"A few samples of the silk could be useful. Oh, and the venomglands, too, if it's not too much bother." the count says, waving a hand. After passing through the barracks, gathering Ingtar, Mat, a corporal named Semyon and a redheaded, short-ish private named Petr, Natalie gets supplies for a four day round-trip in case of delays, though the trip is only expected to take two days plus however long it takes to deal with the monsters. Then finally Natalie and her little troop get on the way north towards Helmsdale.

The afternoon is warm and marching with a full backpack is enough to make Natalie sweat despite the symbiote, but none of the soldiers complain, even though on top of having backpacks, they're also wearing chainmail. Apart from a large cat-like beast that slinks into the woods upon seeing the five humans approach, the afternoon uneventfully turns towards evening.

'Yes sir!"

After collecting what she'd need and a squad of soldiers, Natalie would lead them out to the North, her "master's" orders in mind. All of the gear weighing her down and the warm weather left her sweating profusely, but it was preferable to a thunderstorm in her mind, so really it wasn't all that bad. She didn't much care for the idea of sleeping in her own sweat, however, and so as night was drawing nearer she started looking for a camp where she might find someplace nearby to bathe before bed.

Shortly before the dusk, Natalie finds a small stream of cleanish water, just large enough to bathe in. There's a campsite nearby, with some already chopped firewood in a small cache below a tree nearby, and other signs of regular use.

"Get something for us to sleep in set up," Natalie said to the soldiers, "and grab some more firewood to replace what we use. I'm going to go wash up." Her orders given, Natalie went to wash up in the stream, going someplace secluded first before setting her dress aside and making sure that her symbiote wouldn't keep her from getting clean.

The corporal barely waits for Natalie to stop talking before starting to bark orders. Two tents are already getting put up and Semyon himself is going to get firewood when Natalie goes to find a place to bathe in. There's a nice spot surrounded by thick bushes that block view several dozen yards to the upstream.

The symbiote recedes almost completely as Natalie slips into the water. There are small fishes in the stream, and as one of them brushes against Natalie, it begins to vibrate.

"Oooh, what are you?" Natalie said as she felt a fish pulsating against her skin. She watched it curiously, observing it without any apparent fear. They were tiny, what harm could they cause? Unless the fish proved more than just a curiosity, she would eventually get out of the stream, freshly clean, and morphed her symbiote into a set of underwear, carrying her clothes over one arm and heading back to camp. Should there be no other concerns that came up, she would let the soldiers do the brunt of the chores before turning in for the night.

At first one, then more of the fishes latch into Natalie's legs and arms, beginning to vibrate their way towards more sensitive areas.

"H-hey there! Stop that!" Natalie giggled as the strange fish latched onto her and began pulsating against her skin. She was more tickled than amorous, at least right now, and began pushing the things away playfully.

The fishes begin swarming around Natalie, and one of the latches right into her nipple, vibrating powerfully.

"H-hey! That's not for you!" Natalie grunted, blushing as the vibrating fish sent stimulation thrumming through her, the tip of her breast going from half hard to fully erect as it vibrated against her skin. She tried to brush it away, and ignore the mild arousal that the school of pulsating fish were starting to inspire as they squirmed their smooth bodies against her body.

Natalie manages to brush the most offensive fish away, but she can feel two slippery fishes crawling up her inner thighs. Getting rid of all the fishes while remaining in the water would be rather difficult.

Grumbling, Natalie squirmed and tried to close her legs, before realizing that she wasn't going to get rid of all of these horny little fish so easily. She didn't rush, but she did start awkwardly making her way towards the shore, intent on getting out before the squirming eels could find purchase on her.

Natalie manages to stumble back into solid ground before something more embarrassing happens. When she gets back to the camp, two tents have already been set up and a small fire is burning happily, surrounded by rocks to stop it from spreading. Semyon is boiling water on the fire, Petr and Ingtar are chopping firewood and Mat is nowhere to be seen.

"Where's Mat?" the redressed but still damp Natalie asked as she got back to camp, going to sit by the fire.

"Setting traps." Semyon replies, adding beets and salted meat into the boiling water. "Catching a rabbit or two would stretch out our supplies so we won't need to spend good silver."

"Fair enough then," Natalie answered, picking up a stick and poking at the fire with it, waiting for their meal to finish cooking.

After ten more minutes Mat returns to the camp, having finished setting his snares. Soon the meal is ready, and everyone takes a bowlful. If Natalie imagines really hard, it almost tastes like borscht.

The sun is already in the horizon, but the soldiers dutifully check their mailshirts for rust spots before preparing for sleep.

Having little else to do after eating, Natalie watched the soldiers checking over their armor for any spots that needed repairs for a while before turning in. If she had to take a turn at watch, she would, but otherwise she would sleep soundly through the digital night.

Though the ground is hard and uncomfortable, Natalie falls asleep fairly quickly. She's waken up by Mat for a watch a couple hours before the dawn, at the coldest time of the day. Fortunately the campfire, small as it is, dispels some of the cold, creating a nice pool of warmth.

Natalie huddled near the fire when it was her turn to take watch, huddling up in a blanket and trying not to fall back asleep. At least the cold was helping with that, but she wasn't exactly the most attentive even though she tried. Her symbiote offered little help for either problem, sadly, and she mentally noted those minor flaws in it so that they might be corrected later.
