Red turns to look Helena eye to eye before planting a kiss on her lips and Strike seems content on lying on top of them for the moment, her abdomen pinning Helena's legs in place.

Helena blinks in surprise before returning the kiss, confused by, but not fighting the strange turn of events, occasionally pulling on her legs which were completely trapped by Strike's bulk...

The pair lies on top of Helena for a few more minutes before getting up and Red starts cooking lunch, with Strike helping - trying to, at any rate, though the giant arachnid isn't well suited for kitchen.

Helena stands up and gently scoots the Spider out of the kitchen before helping herself, hoping to avert any potential disasters that could have been prevented with thumbs, after lunch it would most likely be time to leave and they could hopefully get this mess figured out.

Strike goes under the bed, pouting, and the lunch - meatballs and spaghetti - doesn't take long to prepare. Though there is perhaps a little too much garlic in the meatballs, the food is still tasty, and Strike comes out once Helena and Red have eaten, still grumpy.

Helena sits on the floor with her back facing the spider, and pretends to hide something in her hands, occasionally glancing back at Strike and making a show of turning back quickly to gaze intently at the mystery object...

At one glance the spider is behind Helena, apparently not paying attention, the next she's gone. When Helena turns to look back, she finds Strike hanging from the ceiling in front of her, legs spread wide.

Helena turns back and finds the spider missing, turning back around to find her dangling in front her, rather then recoil she dives on Strike hugging the arachnid and laughing.

Strike returns the hug, lifting Helena off the floor briefly before letting go. Meanwhile, Red seems to be ready to leave, having put on a business suit of all things.

Helena giggles as she's lifted into the air, and laughs all the harder after being set down and seeing Red in a business suit. Stifling her laughter with her hand she just shakes her head and heads out. Fun was all fine and good but they were gonna miss their ride at this rate...

The taxi is waiting outside the hotel, and quickly takes them to the bus station.

As they walk into the bus, the rider looks at the party as if about to say something, but perhaps wisely decides to keep his mouth shut instead. Two hours later the trio gets out of the bus in front of the university.

Helena rides in silence, dreading the return and for the solid two hours, says nothing. When the get out of the bus in front of the university, Helena sarcastically spreads her arms and says loudly "Welcome to crazy town."

For once, no-one seems to be paying attention to Red or Strike. Strike merely sticks close to Helena, while Red's head spins as she looks all around her. "So where are Ginny and Jasmine?"

*I can avoid work, and odds are I'll be bouncing back forth from here to New York depending on my mood. Sharass misses you by the way* Helena sent, stifling a giggle. "There up in the library, ill take you there, and then I'm going to go for a fly, get some air. Come on"

Leading the two to the library was a matter of practice at this point, and as soon as they were settled, she was jumping out of a window, and probably flying into the swamp and away from people in general.

Strike glomps Jasmine and Ginny, too, though not with the enthusiasm Helena gets. Heretage seems interested in Red, and the two start talking, with Red asking for information about local slime population.

The air is clear and there isn't much in the way of wind, so flying is enjoyable enough. Not long after she took to air Helena finds herself looking over the swamp.

Helena lands in the swamp and just walks around, enjoying the scenery, there was much in a swamp to be admired if you looked, and went over recent events carefully, trying to figure out where everything had changed.

Gods it had all gone so fucking wrong, everything had, and that flash after... after... "FUUUUCK~!" Helena screamed into the woods. No longer caring where she was going she went back to thinking. The flash had reminded her of that damned book, the one that had warped reality so badly after having read it. Things were messing with her head and Helena didn't appreciate any of it one little bit.
