head might fall off. "You can leave it to me, miss. I'll let you know when I find him." The urchin gives Helena a bow and disappears to the crowd in a run.

Helena smiles as well, looking at Jasmine and Cindy. "O yea, Tom will turn him up, and quickly too if that enthusiasm was any indicator. I'm going to go collect some silk while I let him do the leg work and earn the coin. Anyone care to give me a hand?" Helena asked, starting to head back to the Inn.

"I'll help," Cindy volunteers. As they arrive at the inn, Helena can see Willow in the common room, eating lunch by herself.

Helena smiles and waves at Willow, feeling the pain in her heart for a moment before forcing it away. Refocusing on the task at hand, Helena headed up to the room, and then tried to get the Spiders down into the room. Failing that, she would climb to the roof discreetly and handle it up there.

Willow smiles back at Helena, and she can feel the red-haired woman's eyes on the back of her head as she turns away.

Once in the rooms, Helena's inquiry wakes Strike up, and soon the spider knocks on the window.

Helena opens the window and prepares herself for the glomping she knew was coming, idly wondering how to get the other spider to join them in the room. Getting thread from that one could prove tricky...

"Cindy, did you ever get your spider to spin silk for you?" Helena asked curiously as she opened the window.

"I just collected their webs from the roof. They didn't seem to mind." As Helena opens the window, Strike indeed does glomp Helena, managing to catch Jasmine as well.

"Really? Huh, well, Crap. Okay." Helena said through her giggles as she hugged the large Spider back.

Extricating herself, Helena headed up to the roof. "TO THE ROOF! FOR GOLD!"

Cindy gets out of the window before Helena, and when Strike and Helena get on the roof, the other spider is already hugging her. A large part of the roof is covered in cobwebs, with a number of dead and living pigeons hanging from them.

When the spider lets go of her, Cindy draws her dagger and gets to work, cutting off the web in parts and putting the pigeons and the remains into separate piles.

Helena cuts started helping, copying Cindy's motion as they went about collecting the Silk, Helena thanking Shrike as they went. She would thank the other spider as well, but she doubted it cared, unbound as it was. After a few minutes of the work, Helena started singing.

As Helena and Cindy are gathering the webs, Strike and the other spider seem to be...conversing, for lack of a better word, touching each other with their pedipalps and occasionally legs. Strike seems to be in mischievous mood.

Helena watched the goofy pair as they talked in spider about spidery things. Sensing Strike's playful mood, Helena prepared herself for everything from a prank to an egging, never really knowing what to expect from the arachnid who always acted in an unexpected manner.

Resigning herself to whatever mischief the spiders were up to if it involved her, Helena just focused on the task of gathering the Silk.

As Helena and Cindy finish gathering the webbing, both spiders head inside through the window. There is perhaps four pounds of spidersilk, all in all.

Helena is impressed with the haul, assuming that the Spider's had decided to behave. As everyone was gathered in the room now, Helena gave both spiders a pat and kiss, thanking them for the silk as she got it put away. It was a good haul.

Sitting down, Helena looked at Jasmine. "Any word from Tom yet?" Helena doubted the boy could move against all odds that quickly, but hey, stranger things had happened.

As Helena and Cindy get into the room, Jasmine is scratching the other spider's head. "Not yet." She has discarded the more elaborate clothes, and is wearing a simple silk shirt and pants of the same material.

Helena smiles and nods. "Nice outfit Jasmine, simple and sexy~" Helena said with an admiring look. "Jasmine! You could bind that spider to yourself! I've yet to see you with a familiar!" Helena can't keep the excitement out of her voice at the idea. "It has it's bonuses! Climbing is easier for me, and my sense are sharper when Strike is around, Its really nice. Besides, I'm sure Strike would love a friend who had a brain as big as hers~" She said teasingly.

Jasmine raises an eyebrow at the suggestion. "She's Cindy's spider, not mine. It wouldn't be fair for me to bind her. She should do it."

Cindy's eyes widen. "I can't do that! I'm not a spell caster."

"I know Jasmine, its just, Cindy doesn't seem to want to be one of us" Helena said with a slight pout, casting a hopeful look at Cindy. "Have you thought about that at all Cindy? Just being able to fly is amazing."

"You don't have to become one of us to cast spells. Having a familiar and a few spells does come handy, even if you don't want to go all the way." Jasmine tempts Cindy, who looks from one succubus to another, looking lost.

Helena smiles softly, "She's right, you can cast without becoming one of us if you don't want, just takes practice" Helena says sitting and wondering what Cindy would decide. Her hesitation was still a mystery to Helena, but she'd accept any answer she had to give.
