The cellar is dark to the point of dampening all light and the air feels like it's coming through wet wool. As Helena turns on or conjures a light, she can see a human figure lying on the floor, whimpering quietly. His clothes are all but rags, and he has wounds all over himself, as if he had been clawed by some horrible beast.

"Holy hell!" Helena said as she rushed down to aid the injured person. "What happened?"

"So...hungry" The man's voice is but a whisper as he speaks: "They...somehow got free. And when I came to the cellar they attacked me. Then they laughed! Laughed as they closed the door, sealing me here to die."

Helena instantly backed away, something was off... "Did they make you drink anything. Tell me now"

The man slowly pulls his hands under him, trying to get up. "I don't...So hungry!"

"Well, so am I" Helena said. There was one easy way to find out. Cutting her hand with an elongated nail she let a few drops of fresh blood hit the ground near him...

The vampire's face suddenly twists as he leaps towards Helena, grabbing her arms and starting to try to pin her down.

As Helena blinks away, the vampire turns towards her and with surprising speed grabs her again, pushing her heavily against a wall.

Helena cries out as she hits the wall and hits it with a double dose of fire, trying to drive it back.

The vampire screams as its skin starts to smoke, but its grip only grows tighter and a pair of fangs extends from its mouth.

Helena squirms as his grip only gets tighter and pales when she sees the fangs, Not enough energy to blink, and she doubted she could escape. Focusing what dregs of energy she had left, Helena tried to knock it back with a telekinetic blast...

The vampire simply shrugs off the blast and its fangs pierce the skin of Helena neck. The whole world goes white.

Blinking, Helena realizes that she's still standing against the wall. A few drops of blood are making their way down her neck and she feels weaker, though not too much so. The vampire stumbles back with a look of horror on his face before collapsing to the floor and starting to scream as claws extend from his fingers and he starts to convulse, the claws tearing deep gashes to his skin and to the floor.

Helena gasps as the fangs sink in and the world fades around her...

Snapping out of it she sees the vampire stumbling back in horror before convulsing and writhing on the ground, long claws gouging the floor and hurting itself. Without thinking Helena dives on him and tries to stop him from hurting himself. "Snap out of it! Come on!"

In her weakened state, Helena is easily thrown aside by the convulsing vampire. The convulsions soon start growing weaker, until he passes out, looking very much like he should be dead.

Helena cries out as she hits the ground and waits for the vampire to stop convulsing before moving forward and checking him. Undead looked dead, hence the term, she had no idea one way or the other. Lifting him up she took him upstairs and did her best to care for him. Trying to get a bead on Jasmine with her mind...

The stench of garlic assaults Helena again once she gets upstairs. None of the wounds on the vampire looks too bad by itself, but there are many of them and he seems to be burning up, not to mention the burns Helena managed to inflict.

*No energy left, Bitten, Vampire... He's hurt, So am I and I need a hand..*

Helena is having trouble staying focused, with no energy left, having been bitten, and the wounds in the struggle slow to heal, its all taking its toll...

Despite her weakness, the wounds on her neck quickly stop bleeding and the weakness starts going away, leaving away a gnawing hunger for both food and sex.

About fifteen minutes later Jasmine arrives with a chinese take-away meal. "How are you feeling? I thought you could probably use something to replace that lost blood."

"Tired, and Starving!" she says, taking the chinese food and tearing into like an animal, even more so then usual... when she was finished she belched loudly and pondered the question of the vampire on the ground, trying to ignore the need for sex...
