Jasmine doesn't listen Helena for long before whacking her with a pillow and the driver doesn't seem to care either way.

Helena squeals as she's womped with a pillow, laughing loudly as she teases Jasmine. "What? I was just trying to pass the time!" Still chuckling a little despite herself Helena resigns and relaxes for the rest of the journey, enjoying the scenery.

Eventually the group arrives at the supposed site and unloads from the cars. The place is a small grove, but not much else. "This is supposed to be the place. Let's eat lunch and then take a look around."

Helena gets out of the car and stretches before helping unload things and get lunch started. not all that hungry herself she just tries to stay busy.

The lunch doesn't take very long to make or eat. Afterwards, Ginny orders everyone into a line and they start combing the grove. Before they can start, Strike finds a deep hole in the ground.

"Helena calls out to the others and points out the hole. "I vote we follow the giant spider."

The hole is several meters deep, but not difficult to climb down. After Helena comes Jasmine, then Ginny and last the guides. At the bottom opens a narrow tunnel occasionally growing low enough that they have to crawl to get through and never wide enough for two to walk side by side. It's not very long until Helena hears a buzzing sound, much like in the last tunnel she was in.

"I think I hear another one of those mist throwing ice machines, which probably means more monsters as well, be careful..." Helena slows slightly, keep her eyes peeled as she continues on her way through the tunnel, wary...

Helena shrugs and just keeps moving, lord only knew she'd handled the worst of the last set of ruins on her own, it would be no different this time it seemed...

The tunnel widens considerably as the mist-machine comes into view. When Helena and Jasmine move closer, it triggers, though Jasmine spreads her wings to avoid slipping and manages to catch the machine with a whip, pulling it to point to another direction as an alarm sounds. "You can come now, it won't hit you."

Helena moves farther into the room and readies herself, knowing the alarm meant something was coming {Somethings coming Jas, get ready}

The others come out of the tunnel ready to fight, only to face a rather ordinary looking young man with a goatee, though Helena immediately senses that he's something more. "Well, well. What have we here? Adventurers?"

"Helena represses the urge to just attack the strange man, remembering how well that had gone with Jasmine back when she was the odd one. "Scientists, actually. And who might you be..."

"Scientists? Interesting. I am what you might call ah... the guardian of this place, if you will. You may look around if you want to and I'll be glad to answer your questions if I can, but please refrain from taking or damaging anything."

"Ah...well, I suppose that explains why you are here. I understand that this place used to be theirs, but I have it on a good word that there hasn't been any here for centuries at least and only few artifacts, like this alarm system, remain. My current employer has been here since 15th century and this place was already abandoned when he moved in." "Your...employer?" "A dragon. He's asleep at the moment and likely won't wake up for several days, so there's no need to worry. He hardly ever eats humans, anyway."
