"Hmm..." The death knight rested her chin between thumb and forefinger as she considered the options before her. "Choices, choices." A few moments prior, Aurelia would have shouted, wailed, and gnashed her teeth at the appearance of more decisions to make and the lack of enemies to dispatch. The refuge from the blazing sun did much for her mood, however. Any longer under the obnoxious ball of flame and she might have gone berserk. Regardless of anything that the guard tower might have lacked for, its shade alone made it the very height of comfort for the ashen knight.

As it was, she could move at her leisure. If there were any enemies in the tower they were hers to dispatch. The half-vampire might even find the time to indulge her thirst, if she was lucky. But how to choose which set of stairs to explore first... "Squire, inside." The woman called out to her thrall, much more calmly than she had addressed him while outside. She glanced around the room as the undead gemini stumbled in. Once he was inside and at attention, she gave the order. "Hand me my helmet and then spin in place as fast as you can."

She had no doubt that the order would be carried out unquestioningly, no matter how peculiar, the husk being incapable of treason. After retrieving the helmet, the half-vampire stowed it under her arm as she watched her servant begin to spin. Aurelia allowed the act to continue for several seconds before suddenly extending a hand and giving the spinning zombie a push. It wasn't exactly rough but the motion was more than enough to put her creation off balance. The undead creature stumbled a few steps before crashing to the ground. The important part, for Aurelia at least, was that the heap of fallen zombie was pointing towards the downward stairs. "Down it is, then."

The dispassionate woman gave her thrall a hand back to its feet before returning the helmet to its care. "Hold this. Stay by the door. Screech, make some noise, or draw some attention if anything hostile comes from upstairs," she gave the short and plain orders to the undead gemini, promptly ignoring it after they were issued and turning to advance towards the stairs. Aurelia didn't expect the creature to survive, or perhaps even notice any assailants, if more gemini came from upstairs, but at least she would be able to feel the energy she had poured into the creation being snuffed out if it came down to it.

With everything else handled, the death knight began her descent of the stairs, sword and shield in hand. Even though she took the time to glance at her surroundings cautiously, Aurelia was anything but. Her armor clanked with such frequency and volume that anything that could be below surely already knew she was there. If that wasn't enough, the brazen half-vampire began to sing lowly to herself as she moved.

"Dance like a marionette," she softly sung, humming the next bit as she forgot the lyrics. It was really just another day in her profession, for her.

Aurelia will go down the stairs.

The undead gemini's new orders are to stand in front of the door. If any enemies come down the stairs (or up, or into the guard tower period) then screech or make a bunch of noise somehow. It's free to defend itself too, of course.

Aurelia's applicable stats: 11 Speed, 60 Dodge, 19 Armor, 26 Resistance, 23 Perception, -1 Stealth, 52 Grapple.

Fun Fact: Yes. Yes, she is humming Symphony of Destruction.

Cheat Sheet
When dealing HP damage: On a killing blow she makes a 21 + (Damage done/10)*Tier vs enemy resistance check against all opponents within 30 feet and in line of sight of her. If they fail they're unable to attack that round. If they fail twice they retreat or surrender.
When taking HP damage: 16 of her AV is due to Splint Mail, which has a DU of 6 and a TP of 50. She reduces damage dealt by /4 after armor due to her vampire mutation.

When dealing PP damage: She deals an additional +6 PP damage during penetrative sex due to Tight x3.
When taking PP Damage: She takes an additional +12 PP damage from Sensitive x3. She also has 5 fetishes but I'm not really sure how to list them here. >.>
Has Fertile (Pregnant on roll of 2 or more)

When taking EP damage: She takes an additional +4 EP damage from Open Soul.

She has foul aura, NPCs are more likely to distrust her.

Zahra watched carefully as, as far as she could tell, nothing happened with the barrier. This magic stuff was way over her head. Meanwhile, the gruff she had asked for arrows came through, and she handed off her old quiver for a new, full one, nodding to him and saying "thank you" quietly and slowly. She waited a few more moments, staring at the central tower, before she heard Solidyn order the fae sorceress to go into the tower to back Huldah up. It seemed like a decent enough idea to her, and it seemed that the others had this area relatively well secured. She followed after the sorceress, calling out "got your back" as they got to the guard tower. "I'll keep watch here, keep anyone from going up or down. Call if you need me" she said, training her arrow on the staircase. "Huldah, I'm up here if you need me!" she screamed down the stairs, wanting to let her friend know.

Prepare an arrow for firing again.

The sorceress nodded, and she and Zahra promptly followed Huldah over to the tower as the gemini decided where she wanted to go. The faerie healer was behind Huldah as she started down the stairs, but a good ways behind. As she started down, however, the gemini felt the spell that Kor had cast on her suddenly dissipate, leaving her far less protected than she'd been before. This proved to be somewhat of a problem when she rounded a corner and found the half dozen gemini she'd sent fleeing trying to open a door further in. One of the former Su-Ku-Ta turned and stared at Huldah in horror for a moment, but then quickly darted forward, tentacles already lashing out and partially binding the turned woman as the other five quickly turned at the sound of the scuffle. "Hurry! If she's down here alone maybe we can take her with us!"

"Crap... Uhh... Help!" The faerie sorceress said, and then shouted for help up the stairs, the sound carrying up to Zahra as the cat woman aimed her bow at the steps leading upwards.

Aurelia's zombie faithfully stood around outside as she started downwards, and unfortunately she found much the same, in perhaps a less pleasant manner. The death knight spotted tentacles out of the corner of her eye, and turned to block the sudden attack of a gemini soldier. The reaching tendrils reached around her defenses, however, and Aurelia felt a half dozen of the things writhe their way beneath her armor and around her shield armor, tugging her closer to one of the fallen catfolk. Another pair of the creatures were visible down the hall from her, already heading over to aid their comrade, and she could feel the alien's aphrodisiac's pumping into her system, making her forcibly aroused despite the violence around her.

Outside, the kobolds on Solidyn's back aimed her cannon at the thing floating above carefully and promptly lit the fuse. A tremendous explosion pealed into the courtyard as a puff of smoke and flames poured out of the mouth of her weapon, the force of the shot causing her armor to rattle and the stone to shake as fiercely as when she'd collided with it. The floating monstrosity took the shell just above its center, and after a brief flash the shell exploded. Her target exploded into a shower of gore, nearly a quarter of it simply blown to grey gooey chunks and sent flying all over the fortress. The rest tumbled to the ground next to the tower, its tentacles giving one final spasm before going still. The barrier, however, remained intact.

At least, until Kor's spells completed. His first increased his magical powers higher than they'd ever been before, while his second lashed out at the barrier before it could recover. And that barrier broke.

Unfortunately, rather than simply vanishing, the field of magic broke into countless pieces of varying size, each like a shard of glass. The nearest shards promptly tore right toward him, seeking him unwaveringly even as he recoiled out of their way, and tore into his flesh. The magic sliced through him like butter, ignoring his supernatural resilience and shredding through his flesh like tissue paper and leaving him badly bloodied.

Dozens more shards, these ones much larger, were already heading toward him, but now he wasn't the only one. More were heading for those moving their supplies into the fortress, and still more went for Solidyn and Ur-Wind on the wall. Each had only a few seconds to react before the life seeking blades of magic were tearing into them.

Huldah smirked when she say the other gemini working at the door. she raised her massive club to smash the one as it came for her, but it aproached to fast for her to get a swing in. wrapping tentacles around her and keeping her from swinging properly.

"No! If you're going anywhere, it's back up with me to apologize!" She yelled back, her own cloak of tentacles coming alive to fight back, trying to tie up the catwoman's own and throw her back. "You be nice and come along, and you'll learn how to not be mean anymore!" She yelled, raising her club again as a threat.

Break the grapple, deliver ultimatum. Simple enough, right?

The death knight was roused from her song by the appearance of another gemini. Instantly, her training kicked in and the half-vampire oriented her tower shield to block the fallen creature's attack. But perhaps it was the wrong move. The adversary that Aurelia had been faced with was either quick enough or lucky enough to use her shield against her. He used the blind spot created by her defense to slip past it entirely, coiling slimy tendrils under the arrogant knight's armor and arresting her skin with the appendages. Naturally, this infuriated her.

"How dare you touch..." The half-vampire trailed off as something else stirred in her. Her appall gave way to a stirring in her loins that she hadn't seen to in centuries as the slime soaked into her ashen skin. "Ooh, that's nice," she murmured. The pleasant tingling in her skin where the slime had touched her had left her nerves feeling sensitive and needy. It reminded her of some of the medicines and aphrodisiacs she had taken during the height of her debaucheries. Not a single one of them was as potent as the gemini's slime, though. Could she milk them for it? Bottle it, maybe? Oh, how the mystery substance made her want to indulge that particular vice! But, she was still a noblewoman, in her own opinion, there was a way to go about seeking pleasure from lessers. "I wonder if I can keep you..."

The death knight's sword became shrouded with her malevolent energies yet again, tendrils crept downward toward the floor. Soon after, sections of the floor would burst up from beneath all three of her opponents, attempting to forcibly drag them to the ground. If luck were on Aurelia's side, the turned beast-men would soon find themselves locked to the ground by bands of the stuff the fortress was made out of, forcing them to lie, spread-eagle, perfectly flat on the floor. The real fun would begin shortly after...

Aurelia will use Animate using function 1, X = 10 and an additional 2 EP in order to target the additional 2 gemini.

1) The object can be animated to bind the target temporarily. If used in this way, the character pays X EP. Unless the targeted creature wins a Grapple check against a DC equal to 6X (this DC does get a d20 roll,) they gain the Bound status. Multiple creatures can be targeted by increasing X by 1 without affecting the DC for each

So, unless I'm totally misunderstanding this, each has to make grapple check against 1d20 + 60 or they become bound.

Ceiling is 9 so this will cost a total of 15 EP and 3 HP.

Note (should it matter): After they're grappled, she's going to escape the grapple and take a quick glance at her surroundings to see if there's anywhere else that more gemini can pop in from. Then it's time to play a little game. >.>

As the barrier shattered Kor broke out in a smirk, right up until it started to fall in shards and he was savaged by several, tearing through his hardened body like paper and leaving him badly wounded, he had seconds to do something, the door was either locked or sealed and judging from this trap that was entirely too risky. "Custom Work huh? My Turn" He Screamed at the Sky, his quickened senses and violently increased power flaring to life around him, the very Aether at his command becoming visible as he wrapped a dome of power around himself, this might have been enough if that spell was normal, and judging from the huge holes in his chest it most certainly wasn't. No... This required more. Even as it was erected that glowing barrier started to spin at an insane pace, Kor's mind forcing it to rotate, the sand around him billowing up in a small hurricane as the air was forced to follow it.

in less then a second the spinning dome was up and moving fast, but what Kor was doing inside was anyones guess. In actuality the second spell in this little scheme was flaring to life. Hammering waves of Force pounding at the inside with all of his might, held in check by the force of the Barrier in a delicate balance by his own resistance and the violent rotation dissipating the impact around him.

As soon as the next shard struck the barrier seeking his life all of the redoubled energy would be released in the 180 degree dome around him with terrifying force carrying with it the tremendous power of his will, Shattering those nearby and hopefully knocking the others out of the air or at least off target, this was gonna be one hell of an explosion...

If this worked then it would be something for the history books, if it didn't then he wouldn't have long to regret the miscalculation. The do or die moment was at hand and he would survive even if just to steal the secret of the barrier that had wounded him so badly. This was personal now...

Force Barrier Utility Meshed with Hammering Waves. The description of this little concoction is above. Regardless, even with just the barrier those shards would have to trump his resistance. Im actually hoping the sheer force of this explosion is enough to knock the other shards off their aim and save anyone else that I can.

A massive boom sounded from her cannon. After but a second, the thing up in the sky was suddenly a missing a great deal of itself, which had become the only rain this place had felt in probably years.

YES! Her ears were ringing again, and the shot crushed and shook her armor against her fiercely - but she was long used to that, by now. She might not have gotten to rip apart any of the soldiers today, but she was the one carrying the weapon that killed that giant in the sky - what could the rest of this lot do that measured up to that?!

A sudden movement from below caught her eye, however - that mage of theirs had just been ripped through by... glass? What?

She didn't have long to dwell on the event, as a few spinning chunks had suddenly righted themselves, and were now flying towards their boys on the ground - and at her - and at Marshal Ramel.

"WATCH OUT!" she screamed. "COVER THE MARSHAL!"

With her mind, she screamed out a different message - she was going to need another healer - another Sorcerer. She screamed out that it would probably be dangerous to appear anywhere but under her, though she didn't pause to see where the faerie ring appeared.

As best she could, she dumped the ones still on her back off onto the narrow walltop, and then quickly hopped to dance over them and shield them from the glass knives now flying at them. They weren't heavily armored - it was impractical, both with in the desert heat, and because of how much movement crewing her gun required. The blast would tear them apart - hopefully she would be alright with her armor, though she the possibility of her not being such worried her - would it be worse if she tumbled off the wall, possibly damaging the cannon and maybe even cracking her chitin shell? Or would it be worse if she faltered or flinched away, smashing her crew and Ur-wind?

Summon ye second Sorcerer, for healsies; meatshield for gunnery crew, especially Ur-Wind!

The summon costs 8 EP - which is in addition to ye +3 from upkeep. That's 11 EP, 5 over over my Spirit Ceiling of 6, and comes out a total of 16 EP and 5 HP, and should knock my HP to 52 and my EP to an even 30 before I get raped by shieldsbullets.

Upkeep: 3 EP/turn

Final stats (with +15 to dodge and res due to buff)

Zahra didn't have to wait long in staring up the stairs before she heard the fae sorceress call out for help, and she silently began to run down the stairs, taking them three at a time. It wasn't far to the corner where the fighting was happening, and she rounded it with the arrow already notched, stopping and raising it up to draw the string back. She didn't have a clear shot on the one grappling with Huldah, the former Su-Ku-Ta was too close, but she did have a shot on one of the ones closer to the door, and she let the arrow fly without hesitation.

2d8 + 39 damage, d20 + 62 to-hit
(Double-check my math on the damage if you would, something seems wrong about it)

"Aye, take cover men!" Ur-Wind shouted just after Solidyn, though he refused any attempt on the arachne's part to be placed under her body protectively. "I will not cower in the face of danger!" He said enthusiastically, and stood proudly on top of the wall even as most of those under his command dove for cover.

On the ground, Kor's barrier came up between him and the oncoming shards of magic, many of them shattering against the force barrier as he prepared his second spell. Pain shot through the vampire's skull as he stressed his already dwindling energy supply, but there was little choice in the matter now. He had to stop those shards before they wiped out his allies, and the barrier he'd conjured suddenly shattered and formed a wave of force. That wave hurtled upwards, shattering the majority of the shards into harmless pieces. Unfortunately, the man had also expended the last of his strength, and the pain of his numerous wounds and the ache in his head were the last things that Kor remembered before the half vampire collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

But only the majority, as Solidyn found out to her detriment. Forced to shield her eyes from the bright flash of the barrier's explosion, she didn't see the few remaining shards coming for her until it was too late. They tore through her, passing through her armor as if it wasn't even there and biting into her flesh all over. Several of the shards also went for Ur-Wind, one aimed straight at the kobold's heart, but their leader stood fast with a smirk on his face, and the deadly shards streaking toward him suddenly hit an invisible barrier, shattering and leaving him completely untouched. A moment later, the second faerie she'd summoned in order to help heal appeared nearby, at the bottom of the wall. Glancing around at the other fleeing fey and then up at Solidyn, she called up; "So... What'cha need spider lady?"

Down in the tower, Huldah threw off the alien grappling her and delivered her ultimatum, and the gemini glanced among one another. For a moment, it seemed like they were about to accept rather than risk the powerful warrior's wrath, but then Zahra came around the corner and promptly shot one of them in the chest with an arrow. "Your timing sucks!" The sorceress shouted angrily at her as the gemini rushed the three of them, but before they could reach them the faerie chanted a spell, and a field of vines suddenly appeared in their enemy's midst. Half of their foes were momentarily stopped, but only momentarily, as their own tentacles allowed them to easily tear away some of the vines grabbing them and their slimy coating made it easier to slip free.

Zahra and the faerie sorceress were quickly grabbed, the gemini's slime seeping into their skin and immediately taking effect, bringing unwanted arousal up in both women. "I'll show you right where you can stick your long pointy things!" The one who'd been shot, who was now holding the archer muttered darkly, her tendrils already getting under the cat girl's clothing and heading right for her bottom. The three gemini who had escaped the vines and the one that Huldah had already thrown off were already starting back toward the woman in a clump, no doubt intending to grab her again.

In the other tower, the gemini seemingly had little to respond to Aurelia with, as the two continued to rush toward her while the one already on her got ready to start tearing her armor off. They didn't get the chance, however, as the floor under their feet suddenly rose up and promptly yanked them down. All three were bound to the floor under thick strands of living stone, none possessing the strength to pull away from the floor's powerful grasp. Around her, there were two closed doors on either side of her, and Aurelia could see a padlock on one and another lock lying on the floor just next to the non-locked door.

The three former Su-Ku-Ta wriggled helplessly, the tips of some of their tentacles just barely visible over the edge of their bindings. They looked up at the imposing figure that had bound them so easily without even moving a muscle, clad in heavy black armor and wielding a sword apparently capable of dark magic, with readily evident terror.

Aurelia sported a malicious smile as she looked down, both figuratively and literally, on the terrified group. "Oh? Terror? That's good." Her eyes and smile widened in a manner all too frighteningly similar to a sociopath who had just been handed a fly and some tweezers. "It simply wouldn't be as fun if you were mindless. Completely mindless, that is." A cackle rung out through the room. Yes, she decided, this will be great fun.

"Let's play a little game, shall we? I am in the mood for little games. My specific preference for them has gone unfulfilled for an unthinkably long time and you three are such a captive audience," she noted the last part more haughtily than normal, even for her. The armored woman stalked toward the unlocked door, eying it carefully. The half-vampire let silence fill the room for several moments as she considered how best to ward herself from interruptions. Dreadful, ominous, deadly, wonderful silence would be the only noise that the frightened former Su-Ku-Ta would hear from her for several very long seconds.

She did not turn from her inspection of the door when she did continue addressing them. They were little more than insects to be crushed beneath her boot at a whim, by her reckoning, why should they require her undivided attention? Like a pin dropping, she broke the silence with a low voice. "The prizes will be simple. The winners, if there are any, get to live. The losers, of which I'm sure there will be many, will die in a gruesome manner that will be remembered, for the rest of their pitiful little lives, by all who are unfortunate enough to stumble across the scene." The death knight casually strode into the middle of the three, giving them each an appraising look. Her eyes bore into them, searching for their weaknesses, their fear, and letting them know that it was a natural response and that she very much wanted them to embrace it. Eenie, meenie, miney, moe.

"There are three rounds. The first is the sudden death round." As soon as the words had left her lips, Aurelia exploded into action. Her sword tore for one of the gemini's throats at random, based on that noblest methods of selection. Her shield followed up on the attack in order to separate his head from his body. The violent burst of action continued until he was either mutilated to death, properly headless, or she had been interrupted. When only two - or more than three - gemini remained in the room, she turned to the remaining two casually and added; "He loses."

"Round number two is the question round. You need only answer a simple question and you'll make it to the third and final round. Succeed here and I will offer you the chance to please me much more personally." Aurelia smiled in what might have been a seductive manner in any other context but given the circumstances probably looked more akin to a slasher smile aimed at the remaining gemini. She gave one last glance to the door before wiping her weapon off on the corpse she had just created and sheathing it. It was carefully stacked, with her shield, near the stairway. To ensure that the two tentacled cat-men could have no other idea as to what she meant, she began to strip. Armor came off and clattered to the floor, piece by piece, until she was standing before them, stark naked. Both of her hands went up to her hair, releasing her lengthy mane from its bun captivity and allowing the length of raven-hair to cascade downward behind her slim frame. The half-vampire even arched her back and cooed to accentuate the motion as she let her hair down, wondering if the game's "players" would find time in-between panicking to enjoy the view.

"Both of you will have the same question and that is: are there any others around who might interrupt our little game? Remember, a wrong answer will mean me cutting off your cock and tentacles and feeding them to you, or maybe each other, one by one," she had made that last penalty up on the spot. Aurelia was still quite proud of her on-the-fly thinking. Besides, she very much doubted that they would question it.

Aurelia murders a single gemini at random and then strips (if she ends up having the time).

For her attacks she'll be using:

She'll continue the attacking for as many rounds as necessary to murder the guy, if extra rounds need to be rolled. Afterward, it's time to determine whether or not she bars the doors using animate or she just goes straight to sitting on someone's face.

Aurelia's applicable stats: 11 Speed, 60 Dodge, 19 Armor, 26 Resistance, 23 Perception, -1 Stealth, 52 Grapple.

When dealing HP damage: On a killing blow she makes a 21 + (Damage done/10)*Tier vs enemy resistance check against all opponents within 30 feet and in line of sight of her. If they fail they're unable to attack that round. If they fail twice they retreat or surrender.
When taking HP damage: 16 of her AV is due to Splint Mail, which has a DU of 6 and a TP of 50. She reduces damage dealt by /4 after armor due to her vampire mutation.

When dealing PP damage: She deals an additional +6 PP damage during penetrative sex due to Tight x3.
When taking PP Damage: She takes an additional +12 PP damage from Sensitive x3. She also has 5 fetishes but I'm not really sure how to list them here. >.>

Which came, as expected. Sharp pains came from across her spider half's back... but... all in all, it didn't feel that bad, really. Huh. She quickly replaced the concern over her own hide for that of the Marshal - he could handle himself, of course, but one of those shards looked to be shooting straight for his heart. What if...?

That, too, looked to be an unfounded fear, as Ur-Wind remained unharmed. "Hah! I'd forgotten you could do that! I was a little worried for a moment there."

"What about the rest o' ya? Still alright, everyone?" Solidyn called out, to the gunners. They all looked alright - but it would be a simple task to get the sorceress to heal them, if they weren't. Once that was done, she bade them all jump back on.

"Get the gun loaded again!" she shouted. "We don't want to be caught with our pants down if somethin' nasty's in that tower, do we boys?!"

"As for you, fairy, just climb on. We need to go make sure the rest of the troop's okay as well. Best start with Kor, over there," she pointed; "He looks pretty bad... though, I've got some injuries as well, you might as well start on those. OH! And if you need to tell me something, make sure you yell - my hearings going!"

Once her passengers were all on, Solidyn picked her way down the side of the wall, making sure not to fall. Once she hit the ground, she started to run again - making for the unconscious half-vampire.

Make yon new sorceress heal us! Also fuck, I am seriously passing out writing this. Need sleeep.

Zahra looked confused as the sorceress shouted at her and the Gemini attacked, not quite sure why her timing was an issue. It seemed to her it was just perfect, as she watched the faerie restrain about half of the charging enemies with magical vines. That didn’t last long, however, as the tentacles of their enemies easily tore through them. Zahra soon found herself grabbed by the tentacles of the Gemini she had shot, and the familiar feeling of the aphrodisiac slime seeping into her skin spread through her. It was a familiar feeling, the slight, tingling arousal it brought her, though she had managed to avoid being raped by a Gemini up till now. Which was good, since in most cases to be raped was just the first step on the path to an inevitable death.

The tendrils quickly began to worm their way under Zahra’s clothes, moving down her loose pants towards her rump, others working their way up under her armor. Fortunately the Gemini hadn’t restrained the archer’s arms yet, a strange move, but tentacles were quickly moving to change that, and the Su-Ku-Ta knew she didn’t have much time. "Aull putum ‘ere a wannum" she shouted, not filtering her words in her haste, and she notched an arrow as quickly as possible and tried to finish off her foe.

Huldah growled in anger as the gemini made it past her, fumbling as she tried to catch one, then the other, failing at both somehow. the two proceeded to attack the two behind her, setting her off even more. "Noo!" She screams angrily, taking a single mighty swing at the gemini she had just thrown off, the apparent leader from earlier. She likely squishes it flat, but either way, she turns and glares at the two that were grabbing her friends, her own tentacles starting to flare up and flail behind her, to ward off the three just extricating themselves from the mass of vines. "Put them down now!"

One strike, using slay. Ignoring Cleave this time, so Terrify doesn't get the shot at making them run away.

Beneath Solidyn, the kobolds all came out of cover and indicated that they were unharmed, and the faerie shrugged and nodded, gently prodding the armored arachne in the shoulder. Her wounds healing immediately and completely as the woman climbed on top of her, the kobolds doing the same and setting about reloading the gun. Ur-Wind, grinning like a hyena, said; "No one can stop me!" He remained up on the wall, waving for Solidyn to climb down without him as he turned to survey the desert behind them. Once she reached an unconscious Kor, Solidyn found the man alive, his bleeding already stopped on its own, and the gruff that was standing over him checking his injuries reported; "His injuries aren't fatal, but he is exhausted. It will take him some time to recover, and only rest will do."

Down in the basement of the guard tower, Huldah promptly squished the gemini that had attempted to grab her a moment prior, and the other gemini stopped in their tracks at the powerful woman's display. The one holding Zahra took an arrow to the face, and then another (the one holding the sorceress) went down while a third was wounded under her fire. The faerie promptly summoned another swarm of vines, which grabbed the three gemini who had been about to attack Huldah before the corrupted woman's destruction of one of their number. The vines she'd summoned earlier lashed out, grabbing one of the gemini and preventing it from pulling free even as its comrades did, the two that escaped immediately going for the door and clawing at it in a attempt to flee for their lives.

Finally, in Aurelia's tower, one of the gemini she'd captured was promptly introduced to her her blade, dying immediately in a gurgle of startled pain as his throat was torn out in a single strike. The other two, their eyes filled with terror, had watched her strip without giving much thought to admiring her nude form. Both vehemently shook their heads at the half vampire's question, indicating that none were nearby, and so far the one door that wasn't securely locked from her side hadn't opened to dispel that claim.

"Good answers," she exclaimed in a voice that might have sounded genuine, a tone that would even have passed as dripping with honey, if not for the circumstances that had led to the geminis' frightened reactions. "They even match! And you did it without opening your mouths and disgracing yourselves by spouting useless words or, worse, begging!" The half-vampire let out a satisfied 'mm', it was important for the fallen catfolk to know exactly how much she enjoyed their discomfort and it was often the little actions and noises that really conveyed that. "Ah, you're both doing wonderfully, but I'm hurt. You haven't spared a single lustful glance towards my body. What's the matter, don't you like me? Am I not pretty enough for you?" Aurelia's mouth contorted into a mock pout. Her eyes, however, gleamed with a sadistic glee that simply dared the two to answer truthfully and to discover what their own intestines tasted like.

"Well, we'll just have to change that. Even foul peasants like you are good for something," she eyed their bodies, specifically their necks, as she spoke. "This is the final round, claim victory here and you'll find a long, long life ahead of you," so very, very long. At the unspoken words, her pout became a wicked grin that showed far too many of her dangerous teeth. "The objective is fairly simple. You will pleasure me and in turn I, as is only courteous, will return the favor. You will sate all of my needs, even if you are spent, or you will die. Perform to my satisfaction and you both can win this little game." The death knight padded towards one of the gemini, that same wicked grin still wide across her face. She watched him carefully as she listed the first rule, as if he had already committed some crime against her or her rules and she knew. Essentially, she was watching him to make him sweat. "There are a few additional rules. First, I am unfamiliar with your kind but I have shared my bed with succubi before. If I feel even a hint of my soul drain from my body then I will simply butcher you both, as you will have been proven unsuitable." She paused to let the words hang in the air for a time, for she very much considered both unsuitable at the moment, before sauntering to the other remaining gemini.

She knelt beside the second survivor, tracing her hands across the bands that held him to the ground, which was as close as she could get to him without inviting anymore of the slime onto her body. The ashen woman had adopted an expression of calmness and kindness as she began to smooth the bands and those same emotions persisted in her next words, adding all the more threat to them. "Second, if you get your low-blood seed anywhere near my womb, I will gut you like a fish. I am responsible for repopulating House Korort, and I will carry no more commoner's children, especially from ones as mangy as you two." She swung a leg over the bound gemini, sinking down until she was just inches away from the cat-man's aphrodisiac-covered skin. "Finally, if you must refer or speak to me then you will address me as Lady Korort, Mistress, or any other title that properly shows obeisance. These bands will hold, even if my consciousness should not. Remember the rules carefully should I suffer any momentary lapses, or I will be very cross when I come to."

The self-proclaimed noblewoman leaned in, her vicious teeth coming ever closer to the neck of the one she was straddling. Her mouth opened with a dangerous hiss as her hands propped on either side of the Su-Ku-Ta's body in order to support herself. She snapped forward with a forceful bite, easily breaking the skin and beginning to feed on the blood of her victim, but that wasn't all she did. Venom from her fangs drained into the gemini, which would cause a searing pleasure and sense of need to spread from his neck to the far reaches of his body. With a few graceful motions after she had taken her fill of him, the half-vampire made a 180 degree turn, ending up sitting on the fallen man's face. Though she had done her best up until that point to avoid ingesting or getting too much of the slime into her system, there was only so much that could be done on that front. Without any further concern at touching the potent aphrodisiac, her right hand moved to firmly grasp at the base of her partner's shaft.

Though the time for talk was long over as far as Aurelia was concerned, she couldn't help but add one last comment. "Let the real game begin."

Aurelia bites a gemini, using venomous attack to inject venom (pleasurable). Also: would like to hit 'em with the horny status effect as that's her venomous attack but I don't believe that works with a vampire's bite.

As Solidyn moves closer to Kor, his body begins to shimmer with a dark light. His power which should have been all but spent beginning to cycle through his blood again, his body convulsing as a grimace of pain crossed his face and a whisper escaped from his lips, "Noo~"

Ensiloth awoke within his prison, he could feel the vampire weak, his power spent. He had been careless, he was Weak... The Fae Lord struggled against his bonds and his soul sought to tear itself free from the Prison it had been condemned to so long ago...

Kor's eyes snap open and he staggers to his feet before looking at Solidyn and trying to get away, his gaze glassed over, his movements stiff and measured. Not now, Not like this! Not Here! He could feel the Sidhe fighting for freedom. How had he been so careless! His Power spent, his body barely standing on its own, he staggered as far away from all of the others as possible, giving himself room, moving into the center of the courtyard.

Reaching his apparent destination he used the last of his strength to draw a large circle in the sand and the stone, using his own blood, runes of power which burned into the ground and held an off blue glow that shimmered even in the desert sun before collapsing again on his back, his limbs curled up against his body as he shook and then suddenly lay still. From the aura that only seemed to be growing, A golden haired and red eyed man seemed to materialise, bedecked in nothing more then a golden chain and a silk loin cloth even as a spectral image of Kor appeared upon the other side, looking no different now then he did on the ground. Both roughly the same height, nearly the same build, the mysterious man looked at the ghost of Kor and his lip curled in derision and disgust before he saw the circle burned into the ground. "So... One last trick, one more way to keep me from victory, How long have we been doing battle Kor... How much longer can you keep it up? Every day I poison your mind and twist your memories and still you hold me..." His voice held an odd musical quality, like every breath was passed over a silver flute, but there was no hiding the hate and malice behind every syllable...

The image of Kor turned to see the man and smirked at the binding upon the ground. "Ensiloth, what a pleasure to see you again! I had thought you would have given in years ago, how long have I kept you on a chain? 50 years? 100? To be honest I stopped caring, like a master would forget an errant mongrel too long insolent and disobedient..." There was no malice in Kor's words, only a kind of sadness, as every joke was forced, every insult half hearted. "Don't do this again Ensiloth, you know you can't win, not like this, not without a body."

Ensiloth paced the edges of the circle, his fair skin contrasting wildly to Kor's black apparel and light tan, his face twisting in rage as the runes upon the ground flared to life and barred him from leaving its range. Suddenly his features began to shift, his hair shortening, his eyes changing. It seemed this was the Sidhe that Kor had claimed to be half of his lineage, if that was true then Kor was pure, or would be if he hadn't bonded with Ensiloth at some point for whatever reason. Snarling Ensiloth threw himself at Kor and picked him up by the throat before casting him upon the ground and beginning to pummel him, Kor doing nothing to stop the brutality until an arm shot up and grabbed the back of the Sidhe's head, forcing his neck closer and closer even as the Sidhe continued to beat and break whatever he could get his hands on until finally, with a sigh, Kor sank his teeth into his throat and slowly drained him dry. Ensiloth screamed and raged as he tried to break the vampires hold, his visage fading with every pull as his essence was again pulled into Kor's and rebound, both images being slowly forced back into Kor's real body. The last sound given by Ensiloth before his chains bound him again was a howl of rage and hatred before all was quiet...

As Zahra reached back for her arrow, Huldah smashed the Gemini opposing her flat to the ground with her club, turning it into a grotesque, bloody pancake, bits of its gore splattering about the room. The other Gemini paused, shock and fear coming back into their faces. The hesitation cost them dearly, as Zahra put an arrow through the face of the one holding her, and then cut down the former Su-Ku-Ta that had grabbed the fae, one last arrow sinking into the torso of a third Gemini, who promptly began to run, right into the vine trap set by the sorceress. The two that got through the vines began to claw at the door in fear, trying desperately to get away. "’Aulda" Zahra called out, notching an arrow idly as she watched the scene. "’Ese ‘uns ‘ave ‘ere minds. Could try ta get um ta see tings our way" she said, not minding the presence of the fae and simply speaking as she normally would when alone with the Gemini. The aliens had been killed now, so she knew that these enemies could be salvaged, if only they could convince them to turn. Maybe Huldah would be the best to try, seeing as she was one of them…

Huldah looked over to the archer and screwed her face up like she had to Kor earlier that day, then calmly walked past the gemini entangled in the fae's vines, hanging her club by a short loop onto her harness before placing a massive hand on the back of each gemini's neck firmly. "You're done. Come now and apologize." She told them, giving each a serious stare if they bothered to turn and look at her.

Let's try this again! Grappling if they refuse to co-operate, I think.

Solidyn left the Marshal up on the wall, presumably to coordinate their camp set up. She assumed he was going to start shouting orders, if he hadn't already. She couldn't hear him, if he had - especially with her cannon's second shot still ringing in her ears.

Making her way to their spellcaster, one of their men had apparently looked him over already, and gave her his report.

"Good, good. Go grab his medi- wha--"

Before she could finish, Kor apparently woke up, scurrying across the sand to... have some kind of fit of possession.

"What the hell?! No wonder he told me to make sure he took that crap every night." A moment passed while she thought, after which Solidyn spoke again. "Arright, 'e looks like he's actually out for good now, but it wouldn't hurt ta keep an eye on him. In the meanwhile, I'm gonna poke around in the tower, before I run outta juice. If a few a' you lot aren't too busy, keep a couple arrows trained on the door, in case there's something nasty in there, eh? The big gun ain't reloaded, yet."


She wasn't sure what was in that tower... but she bet it wasn't anything good. Maybe she'd get lucky, and they were just keeping their loot in there? Hopefully, really, really GOOD loot. It would justify a barrier like that, after all... But, that was no doubt wishful thinking. More likely, there was something nasty was in there, instead. She might get to tear something up today, after all.

"You... ah... fairy. Sorceress, right? C'mon, you're with me. Once we clear the place, we can get down to you n' your friend's payment."

She wondered if they liked eggs?

The corrupted Su-Ku-Ta that Aurelia had bound to the floor both nodded quite exuberantly, apparently understanding the rules she had set forth for them to follow. Even so, as she knelt next to one of the cat-men she could feel the tension rising in him even as she drew closer. In fact, the closer she came the more tense he became, and she could tell that if the cat man hadn't been coated in slime he would have been sweating by the time she let out her hiss. There was of course nothing that he could hope to do to prevent Aurelia from lowering her mouth his neck, and despite his fear the corrupted soldier let out a low, lewd purr as her fangs pierced his throat. Meanwhile, in the other tower, the cornered gemini promptly stopped struggling. Raising both their hands and tentacles in a non threatening gesture, they said in unison; "We give up!" The faerie women, still direction her vines to hold them down despite their surrender, sighed and said; "Alright, what do we do with this lot now? Take them upstairs?"

Finally, outside and following Kor's display, the fey set about following Solidyn's orders, as Ur-Wind said nothing to counteract them. The gruffs and kobolds all set up around her, some of the latter helping to reload her main gun as Solidyn moved toward the door. The faerie woman that she had summoned simply nodded and climbed up onto the armored spider's back, saying; "Okie dokie!"

The door was closed, but one of the gruffs simply pulled it open with a light tug before drawing a sword from his belt and holding his shield high. Inside the tower, the bottom floor was largely empty save for a set of stone steps that run along the walls, starting on the opposite side of the room from where they stood at the door and going up. They were wide enough that Solidyn, despite her considerable bulk, could walk up them with a gruff on either side. The floor was made of golden stone blocks, and had numerous battle scars upon it, but the fight here had seemingly ended some time ago.

"Interesting..." Ur-Wind's voice suddenly came from right next to her, and their diminutive leader stepped into the tower ahead of Solidyn with a curious expression, heading immediately for the stairs on the other side. "A sorcerer of some renown once lived here, before the war. I wonder what happened to him? And why were the aliens maintaining a barrier around the tower like that... Perhaps he left some valuables, hrm?"
