*Don't worry, it's just uncomfortable, nothing else. Just because you're a demon now doesn't mean you're evil. Don't try anything on the monks.* The monk closes the gates after them and leads them through the grounds to a low building with three sections; one meant to be a common area and the other two for sleeping, with thin mattresses lying on low beds. "Food will be brought to you. You are free to walk on the grounds, but don't enter any of the other buildings. You are also invited to participate in a prayer at dawn." The monk gives them a slight bow to which the others answer, the guides immediately and Ginny and and Jasmine after a slight hesitation. Then he leaves them alone with an oil lamp hanging near the door.

{Noted}. Helena just smiles and nods, ignoring most things and waiting for some privacy. {What's with all the Evil may not enter stuff. Think they know something about that pack of undead earlier?}

*Perhaps. Then again, these monks always tend to be worried about evil, and there are other things lurking about. Not that most of those things would bother us.* Ginny looks around, admiring the architecture while the guides just sit and talk and Red is playing with Strike again. It hasn't been long until a pair of young monks arrive with a meal consisting of spicy vegetable stew with rice.

Helena decides not to worry overly much and just enjoys her meal before taking an early night and passing out curled up next to Strike and Red.

Though Helena doesn't notice it, Strike soon leaves for her nightly hunt. Shortly before dawn Helena wakes up with the others as the bells ring, calling the monks to prayer.

Helena doesn't bother with prayer but instead puts some pretty bland clothing on, Jeans and a T shirt, and heads outside to enjoy the fresh air and get away from the itchy building. She'd wait out here until everyone was ready to move on. While she was outside she went over the gear and anything else she could think of to get the party moving just a little faster, getting some prep out of the way.

Jasmine doesn't go to the prayer either, but the others do. It doesn't take long to prepare for leaving as not much was unpacked, so the two are left with nothing to do for a better part of an hour.

"Just something else I've picked up. I don't think you're powerful enough to learn it just yet, unfortunately. I think they're going to be praying for a good while."

Jasmine sits down with a yawn. "I guess we'll just wait, then." Eventually the others get back and ready themselves for the hike, and soon the group is moving again. As soon as the monastery is out of the view, Jasmine sprouts wings and takes to the air.

Helena opts to stay on the ground, sticking with the group down below in case something else went wrong. She enjoyed flying but given what had happened yesterday she wanted to be close if anything went wrong.

Jasmine doesn't get far ahead, only scouting enough to tell them which path to take as the group makes its way down to the valley. The day promises to be boring and Jasmine returns when they stop for lunch as the path starts going up again.

Helena could go for some boredom after recent events but she was regretting the decision to walk, her feet were hurting. As they stopped for lunch Helena plomped down on the nearest rock and sighed. "Any clue as to how close the next stop is?" she asked Ginny. Their other destinations had been pretty clear cut, but this one was on word from a slimegirl and the guides knowledge of the surrounding area. That was more then enough but it made specifics a little trickier. "Red, out of curiosity, how old are you?"

"It's only about 10 km in a straight line from here. But with two mountains in a way, it'll take us all of today and tomorrow." Red seems surprised from the question. "Huh? I'm not really sure, actually. I think...some dozens of years, maybe?"

Helena seems a little disheartened by Ginny's answer but Red's makes her smile. "You're awfully cute for someone in their 30's" Helena says with a giggle. "Well if thats the case we should keep moving, I don't relish the idea of being caught out here after dark"

After a short rest the group gets moving again, with Jasmine once again getting up to the sky.

Helena stays at the rear of the group, keeping an eye on things and looking for anything out of the ordinary, with her eyes and mind. {Anything interesting up there Sis?} she asks as she sweeps the surrounding area for anything seemingly malicious...
